Prologue

I was only three years old when the Sol Incident occurred. I've lived in a world of darkness; no light to look up to for hope. You know that stereotypical concept of divine Light shining down upon you, giving you foreknowledge and wisdom? Opening your eyes?

It doesn't exist anymore. Gone in a blink. At the time, I probably thought my parents were angry at the TV, since they were yelling at it for days straight, watching constant pictures of global chaos.

God knows when death is coming. It might be His grand master plan to wipe humanity out and start over. Honest, I wouldn't have much of an issue with that considering the way people are, scavenging like animals, stealing and killing one another. I just wonder why He didn't start over in the first place.

All I know is that the Bible has a solution for every problem, even this one: trust in Him, and keep on living in a world without the Sun.

Basic Rules

The Keep Us Under canon tells the story of events after the "Sol Incident," which occurred at 6:54 PM UTC on June 5, 2020. In this incident, the moon spontaneously exploded; 8 minutes later the Sun vanished from the sky, and the solar system was set on a tangent path to interstellar space. Because of this incident, photosynthesis stops, herbivore creatures die, and surface temperatures drop to 0 C in the first week, -100 C in the first year.

The Foundation reveals itself to scrambling governments and leads the effort to keep humanity alive in underground colonies. This canon isn't Ad astra; the Foundation has no plans to leave Earth.

As for the Foundation's size and technological advancements: they are small. Only a dozen or so sites exist, and most of them exist in places where geothermal energy is not available.

There's no specific genre you have to follow. Action, romance, horror…it's all acceptable, given the story aligns with the universe's rules.
