SCP XXXX inside its case.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently stored at Site-17. Additionally, the individual instances and their storage box is to kept inside a electronically locked case accessible by Level 3 personnel or higher. Room has a single surveillance camera focused on the locked case used for storage. No instance of SCP XXXX is to be removed from its case unless for testing. Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX's temporal alteration only manifesting when actively used it is considered safe unless it is currently being tested. All requests for testing to be approved by no less than two level-3 personnel. All personnel used in testing must have a 5.5 memory retention rating or higher.
SCP-XXXX-1 is to be housed in a standard human containment cell. SCP-XXXX-1 is to remain in this containment cell unless being interviewed or undergoing testing. Current decision regarding future testing or termination pending 05 approval.
Description: SCP-XXXX are 72 standard 9mm high powered ammunition rounds matching the construction and composition common during the early 1950s. They were found in a 0.5m x 0.2m x 0.2m wooden storage box labeled with "Khodunki" (rough translation "Night Walkers"). SCP-XXXX first came to the foundation's attention after Agent McKinley, a foundation operative working within the FBI, noticed many cold cases surrounding matching ballistics and a total lack witnesses. After reviewing security footage pertaining to these cases, a single individual was noticed in each instance. A extensive manhunt was headed up by MTF Gamma 3, "The Huntsmen", and SCP-XXXX-1 was brought into foundation custody.
The anomalous nature of SCP XXXX becomes apparent when they are fired from any device capable of accepting this type of ammunition. Immediately after firing, all organisms in earshot suffer undergo sudden retrograde amnesia eliminating the last 24 hours of memory. This effect also extends to the individual wielding the weapon. This effect was initially assumed to be memetic in nature, but was reclassified as temporal manipulation after several tests,
Addendum Test Log SCP XXXX
Test 1 - 03/12/2019
SCP XXXX:**
Procedure:Testing mechanism of temporal effects. Two D class placed 50 meters from automated firing device loaded with single round of SCP XXXX. D25642 outfitted with noise cancelling headphones while D 34321 instructed to stand still.
Results: D 34321 suffers memory wipe effect, D25642 suffers no anamolous effects.
Analysis: It seems that the effect seems to be based upon hearing the gunfire. Further testing suggested using hearing impaired D Class personnel.
Test 2 - 04/01/2019
SCP XXXX
Procedure Testing conditions of temporal effect on hearing impaired. Two D class, D33454 who is totally deaf, and D32242 who is within normal parameters for hearing accuracy. Both subjects ordered to stand 50 meters from firing mechanism.
Results Both subjects suffered from temporal effects.
Analysis It seems the simple fact of the sound reaching the eardrum, regardless of function elicits the anomalous effect. Further testing involving other SCPs suggested, request denied.
SCP-XXXX-1 is a Caucasian male of Russian decent, appearing to be in late 50s, exact age impossible to determine due to extended exposure to SCP-XXXX. Identifies by the name Sergey, which upon admission isn't its birth name. After further investigation into the nature of how SCP-XXXX effects memories and eventually the aging process it is quite possible that SCP-XXXX-1 is much older than originally assumed. See Addendum Interview SCP XXXX-1.
Addendum Interview SCP XXXX-1
SCP XXXX-1
Dr. Akins
Translated from Russian:
<Begin Log>
Dr. Akins: Good morning SCP XXXX-1, how are we feeling?
SCP XXXX-1: *silence followed by a long sigh* That isn't my name.
Dr. Akins: Alright then, is there another name you would like to provide us?
SCP XXXX-1: Just call me Sergey, my real name no longer matters.
Dr. Akins: Very well, I will adjust the record to reflect that. Now, the reason we are here is to establish your connection to SCP XXXX.
Sergey: SC what? You mean the bullets?
Dr. Akins: Precisely. Are you aware of its special properties?
Sergey: The memory thing, yeah, I know what they do. The guys in development gave me the whole story when I joined Night Walkers.
Dr. Akins: Do you know how they work? How they produce the temporal adjustment?
Sergey: Can't say I do doc, they don't tell operators how it works, just that it does. Promised I would never get caught, that no one would remember my face. Guess they miscalculated that fact.
Dr. Akins: So they were designed to make you the perfect killer?
Sergey: I was already the perfect killer doc, they just made me better. *subject beginning to show agitation.
Dr. Akins: I see, I think that is enough for today Sergey.

Subject returned to cell to await further interview
SCP XXXX-1 "Sergey"
Dr. Akins
<Begin Log>
Dr. Akins: Good morning Sergey, today I would like to discuss more about you.
Sergey: Not much to tell doc, but go ahead.
Dr.Akins: First off, what year were you born?
Sergey: 1940
Dr. Akins: So that would make you, let's see, 79 correct?
Sergey: *laughing* Doc, you need to check your math, I'm 56.
Dr. Akins: I assure you Sergey, my math is just fine, it is the year 2019. That would make you 79 years old.
Sergey: 20….19? *subject showing signs of confusion and agitation* That…can't…be right.
Dr. Akins: Sergey, it seems that the extended exposure you've had to SCP XXXX has altered your aging process, not to mention your perception of time itself.
Sergey: …yeah…that makes sense. Honestly I just thought your country was far more advanced than my mother land. Guess that explains why I can't contact the others, they're probably old and senile by now. *subject drifts off and falls silent*
Dr. Akins: I think I have what I need today. The guards will take you back to your cell
