Description:

[ KTE- is a gateway connecting to other realities, in the shape of a wooden door located in the first floor of Hotel Gasthof in ████████, Austria. The gateway spontaneously switches between active and inactive. In active state, the gateway connects to a reality containing a civilization with similar technology level compared with the baseline reality (our reality). In active state, the gateway remains locked. The active state of the gateway can be determined by a continuous bright EVE emission, which can be observed by VERITAS. Passing through the active gateway is lethal to any biological entities. The gateway turns to inactive after the performance of the Courtesy Protocol, and returns active after uncertain amount of time (from days to years).

The gateway itself is immune to all known external forces.]

Rules of Engagement:
[ KTE- is considered No Threat. Idle operative units are on rotation to be assigned on garrison at Hotel Gasthof. Minimum area around the gateway is locked down, without interfering the ordinary commercial activities in the hotel. Automatic surveillance system is in used to monitor the gateway’s EVE emission and issue warning notice to resident unit accordingly.
The resident unit will be assigned with a briefcase containing five flasks of Grey Earl. Such briefcase shall be accounted back to inventory at the end of each rotation. Grey Earl is extremely toxic in earth atmosphere. Opening the flasks is forbidden.]
