Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained at all times in a no less than 6m x 5m x 6m airtight steel cube with sufficient food and water to last one (1) week. The food is to be replaced every seven (7) days, even if none appears to be consumed. Any personnel within range of SCP-XXXX's anomalous capabilities without a full-body atmosphere-containment suit are to be delivered to the Site-██ medical bay to receive Class-B amnestics. SCP-XXXX's containment cell is currently located in the ████████ Desert, away from any other creatures. In the event of a containment breach, all personnel currently in Site-██ are to immediately don a full-body atmosphere-containment suit and await further instructions.

Description: SCP-XXXX has the appearance of a large, furless ursus americanus, or black bear, with a slight purple tinge and luminous yellow eyes. SCP-XXXX has proved to be hostile towards humans, but will not attempt to breach containment unless lured, hypnotised or otherwise provoked. SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties are revealed when its nourishment levels decline significantly enough to warrant what has been dubbed a "Hunt." Following sufficient decline, SCP-XXXX will attempt to release a frequency wave that can permeate any known material, with a range of up to 100m. Any live animal (including humans) within this perimeter will enter a trance-like state and within one (1) minute of the wave's release will attempt to locate and enter SCP-XXXX's containment cell, where they will then be killed and then either discarded or eaten. If the prey is unable to reach SCP-XXXX's cell, they will snap out of the trance after 20 minutes. These Hunt events have a significant chance of triggering a containment breach, in which case personnel are to observe the instructions listed in the Containment Procedures.

Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX, proper containment is impossible. However, SCP-XXXX has reacted with compliance with Foundation requests and is permitted to move around certain specified areas of Site-██. Nevertheless, SCP-XXXX is pseudo-contained in a standard Humanoid Anomaly Containment Cell in Site-██.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a Caucasian male, believed to be 14 years old and with light brown hair. Subject’s proper name is Tobias ████████. SCP-XXXX’s anomalous properties begin to manifest at random intervals that have been observed ranging from ten (10) minutes to twelve (12) days, but appear to be more frequent at shorter periods of time. When one of these intervals is over, SCP-XXXX will completely disappear from sight, infrared and conventional cameras and motion detection software. While in this state, SCP-XXXX is fully aware of what is happening, and is able to move around at a speed on par with his usual pace. Subject also has the ability to move through liquid and solid matter as if it did not exist. SCP-XXXX appears to have no control over when he vanishes, and indeed has several times expressed annoyance at his anomalous properties manifesting while the subject was in the middle of doing something. SCP-XXXX was discovered on 20██/██/██ at ██████████ when CCTV footage captured a boy appearing and disappearing over a one (1) week period. Foundation agents were called in, posing as local police, when a possible SCP was located.

Addendum XXXX-01: SCP-XXXX breached temporary containment on 20██/██/██. CCTV cameras pictured SCP-XXXX disappearing from inside the temporary containment cell and reappearing forty-six (46) minutes later inside a high-security corridor housing Keter-class objects. Subject was retrieved by an on-site security team soon after, and explained to about simple object classes and security clearance.

Addendum XXXX-02 Experiment Log: SCP-XXXX was asked to, when the change took effect, pass through several barriers formed of various materials, such as glass, reinforced concrete, lead-lined steel and hydrochloric acid, the latter of which was contained within two (2) sheets of reinforced glass. Subject reported no resistance with any of the experiments. Further testing has been authorised, but due to the sporadic nature of SCP-XXXX’s anomalous properties, this has yet to be carried out.
