Special Containment Procedures:after Incident XXXX-X the subjects containment has been modified with emergency medical equipment on standby near the subjects bed. this including defibrillators, surgical tools, replacement blood and plasma, oxygen tanks, and any machinery capable of preventing unconsciousness or death. SCP-XXXX has also had an automatic pacemaker implanted that must be maintenance monthly. the subject must also be contained near at least one other anomalous object capable of rapid healing or regeneration and will be subject to a short physical exam every day as well as an extended exam at the end of each week. SCP-XXXX must also adhere to a strict exercise and meal regimen.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomalous human male born 2/2/████ named Dave ██████. the subject appears to and reports repeating every day at least 5 times before being able to wake up the next day. This process starts at 06:59 Site-██ standard time every morning with the subjects sleep becoming restless, and waking up at exactly 07:00 reporting to be well slept and to have experienced the current day at least 5 times. naturally we can only observe the final day of the cycle and are reliant on SCP-XXXX to relay reliable data. the time of waking seems to be in relation to the time his alarm clock was set to go off on 3/7/████ the day the subjects anomalous properties manifested and before his subsequent containment on 3/8/████.

SCP-xxxx will always repeat a day five times but this number can increase depending on if the subject dies, falls unconscious, or attempts to stay up past 07:00, if one such condition is met the number of iterations increases by one.

Addendum XXXX-1:Upon an accepted request for a bedside table in SCP-XXXX’s containment cell shortly after initial containment. We learned that objects and information being carried on the subject during the switch to a new iteration would appear in the bedside table during the next iteration or day.

SCP-XXXX has proven loyalty to both the foundation and humanity, sacrificing himself countless times to gain knowledge of dangerous anomalies or save others and shown nothing less than 100% dedication to the cause of keeping humanity out of the darkness. it is for these reasons and his usefulness to the foundation that he is granted level 4 access and special permissions to access data and sites provided SCP-XXXX maintains the procedures listed above.

Recovery log, SCP-XXXX

Foreword: SCP-XXXX approached Agent Hayes while he was beginning an assignment to investigate anomalous activity believed to be related to SCP-███ in the town of █████, ████████.

<Begin Log [13:00] 3/8/████>

Agent Hayes: *tink tink* is this thing on? [EXPLETIVE REDACTED] I hate these new things, I can never get them to work.

Agent Hayes' finger can be seen taping on the lens to his issued body cam

Command: Its working H█████, and please refrain from using expletives, this will be on official record after all.

Agent Hayes: Not like anybody is gonna see this, i was told to look for anything "strange'. that is the only details the foundation could spare me apparently. Ill eat my foot if I actually find anything.

Command: well, MTF-██ is on standby in case you do find anything. i suppose their medic could amputate it for you after they clean up whatever mess you get in.

Agent Hayes: real funny command. lets make a bet, if i find anything ill buy you a round and you can get mine when i dont.

at this point Agent Hayes is finishing putting on his gear and preparing to exit the Stakeout vehicle, a van labeled Super Crap Plumbers, when a knock is heard at the back doors to the van and Agent Hayes draws his firearm.

Agent Hayes: Command somebody is knocking on the van, am i expecting company?!

Command: I'm contacting the MTF. he just looks like a regular guy from the external van cams, but keep on your toes, hopefully he just needs a plumber.

several seconds pass without sound as Agent Hayes aims his firearm at the rear doors and prepares for a breach

SCP-XXXX: Hey Skipper! … Skippperr! i need some help with my pipes! They are like ███ years old and getting pretty dangerous!

Agent Hayes: [EXPLETIVE REDACTED], command was that the SCP number?! and skipper… is this guy UIU?!

Command: No, I checked as soon as I got a shot of his face on the cams. whoever he is, he has classified information and could blow your cover. you need to get him in that van NOW!

Agent Hayes rapidly opens the rear door, grabs SCP-XXXX by the shirt and throws him toward the front of the van and can bee seen shutting the rear door while aiming his Firearm at SCP-XXXX's chest

Agent Hayes: you better tell me everything i need to know about you in the next 10 seconds or you'll never speak again got that!

Agent Hayes can be seen putting his firearm to the jaw of SCP-XXXX

SCP-XXXX: I'm an anomalous person named Dave yet to be discovered by the foundation. I have access to this information because you told me it to me before everything reset. I have no time to and cant explain it anyway, your bosses mission override code is [REDACTED] and if you dont listen to me everybody in this town is going to die in less that 30 minutes!

SCP-XXXX can be seen checking his watch, while Agent Hayes is visibly confused

SCP-XXXX 28, look we dont have time to stand here, call in the MTF and evacuate the town. and call in reinforcements you aren't prepared for this.

Agent Hayes: Command, you copy? please advice… should i terminate?

Command: No! the mission override code checked out i haven't a clue why but he has permission to change mission objective. I'm sending you reinforcements and calling in MTF. you should restrain him Incase hes from a GOI though.

Agent Hayes alright, i dont know how you fit in all this, but i'm gonna restrain you till its all over. try to escape or resist and ill put a bullet through you got it? and if i get nailed for holding a superior hostage i'm blaming you command.

coordination between Command and Agent Hayes in order to properly contain SCP-███ and its effects continued for several minutes while SCP-XXXX advised

Command ███ is back in containment and under control, MTF reported that had we been a few minutes later things would have gotten bad, possibly wiping out a large portion of the surrounding area. Knock out whoever that is and bring him home, hes god explaining to do.

Agent Hayes Roger Command. sorry kid, night night.

SCP-XXXX NNNOOOO!!! [MANY EXPLETIVES REDACTED] I CANT! there no telling how many repeats it will take me this time! not after i finally did it! just please, do whatever you want, but i cant go unconscious!

