Special Containment Procedures: The main containment chamber of SCP-XXXX is a 1 m by 2 m by 1 m storage locker located at Site-55. This chamber is to be monitored from a remote control room located 100 meters away from it.
The complete contaiment area of SCP-XXXX consists of the surrounding 100 meter area. All doors leading to the containment area are marked with a warning. Any personell ignoring this warning will be taken into questioning and will face possible demotion if they have not been terminated by SCP-XXXX. Physical contact with SCP-XXXX is not to be made.
There are to be no attempts at moving SCP-XXXX-1 from their normal position due to the nature of the object's anomalous effects. To know if SCP-XXXX-1 has been moved, the pedestal that SCP-XXXX-1 is positioned on is equipped with weight sensors that constantly monitor weight distribution. If the weight has shifted, containment personell are to be informed.
When the anoumalous properties of SCP-XXXX trigger after a week (168 hours), SCP-XXXX is to be located immediately and doors in the area where the object is are to be locked.
Researching is to be conducted by level 3 clearance personell or higher. Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX all testing has been deemed unnecessary and too risky. See Addendum XXXX-1.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a levitating black metallic sphere aproximately 35 cm in diameter. If any human makes physical contact with the object, they will begin to breath heavily and sweat profusely. While under these effects the person is unable to move most likely due to fear. People affected will decease from a panic attack in aproximately 2 minutes after contact.
While SCP-XXXX is floating above SCP-XXXX-1, it has a 100 m range of effect. If any living human enters this range, SCP-XXXX will teleport to their location almost instantaneously. After teleporting, SCP-XXXX will follow their target at aproximately half of their regular walking speed. While being chased the person is unable to see SCP-XXXX and people have reported feeling constant dread even after getting away from the object. If the target gets too far away,1 SCP-XXXX stops for a short amount of time2 before continuing to move at an expotentially increasing speed until being 1 meter away from the target.
After the target is terminated or out of range3 SCP-XXXX will become stationary. If any human enters a 10 meter range of the object while stationary, it will chase after that person.
If SCP-XXXX is stationary for 5 minutes it will teleport back to SCP-XXXX-1.
SCP-XXXX-1 is a flat stone with the height of 1 cm. The stone doesn't have anomalous properties of it's own, but rather works as a link for SCP-XXXX, as it seems to constantly float above the stone.
SCP-XXXX-1 seems to be impervious to damage.
SCP-XXXX has an effect that was previously unknown to the Foundation. After aproximately 1 week (168 hours) SCP-XXXX will teleport to the person nearest to it. Reports have claimed this effect to have an infinite range. It usually is difficult to locate the target that SCP-XXXX teleports to. After finding out about this ability, the Foundation reclassified SCP-XXXX as Euclid.
Addendum 1: SCP-XXXX
During a test conducted by Dr. █████████, two containment units were terminated by SCP-XXXX. One of them deceased when they were touched by SCP-XXXX and the other tried to grab the object. Later the Doctor reported that none of them had noticed SCP-XXXX following them. This led to the decision of cancelling all future testing on the object.
