An Inescapable Shadow
It is an ordinary day within the Foundation, staff at their duties and no breaches. Although something was very wrong very very wrong, a [DATA EXPUNGED] task force had discovered something that shouldn't exist or ever happen. A breach of SCP-001 files was made at approximately ██:██:██ the operatives had traced the file breach back to Site-██ at the O5 Offices. All members of the council were present within 5 days before and after the breach of files. This information was reported to the Founder and this caused for initiation of Protocol:FSL, No DATA of the SCP-001 file made it out of the Foundation however all Personnel were administered Class-A amnestic excluding members of the O5 Council. Duties resumed as normal but some of the Council haven't being showing up to meetings and the Administrator doesn't know why on top of that O5-█ was not seen at any Sites or by Alpha-1 operatives.This called just so happened to catch the attention of him…the Founder the one who started it all. At exactly ██:██ on ██████████ the ██ a meeting was called by the Founder. Only half of the O5 Council showed including the Administrator this wasn't right the Founder began to get suspicious and outraged.
Founder:"What..why is only half of you here? where are the others?"
The Founder proceeds to pull an odd looking device, he flips a switch and scans his finger prints immediately after he mutters [DATA EXPUNGED]The Founder then places the device on the table leaving the O5 Council with question yet none wished to ask all in fear of what it may have been, So too was the Administrator curious and unknowing of the device.
Founder:"You are probably wondering about what it is I aren't you, you lot?"
O5-█:"Well sir it's just I think I speak for majority of us that are present when I say that we would like to know"
Founder:"Hm well you see even at the level of Administrator your not cleared for everything."
The members in the room all shocked and surprised as to what the Founder had just said look around the room glancing at each other with puzzled and confused looks
Administrator:"I'm sorry sir but what do you mean?"
Founder:"What I mean is that I may as well utilize them now for what is going on"
Administrator:"What..what do you mean? What's going on!? I wa-"
The Administrator is cut off on his mass of questions to the Founder as the lights go dark and nobody can see a thing the O5 Council and Administrator begin to panic not knowing what is going on.
Mass of Voices in the room:"WHAT IS GOING ON!? WHAT'S HAPPENING!? ALPHA-1 GET IN HERE!"
The lights turn back on and behind and in front of the Administrator are 7 standing people armed to the teeth they wore all black uniforms with body armour and utility with grenades holders and ammo pouches they wore a helmet with a mask that had an unknown design along with advanced NV goggles IRF lights and helmet torches, The eye sockets of the masks were glowing red they wore an unknown symbol and had Overwatch Task Force written on the base of the skull area of their body armour. They had a custom and heavily modified Assault Rifle with what appeared to be some sort of grenade launcher on the underarm of the barrel. The men all had a different ensignia on the sides of their helmets each unique to their code names.
Founder:"These men are the best the Foundation has all of them handpicked by myself from multiple departments due to their unique skills so to say. These are [DATA EXPUNGED] they are otherwise my personnel Hit Squad per say, You will notice I didn't use the words "Task Force" no that is not how I see them and that was a deliberate choice of words on my end."
Whispering is heard around the room with both the O5s and Administrator baffled at the change in events so far. The Founder raises his and and makes a fist, the operatives then proceed to each grab an O5 and then escort them to [DATA EXPUNGED] for interrogation the Administrator is taken along with them but for observation. A Class-A amnestic is then used on the O5s and they are separated from one another each within their own furbished cell. O5-█ is taken first for interrogation he is blinded and escorted by [DATA EXPUNGED] operatives to an interrogation room where the Founder is present and waiting guarded by 2 [DATA EXPUNGED] Operatives. The O5 is forced into the chair and unblinded.
Founder:"Good evening or mourning or maybe even day who knows well I do and so do they, everyone but you does and it will stay that way until I get what I need. I intend to get what I need O5-█ Do you understand?"