Agent Hayes you haven't misled me so far so ill let you stay upright, but you've got some serious explaining to do when we get back to base. and you better not talk on the ride!

Dr. TeBaum’s proposal
Upon reviewing the abilities, properties, and phycology of SCP-XXXX I believe he could serve the foundation to a great extent if put to proper use in three major areas:

-firstly, the nature of SCP-XXXX’s anomaly allows somebody to experience and document things we have been unable to record, due to a high fatality rate or a situation that cannot be returned from such as k-class world ending scenarios. It's like a D-Class that backs up everything it sees so you don't have to worry about it getting destroyed and no matter what test you do, it can't possibly go wrong, because the universe just resets

-if SCP-XXXX carries a hard drive and backs up a project after a day of work, he can return that morning to deliver this data and effectively an entire days worth of research came out of nowhere. This effect can realistically be applied to the entire foundation if provided with a large enough storage device.

-SCP-XXXX can be used a seer of sorts, so long as we inform him or provide him with information about anything from containment breaches to apocalypses at the end of the day we can then have this information before it ever becomes a problem, we could potentially know about any and all threats within 24 hours. Image how many breeches we could stop, lives we could save!

So now that we have everything SCP-XXXX can do for us on the table, time to talk about the drawback. The biggest by far is that due to the nature of the anomaly, amnestics wont work effectively all the time. either intentionally (he could simply ignore it by killing himself before receiving them, then just claiming he did), or unintentionally (due to time differences being hard to account for, inconsistent in time or impossible to document) this means we have to be prepared for SCP-XXXX to have knowledge of anything we want to use him to study or account for.

Addendum XXXX-2.1
In light of Incident XXXX-A I would be remiss not to mention the fact that SCP-XXXX represents a semi-immediate threat to the continuation of the universe as a drawback. But the containment procedures we have in place are frankly all we can do, there is no true way to contain the possibility the he could die and suspend time at any point. protecting SCP-XXXX from harm in his first hour awake to prevent a repeat of Incident XXXX-A is really all that is necessary because we can’t do anything else about it. Except actively look for ways to destroy his anomalous properties or make him immortal

As far as if the subject is willing to help with these procedures, i believe that it is easy to see in both the recovery log and interview that SCP-XXXX is willing to go to great lengths to protect humanity. SCP-XXXX killed himself or was killed over 2000 times in an attempt to contain SCP-___ before he had even met the fondation and with only a poor grasp of his properties.

SCP-XXXX will to protect humanity is further shown as a result of Incident XXXX-A, upon realizing that his giving up would be result in the halting of the universe, he struggled for possibly years in a literal hellscape just for the chance of saving humanity.

Foreword: [the Following audio log was recorded after Incident XXXX-A. SCP-XXXX was interviewed as to the nature of the incident and his behavior before, during, and after]

Dr. TeBaum: So, Dave right? Would you like to give me a rundown of what occured this morning?

SCP-XXXX is noted to be jittery and unresponsive to questioning, seeming very scared and focused on his left arm.

Dr. TeBaum: Dave, we cannot do anything to prevent this from happening again unless you give us information as to the natur….

SCP-XXXX it can’t….it can’t….it can’t… it can’t…. It can’t….. It can’t….

Dr. TeBaum: get a hold of yourself! What can’t! what could possibly be so dramatic about a heart attack, you ‘die’ to help the foundation almost daily.

SCP-XXXX IT CAN'T HAPPEN AGAIN! You don't understand doc…. You can't understand what it’s like. Dying hurts sure, but that was hell doc… you need to find a way to kill me permanently, NOW. as soon as you you can, anything please!

Dr. TeBaum: if it's that bad, we could request amnestics for you. Strong enough dose to wipe out a month and you will be right as rain.

SCP-XXXX doctor you didn't save me in time from that heart attack….not the first time….not the second..not the third.. The fifth, the sixth, the seventh…..

Dr. TeBaum: Dave….. how many times were we unable to save you?

SCP-XXXX I can't remember

At this point SCP-XXXX begins to cry.

SCP-XXXX all i can remember is waking up with pain in my arm, pleading for help, then dying right before i could be saved, then waking up with a pain in my arm and starting over, and over and over! It could have been weeks, months, years, spent in the two minutes between waking up and dying i almost went mad, i didn't know if i was still alive or if i had somehow made it to hell…

Dr. TeBaum: what changed the last time? after all of that, how could you still bang on the door not even knowing if you were in hell or not.

SCP-XXXX Nothing changed the last time doctor, we were lucky! and i didnt give up because if i wasn't in hell, then it means the universe was ending.

Dr. TeBaum: you'll have to run that by me again, end of the universe?

SCP-XXXX i was just about to give up and give into my fate, a bit painful, but i could get used it. Then i realized ….. time starts over at 7 am every time i die, so if i wasn't in hell, it means the universe would be stuck forever….two minutes forward, two minutes back and the only continuous consciousness would be me, thinking about how i let the earth freeze…

SCP-XXXX what if i had an aneurysm 2 seconds after i wake up! I could push through this one, i just barely had enough time! But If i die seconds after i wake up, time stops! the end! game over! and i’ll be left to think about how I destroyed the universe, the only person able to see infinity pass by around me…

Closing Statement: in light of the realization that SCP-XXXX can cause an TK-Class time disruption event if killed within a short time after waking up, i propose immediate object class change to Apollyon. While i understand how helpful SCP-XXXX can and is to the foundation, we must recognize that he is also capable of stopping reality indefinitely in a single moment by a simple hemorrhage, stroke, aneurysm or heart attack. Worse yet we have a ticking clock, SCP-XXXX still ages normally and if we don't find a way to stop him from dying indefinitely or kill him without incurring his anomalous effect then the universe WILL end.
