Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-5473 is to be kept in a locked 6 metre by 6 metre humanoid containment cell at any and all times. The cell must not contain any form of one-way windows as it is largely ineffective against the SCP’s vision. No less than four (4) armed guards are to accompany any personnel who enter SCP-5473’s cell and the cell door must be closed and locked immediately after entry. At all times, SCP-5473 is to be kept in four (4) 1-metre-long wall-mounted chain restraints (one on each limb) when any personnel are present inside the cell. At least two (2) guards are to keep their aim on SCP-5473 at all times when present inside the cell. All armed personnel must be armed with rapid-fire military-grade rifles loaded with ER-57 “Helfire” rounds. Any deviation from these conditions is to be met with immediate disciplinary evaluation.
Description: Moved to Site-19 2009. Origin is currently unknown. Object is animate, sentient and highly aggressive. SCP-5473 is a vaguely humanoid entity roughly 3 metres in height and weighing 2.5 metric tonnes. It’s exterior vaguely resembles that of a human skeleton, although it appears to have features resembling that of machinery and metal armour. SCP-5473 appears to consist entirely out of a metallic substance. Tissue sample tests on to what this material is have all been inconclusive. X-ray scans indicate that no organs or biological matter are present within it’s body. Despite having no mouth, researchers have noted hearing voices from SCP-5473, which have henceforth been classified as object’s own voice. SCP-5473 possesses an immense ability of sight and hearing, although it is unknown whether or not SCP-5473 possesses a sense of smell. It is unknown exactly how old SCP-5473 is, however foundation staff have determined from interviews and speech patterns that SCP-5473 has existed for at least two (2) millennia. Most of the joints present are a type of motorised ball or gear joint, suggesting that SCP-5473 is a mechanical or android-like entity. Despite having a seemingly mechanical nature, SCP-5473 has been found to be in no way related to the GoI-1115 (Anderson Robotics). Multiple sections of SCP-5473 softly glow a fluorescent blue. These sections include the eyes, the “intercostal spaces”, patterns on the “sternum” and patterns on the cheek and cranium. SCP-5473 does not need sustenance or sleep, although it does spend most of it’s time dormant in it’s restraints. SCP-5473 wears only two (2) articles of clothing, a 75 centimetre loin cloth and a 2.5 metre cloak.
SCP-5473 constantly carries a 3 metre long level 4 energy-based weapon that vaguely resembles a farmer’s scythe, henceforth known as SCP-5473-1. Recorded top temperatures of SCP-5473-1’s blade have reached that of 6273.15 Kelvin with recorded lowest temperatures reaching 422 Kelvin. Despite the extremely high temperature of SCP-5473-1, the heat appears to not travel past the range of around five (5) centimetres. The cause of the containment of heat is unknown. All attempts of confiscating SCP-5473-1 have resulted in the instance of SCP-5473-1 rapidly decomposing to non-existence when moving four (4) metres away from SCP-5473. SCP-5473 is capable of not holding instances SCP-5473-1, however the location of the entity is unknown when not held by SCP-5473. When SCP-5473 reproduces SCP-5473-1 for combat purposes, SCP-5473 will pull the entity from behind it’s back. The instance of SCP-5473-1 appears to materialise out of seemingly nowhere, as it can not be seen being stored on SCP-5473’s back. Slow-motion video recordings have all been unsuccessful in determining where SCP-5473-1 is produced from. SCP-5473 possesses advanced combat skills, although the purpose of it’s skill level is unclear. During combat recorded during a containment breach, SCP-5473 has been documented to move and attack with a top speed of 914.4m/s. Upon making contact with sentient life forms, SCP-5473 will begin to rapidly approach the subject, henceforth known as SCP-5473-2. Once SCP-5473 has reached SCP-5473-2, SCP-5473 will violently attack and [DATA EXPUNGED] SCP-5473-2. SCP-5473 will then proceed to submit the still-living SCP-5473-2 to a varying level of surgery. This can range from molecular dissection to ripping out organs with it’s hands. It should be noted that SCP-5473 does not use SCP-5473-1 to aid with the surgery. Upon the expiration of the instance of SCP-5473-2, SCP-5473 will display a noted amount of displeasure with the amount of progress made. When asked what the purpose of the surgeries were, SCP-5473 claimed that it was to ‘see how they work’. It is unclear what is meant by ‘they’, as SCP-5473 contains an unrivalled knowledge of human biology and already knows how the human anatomy performs.
SCP-5473 displays extraordinary regenerative abilities, even being able to return from termination. This information was found during a level 4 containment breach when SCP-5473 was terminated by task force units and reanimated soon after. Tests of SCP-5473’s regenerative abilities have shown that SCP-5473 was able to reanimate and fully reconstruct after having ninety-eight percent (98%) of it’s body. The recorded fastest reanimation speed from sixty-two percent (62%) annihilation is [REDACTED] seconds and the recorded fastest regeneration time from removal of a limb is [DATA REDACTED] seconds. It is currently unknown how SCP-5473’s extraordinary regenerative abilities are possible. Observations have shown that the metal of SCP-5473’s body is able to rapidly fuse back together and regrow severed tissue. Cause of this is unknown. SCP-5473 appears to be able to adapt the consistence and form of it’s body during the periods in which it is terminated. Examples of this include making the materials inside SCP-5473’s body tougher and harder to become impervious to gunfire and growing small ‘shields’ on it’s forearms to protect itself further. Observations show that SCP-5473 can hold a grudge against other creatures. The first recorded instance of this occurred against Dr. ███████. SCP-5473 has shown extraordinary persistence in attempting to terminate the creatures that it bears a grudge on. SCP-5473 possesses a cognitive disabling ability. When SCP-5473 makes eye contact with select personnel, the personnel appear to lose most cognitive ability and will, placing them into a ‘trance’. The effects of SCP-5473’s ability cease after an average of approximately six (6) minutes. It is unknown if the effect can last longer due to lack of testing.
