Information
'The Mask' is an ancient relic made of stone and painted with human bones in a powder form designed to pierce the brain in multiple points to unlock a unknown potential, there are three masks in total but only two of them have a 'host' this is due to the other mask having been locked in the tomb of previous host. The way the masks activate is breath, if a mask comes into contact with your face it is advised not to breathe until removed.
As of becoming a host, the person cannot be separated from the mask until death, in this case, the 5 mask have seperate weaknesses Fire, Water and Light are the three weaknesses.
The mask Argol has the weakness of fire
The mask Veranic has the weakness of water (Contained)
The mask Leon has the weakness of light (Contained)
Containment
As of 10/7/12 we have only secured and contained the masks with hosts, the other mask is to be believed that is has no host, so is not rendering as a threat to society.
The rooms are tailored to keep both at bay, Veranic has a chamber of 4m² to prevent the SCP from coming into contact with the walls or ceiling, it room is filled water, and has a glass chamber in the center to prevent the water from getting to it unless it makes a move.
Leon is located on the top floor it has a small enclosed chamber in the center with tinted black glass and has an open roof that closes just before the sun sets to conserve energy and floodlights activate, if a power-outage occurs during the night Leon has its own backup generator.
Procedures
Veranic has an airlock entrance and will only be visited for 10 minutes because of the researcher's air supply, the researcher must stay at least 1 metre away from the glass shell to prevent breaking the glass and killing the SCP. The researcher will have a helmet that will send out transmissions when they speak to increase the volume of their voice so the SCP can apprehend the researcher.
Leon can only be visited at midday to lower the chance of casualties just in case of any incidents that may transpire, Leon's glass chamber is thin enough to be able to hear the interrogator but thick enough not to break on contact.
