Special Containment Procedures: SCP-Ω is to be kept in a 2 ft x 2 ft x 2 ft titanium box at Site-█ and is to be only opened with the approval of an 05 Council member.
Description: SCP-Ω is a chained 2 cm x 2 cm gold omega symbol that when touched and released transports the individual to a temple in another dimension. From there, the individual can walk out of the temple into a jungle that is currently being explored by the SCP Foundation. From there, to return to our dimension hold and release the omega symbol twice. Currently, SCP-Ω has only been used ten times for research purposes, yet the 05 Council has recently requested that an expedition into the jungle be commenced at once.
SCP-Ω was discovered in Crete, Greece in the year 1899 by Professor ██████ ██████ and has been carbon dated to be ██████ years old, this dates it to the Minoan Civilization. During testing, acid that could melt gold was accidentally spilled over SCP-Ω yet the acid did nothing to SCP-Ω suggesting that the material of SCP-Ω is not gold. Dr. ███████ █████████ and Dr. ███ ███████ performed a test to identify what material SCP-Ω is made out of, further testing is required.
There also seems to be a connection with SCP-3989 in which an individual stayed during dark hours and witnessed a similar event to SCP-3989 suggesting SCP-Ω and SCP-3989 are related in some way. Coincidentally a researcher that worked on SCP-3989 was the researcher who witnessed the event.
Further exploration and testing is required for SCP-Ω and SCP-3989.
