(Obsolete) Special Containment Procedures(Revision #001): SCP:#### is to be held in a 500 by 500 by 500 cm testing chamber. It's containment chamber is to be constructed with the purest grade of diamond available to ensure maximum hardiness. A bulletproof,bombproof,waterproof and fireproof window made with tempered glass is to be installed in the observation chamber, the window must be equipped with automated titanium shutters to protect personnel in case of the glass breaking.
(Obsolete) Special Containment Procedures(Revision #002):SCP:#### is to be held in an open field in [REDACTED],Russia. Energy Defense Fields are to be deployed over an area of 50km surrounding the target. Bomb Defusal teams must be held at ready in Sites Alpha,Bravo,Charlie,Delta, Echo,Foxtrot and Golf. A perimeter wall designated 'Horizon Facility' is to be the primary research base and should also function as the perimeter wall.Knowledge of SCP:#### is to be made available to any inquisitive personnel regardless of clearance level in order to bring in maximum manpower. All requests pertaining to SCP:####s research are to be granted. All transfers are to be approved.
(Obsolete) Special Containment Procedures(Revision #003): SCP:#### is to be held in an open field in [REDACTED],Russia. Energy Defense Fields are to be deployed over an area of 50km surrounding the target. Bomb Squads and Biohazard Teams must be available within a 20 minute response time of the area and surrounding land via helicopter.Anti-CBRE(Chemical,Biological,Radioactive, Explosive) Defense Installations are to be installed area wide.No less than 500 SAM Sites are to be installed to deflect and or prematurely detonate incoming nuclear weaponry at a range to prevent harm of the object.Research Squads are to set up temporary camps to study SCP:####. Every Research Squad must be accompanied by a team of at least 10 armed personnel with anti-memetic training,carrying automatic weapons to suppress anyone suffering from the effects of SCP:####. No type of weaponry is to be brought in a 500m radius of SCP:#### under threat of termination for fear of damaging the object. All requests pertaining to SCP:####s research are to be granted. All transfers are to be approved. All personnel originating from other friendly and or neutral GOIs are allowed to study the object for maximum manpower. All Foundation resources must be diverted to studying this object.
Special Containment Procedures (Revision #004):SCP:#### is to be held at a location unknown to Foundation personnel. All personnel suffering from Case 1,2 or 2-BETA effects are to be administered Class C amnestics and returned to duty. Personnel suffering from Case 1-ALPHA effects are to be terminated with immediate effect. No further study on the Foundations part is to be authorised until a suitable antimeme is developed by the Global Occult Coalition as per Agreement 2478-C. No knowledge of the SCPs contents are to be disclosed to Foundation personnel until an antimeme is discovered. Personnel attempting to retrieve or research the SCP are to be considered instances and amnestiscised or terminated as the situation warrants.

Description:
SCP:#### is a 150cm by 150cm by 150cm block of granite which is cubical in shape. It was first recovered from rural Texas after a tip off from a then anonymous third party. The granite itself is non-anomalous and appears to be merely an aesthetic choice by the objects creators. On all sides of the cube there are inscriptions from an unknown language. Glyphs strongly resemble inscriptions associated with groups relating to the Scarlet King. As such research is given top priority. Found pinned on the cube is a note made of non-anomalous paper, on it written in an unidentifiable form of Standard English is the message 'This rock holds the secrets of the King' (believed to reference the Scarlet King). The note is non-anomalous and was moved to Non-Anomalous Archival Site #0078.
The glyphs themselves cause a variety of effects on the viewer. The first effect or a Case 1 refers to the effect experienced by non-essential personnel. Non-essential is defined as personnel that cannot call for further assets. Personnel affected immediately begin experiencing a heartfelt belief that the glyphs can be decoded given enough resources. After Case 1 effects have been present for no less than 72 hours, Case 1-ALPHA effects occur. Affected personnel will attempt to kill other personnel or living assets and destroy all equipment via any means possible. Case 2 refers to the effects that Essential personnel experience. Essential is defined as personnel with the capacity or ability to call for further assets. It should be noted that if a person suffering from Case 1 effects gain this ability they can transition to experiencing Case 2 effects for the duration of time they have the ability, this is known as the Case 2-BETA effect.This does not happen to personnel suffering from Case 1-ALPHA effects. Personnel suffering from Case 2 or Case 2-BETA effects will attempt to call in as many assets as possible to continue research, if that is not possible they will instead start experiencing Case 1 effects and work on the project themselves. It should be noted that Case 2 personnel that also suffer from Case 1 effects cannot transition to the Case 1-ALPHA stage likely so as to further perpetuate the memetic hazard, it is also of note that unlike sufferers of the Case 2-BETA effect, personnel with Case 2 effects will continue to have the effect influencing them even if they are no longer able to call for further assets in place of which they will attempt other obviously futile methods of calling in assets such as smoke signals or hand signs to no one in particular. It is of note that SCP:#### possesses the ability to directly influence a subject to immediately become a Case 1-ALPHA instance if it sees fit.
Case 1 effects were initially believed to be simply enthusiasm for research and Case 2 effects simply a worried superior requesting additional support. Case 2-BETA affects were similarly regarded with surbordinate in place of superior. Case 1-ALPHA effects were recognised as a memetic hazard, but incorrectly believed at the time to be SCP:####s defense mechanism.
Further information on this file should not be accessed until all personnel have received the antimeme. An organisation wide safe word will be released in that event.
