Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-5217 is to be contained in a 3 meter by 3 meter by 3 meter soundproof cell, with a Grade A 25-ton explosive-resistant door preventing it from leaving. Any personnel entering the cell must not speak unless ordered to beforehand, as interacting with the anomaly can cause a containment breach.
All security personnel tasked with guarding its cell must be equipped with a stun rifle capable of outputting 120 volts. All personnel must be switched out every two days, with the previous guards reporting to therapy sessions to help alleviate the nightmares. It must be fed two times a day with a recently-deceased human corpse. It will not accept anything else.
Description:
SCP-5217 is a bipedal entity 2.6 meters tall. It appears to be cybernetic; one side is robotic, and the other is a thick layer of reptilian scales. Tests of these scales have revealed it to be as strong as Level IV bulletproof armor. Its roar can trigger a fear reflex in human subjects, and is fully capable of dismembering said human subjects with ease. The anomaly's fear-inducing roar has long-term effects, and victims have reported having nightmares of the creature.
**Addendum 029.5: Discovery **
SCP-5217 was discovered near Site-11 in an underground chamber 14.4 kilometers to the south-east, at which point MTF-Omicron-2, codename Nuclear Nomads, was sent to investigate. Upon entering, they discovered a creature chained to a wall, and writing was uncovered on an adjacent wall. The markings revealed it to be a demon, the name of which was "Satan's Right Hand."
When one of the MTFs called for an extraction, the anomaly awoke and broke free of its chains, chasing the team out of its resting place. MTF-Lambda-1, codename Maxwell's Demons was sent in to contain it, and found that their rifles had no effect. When an MTF, out of desperation, used a taser on SCP-5217, it fell unconscious. Security teams quickly transferred it to Site-11, and archeologists were deployed to take the carvings.
The below file is the first display of SCP-5217's sentience, and was taken during one of its first docility periods.
The following files are the three tests that were conducted.
Further testing has been restricted by the O5 council.
SCP-5217's prediction of the Foundation's downfall has not come true as of yet.
