Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be held in a standard humanoid containment cell at Site-43. No personnel are permitted to enter the containment cell unless an experiment approved by no fewer than two Level 3 Researchers is taking place, or the cell is being cleaned. All personnel entering SCP-XXXX's cell must be scanned thoroughly for any signs of physical lacerations or internal trauma. If said trauma is discovered, experiments and/or cleaning sessions are to be cancelled until said trauma has healed, at which point experiments may continue.
SCP-XXXX's cell is to be cleaned weekly and a Site Physician is to be notified of all traces of physical trauma. The Site Physician is to notify Researchers if the trauma is deemed detrimental to SCP-XXXX's overall well-being. Any personnel who have entered the containment cell and show any signs of physical trauma are to be quarantined and all experiments are to be cancelled.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a human male that is 16 years old and 174 centimetres tall. Whenever a person who exhibits any form of physical trauma passes within an indeterminate radius of SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX will begin to exhibit the same form of physical trauma as seen in the original subject. The time range in which this process takes place has been measured during experiments to be between 1-30 minutes.
All persons who are exposed to SCP-XXXX will begin to display similar symptoms to SCP-XXXX in the form of equivalent trauma. Any further trauma experienced by SCP-XXXX will also be exhibited on the subject (henceforth referred to as SCP-XXXX-1). Over time, the intensity of the trauma displayed on SCP-XXXX-1 will lessen. It is, as of yet, undetermined at how long after exposure SCP-XXXX-1 will cease to display symptoms, however, estimates gathered from previous subjects point to approximately 14 days after initial exposure.
It is believed that SCP-XXXX establishes some kind of "Trauma Link" with subjects, this is presumably what forces the trauma upon SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1. This link seems to fade with time, whether this be due to SCP-XXXX's memory of the subject fading or just a gradual loss of effectiveness is currently unknown. Further tests have been authorised to determine this link.
SCP-XXXX seems to be cognisant of all of its symptoms and exhibits emotions that coincide with the pain that would be experienced from such trauma. When questioned about its symptoms, SCP-XXXX insists that it does not know where they came from or what caused them. Information relating to the "Trauma Link" has not yet been revealed to SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX shows no malicious intent that wouldn't be expected of a pubescent teenager. Therefore, it is believed that the "Trauma Link" is involuntary.
Addendum XXXX.01: Initial Discovery Log
SCP-XXXX was discovered after Agents informed the Foundation of an article written in the local newspaper with the heading "Mysterious Spread of Hospital Ailments". The article goes into detail of physical ailments spreading within a hospital ward after SCP-XXXX was admitted to the said ward. MTF Pi-1 ("City Slickers") were deployed to Clifton-Fine Hospital to investigate and an evacuation of the hospital was called under the premise of a Carbon Monoxide leak. Patients exposed to SCP-XXXX were transferred to the nearest Foundation Hospital for "treatment" and were transferred back to Clifton-Fine Hospital after one week.
SCP-XXXX was transferred to Site-43 under supervision MTF Pi-1 and its injuries were treated by Foundation medical staff. It has been noted that SCP-XXXX shows extreme resilience to sustained injuries, having taken on an entire Hospital Ward's worth of injuries without even loss of consciousness. Tests have shown that SCP-XXXX's DNA is equivalent to that of a regular human, therefore it is currently unknown how SCP-XXXX exhibits such resistance to injuries.
