SCP-4827

Item#: SCP-4827

Object class: Euclid Thaumiel

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4827 is to be securely fastened to a steel 3 meters x 3 meters 2 inch thick wall. Two (2) Site Guards must giving SCP-4827 constant attention while observing changes in movement and placement in SCP-4827 in case of triggering its anomalous reaction. In case of a containment breach onsite personnel are to follow OE-protocol.

Description: SCP-4827 is a purple and pink translucent childlike humanoid entity. The object requires intense treatment and attention to suite its needs. SCP-4827 is regularly docile, only occasionally making small slivering movements. SCP-4827 appears to be in a deep sleep when it is not active. SCL-4827 may occasionally begin giggling for an unknown reason. This is to be considered normal and personnel should not divert from their current stance to not activate SCP-4827’s anomalous ability.

SCP-4827 requires intense and consistent attention or it will activate. When SCP-4827 activates, it will produce a high-pitched deafening cry and it will gain much more strength. usually reaching about 110 decibels. The crying lasts from 2-3 minutes, there is no change in pitch or decibels. Those around SCP-4827 when it activates will experience intense paranoia and guilt. After SCP-4827 concludes its crying, the people affected will fall unconscious and in approximately 1 minute, they will be terminated by SCP-4827.

SCP-4827 will only deactivate if it’s attention is regained. If SCP-4827 is not deactivated, over time it’s cry will spread further and further out for others to hear. SCP-4827’s cry can reach a maximum of 9 miles away from itself before no longer expanding. SCP-4827’s cry makes animals fall unconscious but does not terminate them. It is not known why this happens.

Addendum 4827.1

SCP-4827 has been reclassified to Thaumiel because of its ability to contain other anomalous entities within its cry range without terminating them. It is unknown why anomalous entities are not terminated with SCP-4827’s cry.
