Item#- 4204
Class- Euclid
SCP-4204 is stored in a small testing room in the facility with access to a small testing area off the left side. Any testing must be approved by Level 4/4204-S personnel.
upon conclusion of testing, SCP-4204 must be returned to it's chamber.
Description: SCP-4204 is a small barrette that shifts it's decorations for who's holding it. SCP-2404 prefers soft objects, and if it's put down on anything that is not soft or able to be soft, it vibrates loudly. Thus, it's chamber has a soft blanket in the middle of the room SCP-2404 is required to be returned to. When picked up, there are two responses. If picked up by someone who has no history of child abuse or has helped children before, the barrette sends a feeling of calm throughout the entire body. Researchers who have no past of child abuse and/or have helped children before and have picked up or put on this barrette report the whispering of a child, though the child seems to only whisper compliments. If someone with a past of child abuse picks up or puts on SCP-4204, they report throbbing headaches and injuries that stop at about the height of a five-year-old child.
Discovery: SCP-2404 was discovered in [DATA EXPUNGED] in a child's bedroom. This child, named [DATA EXPUNGED], has not showed signs of any abuse by a parental figure or guardian. When asked where they got SCP-4204, [DATA EXPUNGED] responded that their five-year-old imaginary friend gave it to them as a birthday gift.
Experiment 4204-01: Dr. N█████████, in an attempt to test how it would change in reaction to different people, put up a camera inside it's chambers. They sent a robotic 'arm' to pick up the Barrett, where it turned into a solid block of iron. Once put down on the blanket, SCP-2404 morphed into the shape of a small butterfly with different types of gems inside it.
Experiment 4204-02: Dr. N█████████ brought in a prisoner convicted with child murder and child abuse from death row and watched the reactions with the installed camera. The second he picked up SCP-2404, he fell down screaming and wounds started to appear on his body. SCP-2404 personnel quickly removed the prisoner from the testing room, and SCP-2404 fell to the floor. It started to buzz loudly until personnel put it back onto the blanket. The buzzing stopped and the prisoner refused to try again.

Class--Safe
Special Containment Procedures: After any and all testing,SCP-38996 must be returned to Locker-██. Access is Available to Clearance 2 personnel.
Description: SCP-38996 is a small notebook with a blue cover and the words 'Amber McLisal' in gold lettering on the side in Time's New Roman font. When opened, the first page states 'My name is Amber, ask me a question.' The rest of the pages are blank. There seems to be no obvious effects at first, but writing anything down will gain a response that appears in childish handwriting. The handwriting looks to be of a child around the age of 10. If asked about Amber McLisal's location, the book ceases communication.
Discovery: In a library located in [DATA EXPUNGED] the main librarian stated that it was left there by a 12-13 year old with orange hair and green eyes about two years ago. The librarians that first wrote in the book claim to have only received the response 'Who are you?' to everything they wrote. The SCP Foundation confiscated SCP-38996. All efforts to find the girl who left the book have failed.
