Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a locker at Site-64. Only authorized subjects may interact with SCP-XXX due to the effect it has on subjects who interact with it.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an average sized 3x3x3 Rubik's cube spanning 5.7 centimeters on each of its six faces. SCP-XXXX appears to constantly solve and scramble itself. If someone tries to pick it up the cube will either stay still or will turn its axis fast enough to be dropped, there does not seem to be any relation between the subjects which have the cube drop or are able to hold it.

For the subjects that are able to hold SCP-XXXX most of them do not seem to be able to turn any of the faces without getting burnt on their hands. The burns caused by SCP-XXXX do not appear to have any anomalous properties themselves and fully heal within a week, if the subject keeps their hands on SCP-XXXX and turns the faces anyways, only then will it show anomalous properties in which the subject will temporarily develop alien hand syndrome on both their hands. The Alien Hand Syndrome does not seem to be treatable and the only way to get rid of it is to wait until the burns on the hands heal, which after holding SCP-XXXX for an extended period of time can take anywhere from weeks to months.
Only one subject has been shown to be able to turn SCP-XXXX and not get burnt, after DNA testing it showed that said subject was related to Ernő Rubik, the original creator of the Rubik's cube. Further testing of SCP-XXXX is not required due to not much seen to find out about it.
