Special Containment Procedures:Must be placed in a 4 meter by 4 meter room with reinforced glass and and clearance level of 3+ that goes for testing too must be in heavy containment. Absolutely no arm of any dead or alive personnel should be shown in front of SCP-4978 it will rage and think that is their arm it can break the door down with it's one arm if breached containment put reinforced belts around the arm w/ lower torso and the upper arm w/chest.

Description:SCP-4978 is seen as a normal sized "person",wearing rags with blood on his hand and where the other arm is supposed to be,red(natural not dyed),and a blindfold with [REDACTED] on it. The recommended gun is a P90 or Honeybadger.

• Usually it won't mind if an Unarmed is in with it like D-class.
• Not hostile nor peaceful but docile if you attack it will react I highly recommend not shooting at it.
• It's behavior is similar to The "Shy Guy" -minus you can look at him- it runs quickly breaks doors down
• Unlike Shy Guy while running he never screams.

Note:will only run away if shot a lot.

This was the test that I did with a D-class and Security:
Dr Nebulae:"This should go right if done correctly"

D-Class:"Sure hope it does"

As I let him in something triggered SCP-4978 and attacked which should've never happened.

I and the Security ran away from the scene.
