Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a secure containment locker at Site-██. Should any instances of SCP-XXXX-1 be produced, site personnel are to remove SCP-XXXX-1 from the environment and incinerate it immediately. Any personnel within 3 meters of SCP-XXXX or SCP-XXXX-1 are to wear Biosafety Level 5 equipment. If a subject comes into contact with, ingests, or otherwise introduces a part of SCP-XXXX-1 into their body, subject must be quarantined until expiration.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a ██████████ brand garden hose 30.5m long with a diameter of approximately 1.6 cm. SCP-XXXX was recovered from a suburban home in ██ ████, Texas. Usage of SCP-XXXX by a resident and subsequent growth of approximately ██ instances of SCP-XXXX-1 resulted in █ civilian casualties. Unaffected residents were administered Class-A amnestics. When not in use, SCP-XXXX shows no anomalous properties. If connected to a faucet or spigot, SCP-XXXX produces a mild memetic effect causing approximately 78% of individuals to be compelled to use SCP-XXXX to "water" any surface near them. Any liquid other than water does not flow through SCP-XXXX. When attached to a running faucet, SCP-XXXX will produce a solution nearly identical to blood, with the absence of DNA or any other genetic material. Any solid surface that comes into contact with SCP-XXXX's blood will begin to sprout instances of SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 are light red-colored flowers most similar in shape to Rhododendron ferruginium, or the snow-rose. Living parts of SCP-XXXX-1 that are introduced into a living creature begin to infect them until expiration.

Sample: One petal taken from an instance of SCP-XXXX-1
Results: Subject was instructed put on a pair of rubber gloves and ingest sample. Subject displayed no ill effects for 43 seconds, after which he began to vocalize discomfort, then bleed profusely from every orifice. Subject expired 23 seconds after event. Autopsy results found that sample made its way into the digestive tract and reacted with the hydrochloric acid in subject's stomach, causing mild chemical burns and severe hemorrhaging.

Sample: 1mg of pollen extracted from an instance of SCP-XXXX-1
Results: Subject was instructed to inhale sample. Subject had difficulty breathing after 14 seconds, then began to asphyxiate shortly after. Subject expired 36 seconds after event. Autopsy results found that the pollen sample entered the lungs and attached to the alveoli, rapidly increasing in size until subject's lungs were almost completely occupied.

**Test 3 ** - XXXX-1-03

Results: Subject was instructed to pick up sample. Subject ceased movement immediately after coming into contact with sample. Subject remained still for 32 seconds before collapsing. Autopsy results show that sample caused a debilitating reaction in the subject's nervous system, completely terminating brain function.
