Item #: SCP-5032

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Item 5032 is contained within a 7x7 meter concrete containment cell located in Site-14, Research Unit-B. SCP-5032 is to wear a Class-D Shock Collar, while under immense surveillance. One CCTV camera is installed within the North-East corner of the containment cell. Personnel reviewing security footage are to write down their thoughts and observations from the security footage. They're then to be immediately sentenced to a psychological evaluation. Two reinforced 32 by 80 inch titanium doors are present, both remotely locked with high-powered magnets, and monitored by no fewer than two armed security guards. Clean-up procedures include sedating SCP-5032 into a fortified 1.5x2.5 meter cage while three D-class personnel enter SCP-5032's containment cell. Personnel are instructed to incinerate feces and check for breaches. No one is permitted to enter the containment cell, unless permitted by Dr. Redmund, Officer █████, or 05-██. Anyone entering the cell are to enter through the first door, after which the locks will re-engage. A fail-safe is present within the door system that prevents both doors being opened at once. Once the second door opens, personnel will be instructed to proceed. Failure to obey will result in immediate termination by Chlorine Gas through gas valves in the containment cell.

Description: SCP-5032 is a deformed humanoid standing at 1.93 meters, with an abnormally extensive frontal-bone and missing mandible section. SCP-5032 shares attributes with human ancestry, but lacks basic speaking comprehension. DNA samples of SCP-5032 blood and tissue were taken and analyzed, results show 27% genotype similarity with Homo Erectus, with the remainder not matching any species the foundation has on file. The object can camouflage with its local environment if it must hide or stalk. SCP-5032 has an appetite of eating glass and [REDACTED] towards humans, remaining nothing but garments or clothing worn by the individual. While SCP-5032 surrounds its prey in psychological discomfort, the object is docile until it must feed, and has been documented to be able to survive up to 120 days without needing to eat. SCP-5032 doesn't have any respiratory system, making it immune to lethal gasses or toxic wastes. First sightings of SCP-5032 were reported in ██████, Spain on December 13th, 19██. It took the foundation almost ██ years to capture this object. SCP-5032 appears to be capable of long distance travel, by some unknown means. SCP-5032 has an obsession of stalking its prey through windows, documented as long as 28 days, by tapping on the window, banging on it, or even eating the glass from it. Upon catching the attention of whomever it would be seeking, it would usually stay in place until the person(s) checked the window. Documented from most confrontations with SCP-5032 prior to its capture by the foundation, it would usually get into the house by ripping a window off from the walls of the house or installment. In some cases, SCP-5032 would pull its victim through the window. SCP-5032 shows no regard for any entrance but windows, even if the front door were to be unlocked. Based off the foundation's record of tracking the object before its capture, it was counted that SCP-5032 had [REDACTED] 32 people throughout the ██ years since its first sighting, 19 grown men, 6 children, and 7 women. Their disappearances would be covered up by the foundation, and Class-A amnestics were administered to any witnesses of SCP-5032.

Addendum 5032.1: Discovery
The Foundation was contacted by ██████ authorities after several unexplained disappearances and reported sightings of what residents claimed to be an 'alien' peering through windows. 05 council authorized MTF-Unit-█ 'Glacias' to investigate and trace the being. SCP-5032 was tracked from ██████, Spain to █████████-█████, Regional Park. Glacias caught up with SCP-5032, seen in the act of eating glass from a window in a small log cabin. UH-60 Black Hawk utilized search lights from the air while Glacias searched on foot, but neither captured the entity.

Addendum 5032.2: Initial Recovery
We stopped receiving sightings and reports after our near miss of SCP-5032, until all of the sudden we received a report from ███████, Michigan. MTF-Unit-█ 'Glacias' was once again dispatched, and tracked SCP-5032 all the way to ███████, Illinois where an image was taken of SCP-5032 was taken with a digicam by a resident of ███████ apartments. The camera was confiscated and the resident was administered amnestics after a brief interview. SCP-5032 attempted to flee again but was captured, found camouflaging in a bush.

Interviewer: Doctor Redmund

Interviewed: Johnson ███████

Foreword: Doctor Redmund decided to interview Johnson ███████, an apartment resident who took a snapshot of SCP-5032 and almost had a close-call with it, in an attempt to get a more understanding of what it is.

<Begin Log, 17:24:05>

Dr. Redmund: (Coughs) Alright, Mister ███████, do you mind repeating what you just said, for the recorder… that is if you don't mind, of course.

Johnson ███████: Yea… yea- no, of course. (Clearly disturbed) I kept hearing strange tapping noises for almost two weeks now, but then it went from tapping, to scratching. From scratching, to banging. From banging to- (Suddenly goes quiet)

Dr. Redmund: Please, continue on your experience. Elaborate as much as possible.

Johnson ███████: Sorry, just had goosebumps for a second there. I went to the bar with my buddies a few nights ago and I have a cleaning lady who usually lets herself in to tidy things up, (Sighs) and she calls me to tell me that there's a hole in my window, and tells me that someone might've broken in. I come home as quick as possible, shit-faced from the bar, and look around, but nothing is missing. Stranger yet, there were no glass shards around the window.
Dr. Redmund: (Whispers to colleague) Fast forward to when you took the picture with this camera. (Pauses, then sets a digicam in front of Johnson)
Johnson ███████: (Stays silent, staring at the camera) Uhh… yeah, yesterday night to be exact, I heard those noises again, but this time it was loud banging, louder than previously before. I was startled, so I picked up the camera, crawling my way to the window where it was coming from. I had started to call the authorities at this time, so I figured I would get a picture of the mother f*cker doing this. I jumped up and surprised it by the flash, but then.. (Suddenly goes quiet once again)
Dr. Redmund: Mister ███████, stay with me here, stay focused.
Johnson ███████: He.. whatever the.. whatever it was, it [REDACTED]. It was just standing there, staring at me. I've never seen anything so.. just.. I can't, I'm done with this interview.
Dr. Redmund: (Sighs) What a shame, Mister ███████, such a shame indeed.
<End Log, [17:27:53]>

Closing Statement: Johnson ███████ had started to begin to show unusual and very spastic behavior after the interview had ended, and started speaking of [REDACTED]. He was immediately administered amnestics after starting to get passive aggressive towards Dr. Redmund for insisting on more information. Redmund believes that Johnson wasn't telling him something.

