Dormant instances of SCP-XXXX growing in the wild.

Special Containment Procedures: All Instances of SCP-XXXX are to be contained within a greenhouse of at least 7m x 5m with easy access to water. Temperature must range between 20-30℃. Each dormant instance of SCP-XXXX must receive about 2.5 cm of water every seven days, and routinely checked for withering. Any dormant instances of SCP-XXXX must not be touched by hand.
Only four (4) active instances are allowed to exist within containment at a time. Any instances of SCP-XXXX discovered outside of containment are to be terminated and incinerated.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a fruit-bearing plant originally discovered in South America, named Fructus Loqui. The plant seems to be a close relative of the Ananas Comosus, commonly known as a pineapple, sharing many traits with the respective plant.
When dormant, SCP-XXXX appears to be an ordinary fruit-bearing plant, but once an instance becomes active, the fruit it has produced manifests small upper and lower appendages, as well as optics and an oral cavity, then quickly detaches itself from its plant. Active instances are sentient and capable of basic motor functions, and vocalization, but have so far displayed below-average intelligence, with the highest IQ recorded being 67. Instances also demonstrate several symptoms consistent with Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, such as the inability to pay attention during tests and interviews and spontaneous bursts of excitement.
While dormant instances of SCP-XXXX survive via photosynthesis and absorbing nutrients through their roots, active instances receive nutrients via nearly-microscopic fibers that develop within their oral cavities that have a similar function to root hairs. This change is caused by a sudden and rapid mutation immediately after its oral cavity has manifested. Active instances are able to reproduce by breaking off stalks of their “crowns” and scattering them across fertile soil. These stalks have not shown any anomalous properties.
Active instances of SCP-XXXX tend to act very friendly and cheerful at most times, but will occasionally become extremely violent, attacking anyone in their vicinity with any method they have, including using nearby objects as weapons. Injuries sustained from SCP-XXXX are usually only enough to subdue it’s target, with only about 8% of injuries ending in death.
