Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a sealed in a steel containment box which is ALWAYS being magnetically charged to keep the card from moving in its containment. If SCP-XXXX is to escape containment, the card must be retrieved immediately via the High Accuracy GPS attached, a team must be sent out with an electro-magnetic retrieval gun. At NO point should SCP-XXXX be touched by any living entity. The card must be picked up with the electro-magnetic retrieval gun and placed into a sealed replica of its containment to be transported back to its containment cell.

Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be an ordinarily sized steel bank card at 85.60mm by 54.98mm with no branding or smart chip apparent on it. However, it has the expiry and issuing date of 01/01.

When touched or picked up the subject will suddenly have the urge to spend as much money as possible, giving the subject an addiction to spending money. The card works on all ATM machines tested at this time and has a balance of one thousand units of whatever currency the country the card is in uses. The subject will then purchase as much as they can afford, using any means necessary. When the amount on the card is used the subject will find and use as much money as possible, gaining it in any way necessary. Eventually leading to death caused by trying to relieve the addiction by getting money in a life-threating/ending way.

When the victim dies SCP-XXXX can teleport short distances and will try to find a new victim within two hours of death. SCP-XXXX has so far not been viewed teleporting and it is assumed that it cannot move when being looked at. The card can teleport through any hole at least half its size.

Addendum XXXX-A: SCP-XXXX was first found by a roadside in █████, England in 31/10/20██ After two reports of people killing themselves by throwing themselves in front of cars to try and claim false insurance money. SCP-XXXX was contained just one hour after the initial sighting.

Addendum XXXX-B: During initial containment Agent ███████████ tried to inspect SCP-XXXX without realizing its anomalous effects. After picking up the card, Agent ███████████ was observed running down a near road with SCP-XXXX, Agent ███████████ was apprehended after refusing to stop by Commander ████████. He showed strange behavior trying to continue to get up and run with SCP-XXXX for around two hours until he started to get increasingly tired. The agent ███████████ was neutralized twenty-four hours after the initial interaction with SCP-XXXX.

Addendum XXXX-C: In some rare cases SCP-XXXX can cause an instance of SCP-XXXX-1, first seen during test █ of SCP-XXXX’s anomalous effects. D-20484 was placed into the containment cell and told to pick up the card, after picking up SCP-XXXX, the D Class stopped moving and became unresponsive for approximately three and a half minutes, the D Class then turned around still holding SCP-XXXX and became unresponsive for a further two minutes. The D Class suddenly started to scream and try to destroy SCP-XXXX by at first trying to bend the card over their knee, to no avail. They then threw the card against the wall and started stomping on it, Guards then went in and apprehended the D Class.
The D Class seemed to have an abundance of energy and appeared to have a harder slightly grey tone of the skin. The D Class was very aggressive and constantly trying to attack the guards. For a brief amount of time, the D Class managed to get out the guard’s grips and started to run back towards SCP-XXXX which was still laying on the floor, however, the suspect was then apprehended again.
The D Class continued to act aggressively, seemingly getting stronger every hour. After 12 hours of first exposure to SCP-XXXX, D-20484 was neutralized while observed tearing its own skin off with its hands.
Further testing is halted on SCP-XXXX until necessary.

Addendum XXXX-D: Entry to SCP-XXXX is authorized for level 3 personnel and higher. No more than 1 guard is always to guard SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard filing cabinet within an expanding file with its item number stated on the front. No guards are needed in SCP-XXXX’s containment, however, the object is to be checked weekly for any changes.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a piece of A4 sized paper with a changing image on it. The paper shows very little sign of damage, having only a few scrapes and slight water damage on the bottom right. SCP-5000’s most observed image (Observed Image 1:) is of a humanoid looking figure with very disproportionate limbs. The torso and neck of the object are very long compared to the stubby lower half. The object seems to be smiling while looking to the top left of the page. It has been observed to change four times as of the initial writing of this document, however, the actual amount of times it has changed is unknown. Due to the lack of dangerous anomalous effects, SCP-XXXX is within the safe object class.

Observed Image 2: The Second observed image appears to be a group of six (6) human-looking figures, wearing Victorian-era clothing. The furthest left figure and the front-most middle figure seem to be holding spoons in their right hands with their lift hand out appearing to hit the spoon against it. The second figure from the left seems to be a sword type with a long handle and a hole going through the middle. The second figure from the right has their mouth open and their hand up at their chest as if to be singing. The furthest right figure has significantly less shading then the others and has a mustache and monobrow while wearing a dress. They seem to be holding a barrelled object and aiming it upwards. In the middle back of the image, there seems to be a figure which is less defined than the rest, they are wearing what appears to be a suit-shirt and cowboy type hat.

Observed Image 3: The Third observed image appears to be several clown type creatures moving through a building. They have unnaturally wide mouths and stripy clown costumes on. The object on the right seems to be holding a bag with a latching system on it, it also appears to be the tallest and most abnormal. It has a long neck with a low chin and disproportionate limbs.

Observed Image 4: The Forth observed image is of a male character wearing a polo shirt, leaning against the wall. He is holding his hands together and has his left leg supporting him against the wall. He seems to have dark marks on the bottom of his face and a quite large nose.

SCP-XXXX seems to have no dangerous anomalous effects and is to be allowed access by Level 2 personnel and above

Addendum XXXX-A: SCP-XXXX was found in ███████████, Colorado, North America, In 28/08/2004. The object was first brought to the foundations' attention when the object received mass public attention for being “cursed”. The object was captured by the foundation and everyone who had any type of knowledge other than foundation personnel was administered with amnestics.

Addendum XXXX-B: Observed Image 5: at the time of 9:42 pm, ██/██/2018; SCP-XXXX was observed to show a new image of two people fighting with the leftmost person having the other in an armlock. The image was only seen for approximately 20 seconds before it changed back to Observed Image 1 so the exact detail of what was happening is not entirely clear.
