Item #: SCP-XXXX The Protector
Object Class: Euclid Thaumiel [see report of incident CB_███]
Note: Throughout this document SCP-XXXX may be refered as Protector, Guard 1, unit Epsilon „Echo_1” or Jack (only by researchers during interrogations and/or meetings).
Special Containment Procedures: Due to lack of knowledge about SCP-XXXX and staffs inability to communicate with them, as well as no way to further analize the subject it is to be contained in standard Humanoid Containment cell Type 3.
The object is to be transferred to a modified Type 4 Humanoid Containment Cell containing a workshop with a set of standard mechanical tools, a small library, a server room and an empty rooms used for teleporting from one facility to another[further explanation in description]. Due to its mostly passive nature and extreme value to Foundation the subject is allowed to walk around the Site ██, however it must be monitored at all times when outside of it’s containment cell.
Subject has been reported to become aggressive when irriated, be it due to failure in doing any task given or taken by SCP-XXXX or lack of respect from facility staff. Guard 1 is to be left alone during duration of this event and, if possible, lavender aerosol is to be delivered into subjects containment cell and classical music is reccomended to be played as a mean to calm SCP-XXXX down.
In an event of Echo_1 entering his aggressive state during recontainment operation, protocol „Friendly Fire” is to be engaged. Protector is to be shot from a 12 Gauge shotgun, preferably a SPAS-12, in the chest and the back simultaneously. This action will engade the joint lock in subjects Protective Suit and administer tranqualizer. If deemed necessary by the Squad Leader step two might be engaged, a single shot from a .357 Magnum calliber hangun or revolver in the head. This action will anesthetize Guard 1 and activate the AI autopilot. The Suit will now continue the mission of recontainment and, once completed, return to XXXXs containment cell. The anesthesia will wear off approximately █ hours after administration, but may be injected again if SCP-XXXX does not return to it’s pasive nature after regaining conciousness.
All establishments must posses a containment cell designed in a similar way as the original one in Site ██, as Guard 1 may be transfered to other Facilities when a potential Containment Breach may or already occured, either my Transportation Team or the subject himself.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid creature masuring at 1.84 m in height and 75 kg in weight. Contrary to it’s apperance, being skinny and not very muscluar, the subject show incredible physical strengh, being able to lift up to ██ tons of weight, capable of achieving speed of over ██ km/h and whistanding preassure of over █████ hPa [the Mark I Protective Suit further increases these strenghts]. SCP-XXXX has been noted to have many scars all over its body, including the back, hands, thighs and stomach.
While it’s not yet been proven, it is specualted that the subject is capable of whistanding extreme damage to its body, as seen both in records of facility monitoring and visual conformation from MTF squad Epsilon 11, during incident CB_███.
The subject has been noted to often create and modify many everyday items, from provided scrap metal, spare electronic parts and broken equipment given to the subject. Any and all objects created or modified by SCP-XXXX, including SCP-XXXX-1, are to be studied and, if necessary, stored in Standard Anomalous Object Storage Room and given a designation of SCP-XXXX-#.
If an object created by SCP-XXXX is found to be of extraordinary usefulness to Foundation personel, be it science personel or MTF Units, the O5 council may consider making an appointment with the subject to discuss a potential mass production of previously mentioned equipment [see addendum XXXX-5 „Anti-Anomalous Vest” ].
Additionally, subject shows teleportation abilities and passing through solid material, however claims he will not use them, unless ordered to do so or deems them neccesary to use. As the object says during one of the auditions:
„Oh yeah, I could do that. Just, poof, and I’m out of this place. But I’m not going to do that, you guys already have a lot on your head, I don’t want to add to your problems. Unless you ask me to do so, or it’ll save somone. But other than that, no. Well, maybe if you force me to as well, I’m keen on being treated like a convict. I’ll behave for as long as you respect me. I hope it’s fair, because that’s the only way it can be. Unless you want to play cat and mouse.”
Subject describes both of these abilities during an intrview:
Could you please describe how your transportation abilities work?
They kinda complement each others disadvantages. While the material passing is good for quick entering a room that’s nearby it’s kinda useless in further travel and requires a lot of focus on dematerialisation of specific body parts. If I do all of them I just sink. Teleportation on the other hand is fantastic for long distance travels. But to make it possible I have to know how the place I teleport into looks like, otherwise it just won’t work. It doesn’t have to be exactly identical to how I imagine or remeber it, but the more differences there are the riskier it is. I once forgot that one room had a table in the middle and I got stuck in it. I got out quickly thanks to the matter passing, but it hurt like hell when my matter almost merged with the tables. I actually passed out after I got out. So yeah the rooms I teleport into I have to remember.
So you lied about being able to escape in an istance?
No, I still afterall remember many places I used to live in. My old home, the school I used to attend.
I can just get out of here if I want to. But I don’t want to. That’s the point, doctor. I want to help
you, just as you want to help the world.
Guard 1 may use these abilities for quick transportation to other facilities that require help with a containment breach or request permission to test SCP-XXXX, hence the requirement for the similarity of on-site containment cells in all facilities.
In an event of a containment breach, subjects cell will automatically unlock, to allow them easier acces to both its protective equipment and armaments, as well as allowing him to proceed with recontainment of any runaway SCPs.