Addendum 5032.3: Observation Log
SCP-5032 was placed into a temporary containment chamber in Site-██, shortly after its initial recovery. SCP-5032 spent most of its day pacing around the containment chamber, until it just started staring at the camera for 45 hours straight. Throughout the time of SCP-5032 staring at the camera, it appeared to have been trying to do its own sign language with its hands. SCP-5032 was seen attempting to communicate with foundation staff, request for a translator has been made. SCP-5032 appears to show physical strength despite its fragile state, attempting to destroy the containment doors. Containment Procedures are being revised, extraction of the object will commence soon.

Side note: SCP-5032 appears to have instinctive intelligence, it can make certain hand gestures to signal its state of mind or based on other emotional criteria.

Observational Log 5032.OL.1 SUMMARY

Subject: SCP-5032

Preface: A test subject (D-45932) was taken and introduced into SCP-5032 temporary containment unit. D-45932 was given a standard clipboard with sign-language gestures, translated by Dr. ███████. D-45932 was instructed by lead researcher, Dr. Redmund over an intercom to enter the containment chamber and recreate the hand-gestures on the clipboard towards SCP-5032.

Observation Notes: Upon entering the containment chamber, D-45932 appeared as if he did not see SCP-5032. SCP-5032 stood still in the blind spot of his vision, staring at him. D-45932 appeared startled upon noticing the entity. D-45932 would attempt to recreate the hand gestures on the clipboard he was given. SCP-5032 would begin to spiral around D-45932, until he peered up and noticed SCP-5032 wasn't present in front of him. D-45932 was terminated by SCP-5032 through lethal strangulation. SCP-5032 would begin to [REDACTED], leaving no trace of D-45932, except the clipboard and D-45932's jumpsuit.

D-7953 was dispatched into the cell armed with a taser to recover the clipboard and jumpsuit. Worth note is D-7953's crude remark upon entering the cell. "It smells like something is burning right now, like it's really hot in here." D-7953 started showing signs of being unsettled and was sent to debrief. D-7953 was terminated 45 minutes later for attempting to reach for Sergeant Officer █████ ███████'s holstered pistol.

Incident Report 5032-A
<BEGIN LOG>
9:22AM on 02:██:99, SCP-5032 was to be transferred to Site-██ for proper containment protocols. Doctor Redmund requested MTF Unit-█ 'Glacias' assistance considering their experience with the item.

[Fast forward 3 hours later]

A fortified 1.5x2.5 meter containment cage was prepared for SCP-5032. Corporal Thomas Angerson was reviewing the CCTV footage from last night of SCP-5032's containment cell before extraction. Sergeant ████████ reported that the Corporal had started whispering to himself and noted how unsettled he was. Sergeant instructed the Corporal to go to debrief but insisted he was fine.

[5 minutes had passed, extraction was ready]

12:27PM on 02:██:99, Upon the release of the chamber door, Corporal Thomas Angerson shot Sergeant ████████ point-blank and proceeded to fire upon the rest of the MTF Unit, screaming maniacally. SCP-5032 would escape and proceed to [REDACTED] the rogue Corporal. SCP-5032 [REDACTED] Corporal ████ ███████, Private ██████ ████, and Lieutenant ███████ ████.

12:29PM, Doctor Redmund locks himself in the observation room and declares containment breach.
<END LOG>

"Delta 55 was assigned to the immediate containment breach, along with survivors from MTF Unit-█ 'Glacias'."

"Do you mind explaining to me how in the hell this happened?"

"Thomas checked the CCTV footage and he must've lost it, I have no reference on what he saw but I'll never forget the look in his eyes as he gunned down my unit."

<BEGIN LOG>
12:53PM, Delta 55 moves in on the last known location of SCP-5032 in the facility. Discarded researcher coats are present in the hallways. Delta 55 were armed with X34p Electro-Shock Rifles under the request of Doctor Redmund to capture SCP-5032 alive. SCP-5032 was tracked into Sector-██ Maintenance Halls, [REDACTED] Researcher ███████ ███████. SCP-5032 was stunned, captured, and extracted out of the site.
<END LOG>

Closing Statement:
Site Director and 05 are starting to put the pieces together on what went down at the containment chamber. Footage proves their suspicions as true, one of the Corporals went rogue and shot the Sergeant dead. Upon questioning the sole survivors of MTF Unit-█ 'Glacias' they mentioned the Corporal checking the CCTV camera footage for the cell before going AWOL. Doctor Redmund was ordered to recover the footage from the mainframe observation room, discovering that it had been deleted by the Corporal. No one is allowed to access security footage without OUR permission, and must be diagnosed amnestics afterwards. This cannot happen again.

Addendum 5032.4.: 05-██ has issued the following notice against further experimentation.

Let us remind personnel that SCP-5032 is a psychologically manipulative being, and has proven to be dangerous to interact with in any sort of manner, even with the present-day containment procedures in place. Doctor Redmund reported hearing 'voices' coming from inside SCP-5032's containment cell, despite its ability to physically speak. Experimentation related to SCP-5032 is prohibited until further notice.
