Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be contained at Site 19, in a hermetically sealed, bullet-proof acrylic / glass case, no less than forty centimeters in height, and twenty centimeters in width, and depth (40 x 20 x 20): This case must be placed on a fifty by fifty centimeter (50 x 50) reinforced concrete pedestal no less than fifty (50) centimeters tall. Object is not to be interacted with unless approved by at least two (2), level 3 personnel.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a Victorian-era, handheld, mirror, estimated to have been created some time in the late 19th century.
Object's mirror surface measures approximately thirty-four and one half centimeters in height, and sixteen and one half centimeters in length (34.5 x 16.5). Object appears to be constructed of a silver-like material that is, as of yet, unknown. Object has a "ring" surrounding the mirror surface that joins it to the main body of the mirror, this "ring" has a diameter of 30 centimeters. SCP-XXXX, save for the mirror surface, is covered in carvings that seam to have the following themes:
• Birds / Avians
• Religious / Satanic
It appears, currently, that SCP-XXXX can not be damaged, broken, or shattered; This could not be confirmed, and more experimentation has been approved.
When SCP-XXXX is viewed directly and unobstructed, subjects report an entity, hereby referred to as SCP-XXXX-02, appears in the mirror. SCP-XXXX-02 appears to be a young, Caucasian human male, with short, black hair, approximately one and eight tenths (1.8) meters in height; Subjects report entity appears in a desert-like climate with red-colored sand, possibly iron oxide.
When SCP-XXXX-02 is viewed, subjects report the entity, seemingly trying to escape the mirror via blunt force; This has proven to be unsuccessful. It is currently believed that SCP-XXXX-01 can not leave this location.
Origin:
SCP-XXXX was found in a warehouse in the Permsky District, Russia. Object came into the foundation's possession after a police raid of the warehouse, and subsequent damage of the mirror, which seemed to remain untouched after ██, 7.62 millimeter bullets impacted the object; Multiple local, and federal police had observed this mirror's effects, and soon after the foundation was contacted.
