Description: scp-7070
safe
SCP-7070 is an elder male, appears around 60 years, only described as 'Lonly Fisherman'. SCP-7070 stands around 5 feet and 4 inches, with long gray hair and ligh gray beard and is known for having 'calm and soothing' voice. SCP-7070 is of course a male. He always appears wearing the same outfit, cargo shorts and a short sleeved light dirty green shirt. Although he appears as an 60 year old male, he is referred to even as early as year 1263. In 1263, he is mentioned in a Serbian king's song. He was described as 'a mysterious man, using his very weird metal fishing rod to catch anyone's sadness and get them into heaven'. He can be seen by anyone but will only go into long talks with those who need moral support, are suffering from mental illness or are suicidal. Subjects who need his help report feeling 'a strange and unexplained need to talk to him'. Upon contact with the subject, SCP-7070 says something in a language that many describe as Slavic, and upon he finishes saying those words SCP-7070-C appears out of water. SCP-7070-C is a small wooden boat. Even though the boat emerges from water entirely wet, subjects report it being not just dry but warm and calming to sit on. SCP-7070 waits for subject to enter the boat and after that he gets in and says more Slavic-like words and the boat starts going. Subjects report not being able to remember in which direction SCP-7070-C is heading, but knowing that it was "somewhere nice". Things that are said on SCP-7070-C are somehow erased from subject's memory. Subjects and SCP-7070-A, the Lonely Fisherman, return to the place where they took of after about 2 to 4 and a half hours. Upon returning SCP-7070-C submerges in the water again and the fisherman offers the subjects their "Last Catch for the Day". They can either take SCP-7070-B, fisherman's fishing rod, home and have it calm them forever as long as they have it, or catch one last thing and get anything material they need and want to get.
Some subjects even report they cought literal human beings and later ended up marrying them. The object they fish with SCP-7070 is often something that makes them happy and that they miss/want. After the subject leaves they feel like 'they've been reborn' and often their mental illnesses are gone. SCP-7070-A never appears for the same person twice.
