Item #: SCP-6000

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard containment locker measuring 1m x 0.5m x 0.5m in site [REDACTED]. Lockers are to be monitored via CCTV, and at least one guard, who is to be psychologically evaluated for deviations from normal activity every 3 months.

Description: SCP-XXXX Is a crude wooden Balisong knife roughly 22 centimetres long, and 4 centimetres wide when fully opened and in it's "knife" state. The 3 individual limbs measure 10 centimetres each. Approximately 8 centimetres of electrical tape has been applied to the bottom end of it's "handles", which upon inspection, does not seem to affect the stability of the model. Inscribed on the blade is "Fiducia", Italian for "trust", near the edged side. Samples of the wood from the handle show that it is made of Oak Wood, but samples of the wood from the blade show that it is comprised of an unidentifiable material. Further testing is awaiting approval.

The anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX activate when being held in its knife state, acting as a common Balisong knife when in any other position. When holding the knife, subjects have noted feeling compelled to drive the knife into their body, more specifically in places that are causing any form of discomfort, sickness, or pain. It has been observed that with some effort, this urge can be disregarded, but is constantly present in the subjects thoughts as long as it is being held in its knife state.

When SCP-XXXX penetrates the body and its subject, any aforementioned deviation from normal health is mended in the specific organ that it passes through. Subjects while being stabbed have noted feeling extraordinary pain in the location of the stab, but were unable to cry out, or move any part of the body besides the mouth, arms, and eyes. Large amounts of sweat form on the subjects forehead, armpits, and back, as long as SCP-XXXX remains in the subject. Removing SCP-XXXX from the body of the subject appears to alleviate this paralysis, as well as any pain associated with the penetration. No blood is lost from the subject from the wound inflicted by SCP-XXXX, seemingly due to its anomalous healing properties.