O5-█:"Yes sir I do and I will comply"
Founder:"Of course you will as well..we are beyond ethics now. [DATA EXPUNGED] I want everything from here to the end of these interrogations EXPUNGED to my clearance only."
The [DATA EXPUNGED] operatives left the room and no further Data can be recovered on the matter. Approximately a week after interrogations the remaining O5 Council were called for a meeting when the unthinkable had happened the Chaos Insurgency had breached Site-██ it came to the attention that they were being lead by O5-6 and all personnel within Site-██ that did not agree to join the Chaos Insurgency were executed by those who wished to become Chaos Insurgents and a message was left by O5-6.The message was found by MTF Alpha-9 operatives whom were dispatched to
Site-██ after hearing the tape themselves they reported it and sent it to the Administrator. Upon hearing this the Founder was contacted.The Founder listened to the message and determined it was O5-6s voice the same O5 who was in their office most frequintly during the time period ██:██:██
when the files were breached. The tape was listened to once again:
O5-6:"Dear Administrator, I would of happily waited a little longer until you were at the site where I would be able to kill myself but with the disappearance and reappearance of half the Council I knew people were catching onto me and my little "scheme". Haha Foundation you made it so easy."
A large amount of laughter could be heard before the tape abruptly stops. The Founder being furious but remaining a calm composed look on his face merely took out the same device and activated it once more.
Founder:"Administrator, As of now O5-6 is subject to termination on site by any and all combative personnel."
Administrator:"Yes sir but how? he wont be coming back to the Foundation or any of our Sites I presume, shall we send in MTF units or [REDACTED] to take him out in a covert operation?"
Founder:"No need I will deal with this situation now you will return to your duties"
The Administrator leaves the room as it goes pitch black once more and then re-lights again. This time 9 [DATA EXPUNGED] Operatives are standing in the room they all appear to be at attention waiting for orders from the Founder.
Founder:"[DATA EXPUNGED] you will all go as a squad to take out O5-6 before he is able to fully pass destructive knowledge into the Chaos Insurgencys hands I will give you all the locations and co-ordinates of all the current known Chaos Insurgency bases and camps I want you to go to each one burn it to the ground and find more until you terminate O5-6 once your mission is complete report back to me and one more thing, [DATA EXPUNGED]"
The 9 members of[DATA EXPUNGED] recieve the locations of the Chaos Insurgent bases and camps sent to them by the Founder and proceed to their custom built [DATA REDACTED] helicopter for transportation to the Chaos Insurgent bases. It is about a week later that the [DATA EXPUNGED] operatives manage to find the location of O5-6. The [DATA EXPUNGED] operatives communicate with voice scramblers.
[DATA EXPUNGED]:"Ew vahe hmte onw 5o 6 si whtini uro gpsra"
The Task Force move forwards into the base using their advanced armour and weapons to aid in their covert attack the quietly terminate Chaos Insurgent guards without suspicion and manage to sneak their way into the base where they manage to find O5-6 in a meeting with other Chaos Insurgent members. The Task Force form up into a breach formation and proceed to kick in the door and throw smoke and shock grenades before moving in swiftly taking out each armed guard and detaining O5-6 and some Chaos Insurgent High Command, the Task Force administer a memetic kill agent to O5-6 and the C.I HICOM before setting up explosives on the main building and retreating to their
[DATA EXPUNGED] helicopter and blowing the Insurgents base. The [DATA EXPUNGED] report to the Founders location where they brief the Founder on the situation.
Founder:"Well done OTF well done indeed"
Task Force Captain:"Just performing our oath."
Founder:"Good, and Captain"
Task Force Captain:"Yes, sir?"
Founder:"Did you wipe all the data that O5-6 gave to the Chaos Insurgency?"
Task Force Captain:"Yes sir we checked 10 times over and not a bit we also have some of theirs"
The Task Force Captain hands the Founder a USB and proceeds to walk off out the door.//
Founder:"Just another day in the Foundation they say huh?..Why…do we have to live…like this.."
