Dr Lupin Phenris

Item #: SCP-••••

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP •••• is to be kept in a concrete room with enough room for 5 male adults to maneuver comftably, with contiguous observation rooms following equal regulations. To prevent the formation of instances of SCP-••••-1 construction materials on exposed surfaces and items brought into either room must possess a reflectance coefficient of 5 or less; personnel entering either room must be subjected to Procedure Drywall.

Observation rooms are to be separated from the containment room by steel grates (alloy with 5 to 10% cobalt (II) oxide), mesh no thinner than 1cm in diameter and openings no more than 5cm in diameter.

At least three (3) armed guards must be present within the observation room at all times. Bullets used in the containment of SCP-•••• must be made of steel (alloy with 5 to 10% cobalt (II) oxide). Should SCP-•••• attempt to tamper with the door or grates in its containment chamber, guards are instructed to open fire, prioritizing SCP-••••'s limbs until neutralized; care must be taken not to damage SCP-••••'s "eyes" during such an event.

Under no circumstance must SCP-•••• be recorded in any visual format, including but not limited to videos, photographs, magnetic resonance images and echography.

Description: SCP-•••• is a sentient humanoid figure approximately 180 centimeters in height, anatomically similar to an adult male, but with no discernible identifying features except a pair of white glowing orbs where its eyes should be. SCP-•••• is composed of a black glassforming liquid, the surface of which is under a constant process of evaporation, the resulting shadowy smoke remains in circulation around SCP-••••'s body and seems to be unaffected by air currents1. The exact composition of SCP-•••• has yet to be determined, as samples taken off of its body quickly evaporate. SCP-••••'s "eyes" emmit light measured to oscillate between 300 and 400 lumen when in an inactive state, and upwards of 1200 lumen while active.

SCP-•••• possesses the capacity to regenerate from extensive damage. As of ◙◙/◙◙/2020, SCP-•••• has been recorded to fully regenerate over the course of ◙ months after being reduced to 2% mass. Incident ••••-1 demonstrated that SCP-••••'s eyes are [REDACTED] and must be kept from harm to prevent further incidents.

SCP-•••• has been noted to remain in an inactive state for periods of time between 3 and 17 days. While inactive, SCP-•••• remains standing motionless and does not react to external stimuli. However, should an instance of SCP-••••-1 be created, SCP-•••• will immediately enter an active state.

Upon recreating the appearance of SCP-••••, such as through video footage, photos or reflections, the surface bearing the depiction of SCP-•••• will become an instance of SCP-••••-1, and an instance of SCP-••••-2 and SCP-••••-3 will be generated within its extra-dimensional space.

Instances of SCP-••••-1 are annomalous surfaces which link the physical space with an extra-dimensional space, originally containing an instance of SCP-•• a seemingly two-dimensional.

Instances of SCP-••••-2 are identical copies of SCP-•••• generated from a depiction of SCP-••••. Instances of SCP-••••-2 become active after a delay of aproximately 10 seconds, time after which the accompanying instance of SCP-••••-3 becomes visible. Instances of SCP-••••-2 are capable of remaining active within an instance of SCP-••••-1, but will most often attempt to leave the subspace through the surface on which the depiction of SCP-•••• was originally generated. When an instance of SCP-••••-2 comes into contact with the surface of SCP-••••-1 from within the subspace, the surface becomes a portal through which the instance of SCP-••••-2 can enter physical space.

Instances of SCP-••••-2 are negative copies of SCP-•••• which remain static within the subspace of their source SCP-••••-1.

Addendum ••••-01:
Due to containment breach on ◙◙/◙◙/2020, SCP-••••'s physical appearance has been stricken from record. All devices and documents containing depictions of SCP-•••• have been recovered and have been disposed of as of ◙◙/◙◙/2020. No further recordings of SCP-••••'s appearance are to be allowed under any circumstance.

Addendum ••••-02:
As of Incident ••••-7, due to a high risk of creation of instances of SCP-••••-1 through exposed bodily fluids, such as tears and mucus, all personnel entering the containment area and annexed observation rooms must subject themselves to Procedure Drywall.
