Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-8319, it is highly unlikely that instances will ever be contained. All media reports, individuals and organisations investigating SCP-8319 are to be monitored closely, and be dissuaded from ever getting close to finding SCP-8319's true nature. Amnestics are to be used if necessary. Individual instances of SCP-8319 are to be referred to as SCP-8319-1.

IP Addresses and servers where reports of SCP-8319 have been sighted are to be classified as SCP-8319-2, and monitored in a similar fashion to the individual instances. The exact locations in each "map" where instances occur are to be monitored, and noted for any correlations or similarities. Updates to the games source code is to be noted. The continuation of SCP-8319's status as an 'internet trend' is to be monitored, and also dissuaded from progressing by appropriate staff members.

D-class personnel with internet access may be encouraged to participate in dispelling SCP-8319's existence as a myth, or alternatively, as a tired trend.

Individuals who come across instances of SCP-8319 pose no threat, and are to be encouraged to treat instances as a trend, until the trend naturally dies out.

Description: SCP-8319 is a humanoid entity resembling the "Spy" character from the popular first person shooter video game, Team Fortress 2. Similar to the characters from the game, they wear similar altered clothing, being mechanical eyes, cameras placed neatly in between a fake beard, and a modified bowler hat, known in-game as the "Shutterbug", "Upgrade" and the "Camera Beard" respectively. Individuals that come into contact with instances of SCP-8319 have reported feeling unusually strong levels of numbness, confusion, nauseousness, or fear, before the effects wear off in a matter of seconds. The full extent of this psychic ability is currently unknown, and to be treated with utmost caution when an encounter takes place.

SCP-8319 moves individually or as a group with seemingly no preference to which, becoming invisible at will and appearing at entirely random intervals, to observe and monitor events taking place. Instances only appear in Team Fortress 2's "casual mode" and "community servers", more or less due to a lack of activity in the game's "competitive mode", leaving nothing for them to observe. SCP-8319 is almost always seen holding a weapon known as the "Red-Tape recorder" from the video game, as it is based off of an audio recording device. Whether this enhances the instances abilities or not is currently unknown.

Instances pose no threat to long or short term health, simply opting to observe players, events, and games on the sidelines. Killing their character in-game does not affect their activity, resuming their observations quickly after re-spawning. SCP-8319 doesn't appear to favour any particular kind of in-game server, map or kind of player, and will indiscriminately/randomly observe anything.
