Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to stay on SCP-XXXX-1 at all times as to not negate the effects of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-1 is to be contained in a 8x8x8 containment chamber with no more than 1 personnel to enter at a time. In the possibility of SCP-XXXX-7 emerging from SCP-XXXX, the personnel currently in the area of SCP-XXXX-7 is to immediately be terminated due to the possibility of SCP-XXXX-7 spreading.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a small oak chest with unknown floral patterns covering it in its entirety. The leather is mostly fake and seems to have been painted onto SCP-XXXX. Small metal studs cover the leather from underneath. A small carving in the side of SCP-XXXX displays the initials of someone in a crudely cut manner depicting the words "M.B". The inside of SCP-XXXX is mostly barren until the variant of SCP-XXXX is materialized.
SCP-XXXX's abilities are dependant on it touching the pedestal it originated from. The pedestal is to be referred to as SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX can materialize 6 different objects after being open for at least 5 seconds. Each of these are referred to as SCP-XXXX-2, SCP-XXXX-3, SCP-XXXX-4, SCP-XXXX-5, SCP-XXXX-7, and SCP-XXXX-8.
SCP-XXXX-2 is what appears to be fools gold. Upon a personnel mistaking it for real gold, the object will proceed to combusts and kill anyone in the radius of 3m. Once the personnel who opened SCP-XXXX is dead SCP-XXXX-2 will disappear. This happens with all the other items that materialized from SCP-XXXX other than SCP-XXXX-7, SCP-XXXX-3, and SCP-XXXX-5.
SCP-XXXX-3 is an unknown type of quartz with blue linings on the inside of it. Upon the oils from the hand interacting with the item for more than 10 seconds the personnel will start to be subjected to boiling pains until the hand is completely melted. SCP-XXXX-3 does not disappear upon the subject dying, it instead disappears by it being melted itself. SCP-XXXX-3 is extremely flammable and has proven to be a good source for a fire.
SCP-XXXX-4 happens to be the rarest variant of them all as it has only materialized 2 times. Upon a personnel opening SCP-XXXX, a seemingly random bone from the personnels body will be placed in their hand. In both cases this event killed the personnel instantly. The bones vanishes upon the personnel dying.
SCP-XXXX-5 is a journal with a small gem in the middle of it. The paper is thick and quite old. Upon the personnel writing anything in the journal, when an object is stated it will materialize in their hands. But upon this happening an equal item of value will be chosen from your body. In most cases the subject will die, but, upon them surviving the item will still be there. If they die the item will disappear as well. In the case of anyone asking for an SCP or an item of great power, the personnel will immediately die. This will then proceed with the book disappearing. Upon them not asking for an item of great power or an SCP, the book will keep its abilities and will not vanish. A storage unit has been installed to the observation bay as to keep extra SCP-XXXX-5's.
SCP-XXXX-6 is a branch found from an acacia tree. Upon a personnel touching SCP-XXXX-6, a memetic effect will occur and will force the personnel to hold onto SCP-XXXX-6. Upon doing so the personnel will become a small acacia tree. The containment chamber is to be cleaned before the next test occurs upon SCP-XXXX-6 being materialized.
SCP-XXXX-7 is a small mouse with dark green eyes. Upon a personnel coming in contact with SCP-XXXX-7 the personnel will be infected with a disease where after the period of 3 hours the subject will become another SCP-XXXX-7. SCP-XXXX-7 is to be terminated after the test has been conducted.
SCP-XXXX-8 is a small black pocket knife with a stainless steal blade and old blood remnants found on it. Upon a personnel coming in contact with SCP-XXXX-8, they will attempt to kill anything in the length of 15m. After 15 minutes the subject will then kill themselves.