Addendum 5473-04:
During a level 3 containment breach, SCP-5473 escaped it’s cell and began traversing the halls of site-19 with a noted direction to escape. SCP-5473 breached containment at around 0500 in the evening as well as nine (9) other SCPs. During it’s breach, SCP-5473 managed to locate the wounded Dr. ████████ in the eastern wing of the heavy containment zone. Camera footage shown that SCP-5473 asked Dr. ████████ to provide SCP-5473 with knowledge in return for sparing his life. Dr. ████████ refused to answer, however, and managed to escape from SCP-5473’s grasp and run down the hallway. However due to the aforementioned wounds that he sustained, he did not travel far. Seemingly angered, SCP-5473 pinned the staff member onto the floor beneath it’s left foot and began dragging SCP-5473-1’s blade across the floor towards Dr. ████████’s head. Before Dr. ████████ could be terminated, MTF unit Gamma-7 designated “Gate Crashers” discovered both SCP-5473 and Dr. ████████ and opened fire upon SCP-5473 using armour-penetrating rounds fired from rapid-fire two-handed military rifles. SCP-5473 withstood six (6) seconds of sustained fire before attacking. Within [REDACTED] seconds, SCP-5473 managed to advance to and terminate two (2) armed personnel. It’s progress was halted when the remains of Soldier ██████████ fell onto SCP-5473’s leg joints and [DATA EXPUNGED], thus preventing SCP-5473 from moving any closer to the rest of the unit. Due to the lack of movement, SCP-5473 was terminated by concentrated and sustained fire from the surviving members of the unit. SCP-5473’s left arm and right leg was severed by the gunfire, as well as taking heavy damage to the cranium. It should be noted that a number of bullets ricocheted and bounced off of SCP-5473’s body, indicating an incredibly hard surface. Dr. ████████’s wounds were dressed and treated by MTF Combat Medic ██████. Dr. ████████ was then promptly escorted to the surface by Combat Medic ███████ and Soldier ████████, where his wounds were further treated and was punished for his part in the orchestration of the breach. Approximately seven (7) minutes later, after the two MTF members regrouped with the rest of their squad, SCP-5473 fully reanimated. Within less than █ seconds, SCP-5473 delivered over █-hundred-and-forty-two blows with SCP-5473-1, terminating seven (7) of the remaining MTF unit members. Ninety-six percent (96%) of the attacks were directed at two unit members in particular, resulting in the two personnel being reduced to [DATA EXPUNGED]. Combat Medic ███████ was the only survivor of the attack, sustaining a wound across the face. Over the period of around one seventy-five (75) minutes, she managed to reach the surface, where her wounds were treated. SCP-5473 spent around six (6) hours wandering around the heavy containment zone, looking for a method of attack. After testing the functionality of the site elevators, SCP-5473 broke into light containment by breaking through the roof of an elevator compartment and climbed to the elevator doors of the light containment zone, thrusting it’s limbs into the wall of the elevator shaft to form handholds. Approximately ten (10) minutes later, MTF unit Epsilon-11 designated ‘Nine Tailed Fox’ accompanied by Combat Medic ████████ intercepted and terminated SCP-5473, returning it’s remains to containment. During the breach, SCP-5473 was directly responsible for forty-three (43) armed personnel terminations, twenty-seven (27) researcher personnel terminations and fifty-one (51) D-Class personnel terminations, resulting in one-hundred-and-twenty-one (121) personnel casualties and one (1) wounded personnel.
The following interview was carried out seven days after SCP-5473’s containment, during which four (4) D-class personnel and a bovine mammal were dissected and killed. Throughout this time SCP-5473 had made no noted communication at all.

SCP-5473: A research facility, you say? Does that mean that you may provide me with more subjects for my experiments?
Dr. Tyson Experiments? Wait, what? You mean your mutilations?
[more chain rattling can be heard.]
SCP-5473: Do not mock my research, “Doctor”.
Dr. Tyson O-okay, yeah sure… Um, alright, whatever… Can you tell me what is the purpose of your “experiments?”
SCP-5473: To see how they work, of course. And I am so close to my final breakthrough. All I need to do is overcome that last obstacle.
Dr. Tyson Really? What is this “last obstacle”?
SCP-5473: The [DATA EXPUNGED] of course. For a scientist you aren’t very knowledgeable, are you?
Dr. Tyson Do you mind? Sorry, I don’t mean to be rude but you’re calling me stupid even though you believe in such trivial things as the [DATA EXPUNGED]?
[more chain rattling can be heard as SCP-5473 pulls against it’s restraints.]

Closing Statement: Following SCP-5473’s attempt at breaching containment, several armed guards re-entered SCP-5473’s containment cell equipped with spare chains and reattached the restraint to SCP-5473’s arm. SCP-5473 was noted to be docile during the re-containment.
