Early test of SCP-XXXX in HPEC.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Direct exposure to SCP-XXXX should be limited to a minimum. SCP-XXXX is to be placed within container with no less than 10 cm of lead lining. Container should be kept in Hazardous Materials Storage Area. Level 3 clearance or greater is required to access the object.
All experiments with object must be performed using remote manipulators within shielded containment chamber. Supervision by at least one level 4 researcher is mandatory.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a device, resembling consumer grade milk separator. Device can be disassembled into several parts:
- red cylindrical polymer body with AC motor, power switch and power cable
- 2 spouts of complex construction (each contains several electromagnetic coils, gas-filled tubes, and other unidentified components)
- rotating drum (designated SCP-XXXX-1)
- upper assembly with float valve and bowl
Nameplate shows that device is manufactured by [DATA REDACTED], Ukraine and can be powered by standard 220v 50hz electrical outlet.
SCP-XXXX-1 emits gamma radiation with flux rate not exceeding 12.3 Sv/h at its surface. Multi-spectal analysis suggests presence of superheavy elements in outer shell.
When powered up, liquids of different colors can be observed flowing from the device. Screw can be adjusted within 720 degrees range, to control flow rate.
Addendum XXXX-1: SCP-XXXX was discovered by [DATA REDACTED] during geological survey of [DATA REDACTED] crater, Ukraine. Foundation agents responded to local newspaper's report about the discovery. Exploration site taken under control by MTF Iota-35 "Story Tellers". Witnesses were treated with class A amnestic; cover-up story was put in place. Area around crater is designated as Site-P-19284.
Addendum XXXX-2: Radioisotope dating of polymer body sample performed. Analysis are consistent with geological formations at [DATA REDACTED] crater. Dr █████.
Site-P-19284 has been closely examined by Foundation scientists.
Numerous artifacts were found in Cretaceous–Paleogene boundary layer:
Remains of concrete structures:
Weathered reinforced concrete structures buried in rock. Chemical analysis shows that concrete's chemical composition is similar to modern one.
Petrified remains of presumably humanoid creatures
Well preserved bones and teeth, pieces of clothing and jewelry. Position of remains suggests that creatures died suddenly in catastrophic event.
Various technical artifacts
Mechanical and electronic parts identified at this moment:
- Large hydraulic piston
- Electronic device based on vacuum tube technology, probably door lock
- Test glass
- Large copper wire coil
- Electric motor
- Plastic bottle
Time capsule
Sealed capsule composed of titanium alloy. Multiple sheets of plastic with inscriptions on them are located inside. Meaning of inscription is yet unknown.
