Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in the standard medium sized humanoid containment cell, with high powered UV lights installed in the ceiling with cast iron bars protecting them, no ventilation, and no windows or other sources of natural light.
If SCP-XXXX is to breach containment, all lights in the facility are to be switched to emit UV light, as well as all vents be put into lockdown mode. MTF units are to be equipped with flamethrowers, molotovs, and high powered UV light emitting batons, and are suggested to lure it into some place without many dark areas, before trapping it in a cast iron cage.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a large demonic entity, usually standing at 2.19 meters tall, although the being is known to be able to change this at will. SCP-XXXX is usually a matt black semi-humanoid being, with wispy white smoke coming off its body, and the appearance of a robe or cape covering most of the being’s body1, it is unknown what is underneath this cloak. The entity has a human-like face, with a constant large smile, sharpened teeth, two glowing white eyes, and no visible nose. SCP-XXXX is a known shapeshifter, although cannot change its color, texture, or face, instead opting to change its shape, size, and weight. SCP-XXXX has been known to use this ability to produce tentacle like protrusions from anywhere on its body, most commonly its back, to use as arms and weapons.
SCP-XXXX seems to have a variety of abilities at its disposal, such as being able to adopt the properties of shadows, becoming translucent, gaining the ability of flight, and becoming much less solid while doing so, or using its tendrils to puppeteer dead bodies, which have been aptly named SCP-XXXX-A. SCP-XXXX-A are usually used for either menial tasks or to help SCP-XXXX in combat, and they are unusually strong and fast no matter their species. SCP-XXXX-A continue to decompose even after taken over2. SCP-XXXX seems to have a degree of control over temperature, as whatever room they are is slowly lowered or raised to 50 degrees fahrenheit. A similar effect is produced when SCP-XXXX comes into direct contact anything, as the temperature of the item or person drops to 30 degrees fahrenheit.
SCP-XXXX also seemingly has telepathic powers, including being able to influence the thoughts of subjects, increase their tendency towards violence, gradually increasing the chance of developing a mental disorder the longer in contact, read surface thoughts, detect fears, and project images into the subjects mind3. SCP-XXXX also appears to have the power to create and control illusions, as shown during testing log #42, when they turned Dr. [DATA EXPUNGED] against the entire research facility, resulting in [REDACTED] casualties and [REDACTED] insuries. Dr. [REDACTED] has a theory that the entities powers may be more effective against already mentally unstable subjects, further testing is required.
SCP-XXXX seems to have a disabling fear of both the sun and fire, with just the mention of either enough to bring distress. This fear is warranted considering the sun’s UV rays are directly harmful to the entity, causing it to writhe in pain for multiple hours, before presumably dying4. SCP-XXXX’s fear of fire is also warranted, as it is the most effective way of hurting SCP-XXXX as of yet. Fire is also extremely useful for controlling growth and spread of the beings tentacles. Cast iron is also and effective method of keeping it contained, as it burns SCP-XXXX whenever it touches it.
SCP-XXXX has shown extreme levels of intelligence, with a recorded IQ of 243, it is extremely manipulative and seems to enjoy playing with its targets. SCP-XXXX does not seem to hate humans or humanity, but rather enjoys seeing chaos and the feeling of megalomania, and when not actively hostile, seems to be rather sexual, expressing a desire for human woman. It seems that, with the proper bribery, we could influence and control suggest it to help us.
