Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4660 and SCP-4660-1 must be in an air lock room with no entry or exit. If containment breach all personnel who come in contact with SCP-4660 will be given Level A admestics and must go under 48 hour cleansing procedure. If the subject still shows any signs of SCP-4660 the subject must be terminated to avoid another containment breach.
Description: SCP-4660 also known as the darkness is an bacterial infection spread by touch when agate, SCP-4660-1 will open pores on its body and release the bacteria. Otherwise SCP-4660-1 is very calm it takes the form of a humanoid creature with pale white skin, black visible veins, slick black hair, and a light purple color for their eyes. It seems to talk in a different language to ours and likes to be alone. It was first found by a recon group exploring the containment breach of site [REDACTED] after an alpha warhead was launched see Addendum 1 for more information about the recon groups extraction of SCP-4660 and SCP-4660-1. Under Containment SCP-4660 its bacterial state showing no life unlike its counterpart SCP-4660-1.SCP-4660-1 under containment show no emotions other than sorrow. But once the airlock room is breached the bacteria seem to become very agitated and starts to form purplish/blackish appendages from SCP-4660-1's skin making 4660-1 express pain and anger. It is still unknown what the appendages are made from it is believed that the dead bacteria cells from the SCP are used to stretch further and further in 4660-1's body until 4660-1 finds another host for it to attach too. Once it has found a host it immediately starts to work by slowly replacing the host's cells with its own. Many show no signs of being infected til the finally stages where the infection has started to replace the outer cells of the body.By now if the subject infected by the bacteria either can survive and become another SCP4660-1 or dies. Once the host's body is over 50% corrupted and the subject is dead by the infection they try to seek out another able host to infect, if not able to they infected one slowly dies and the bacteria also dies with it. If still alive the Bacteria will start the procedure over again by making 4660-1 look for any living thing til the collapse out of tiredness.
