SCP Idea: The Melody of Chaos
Item#: None (pending assigment)
Object Class: Safe
Special Contaiment Procedures: SCP-XXX is to be contained in an 8x8 meter soundproof containment room and located in the middle of the room on a lectern. The room should be at a cool temperature, free from dust and moisture, and lit with dim light. Along with that, at the end of the room on the left side, there is a grand piano for testing. It should be cleaned and maintained weekly to ensure that it is ready for use.
SCP-XXX is located in Sector-█ of Site-19.
Description: SCP-XXX are the scores of a concerto played in piano compoused by the musician Gilles Touré in the year ████.The composition is called [REDACTED], it is handwritten with black ink on cream-colored sheets. Although deteriorated by time the notes can still be read clearly.
SCP-XXX is divided in three parts identified as SCP-XXX-1-3
When a part of the concert is played separately, regardless of wich part the test subjects who listen to it for more than two minutes show headaches, nausea an dizziness. Despite this, most of the subjects want to continue listening to it for their own free will, the other part decides to abandon the test due to their state of health. (This is known as Phase 1.)
Nevertheless, when listening to SCP-XXX-1 and SCP-XXX-2 chronologically, after Phase 1 has passed , the subject begins to show violent behaviors against the personnel and anyone who prevents them for listening to the music, at this point listening to it is a necessity not a pleasure. Subjects begin to say meaningless phrases like "It will come for us", "It's way it's the only way" and "It is the light, It is the Truth", accompanied by anxiety attacks, spontaneous laughter and hallucinations. Hallucinations are perceived differently depending on the subject, ranging from their worst fears to what they love the most, the latter being the most common (This is known as Phase 2).
Due test subjects enter a state of anger and in most of the cases appear to not obbey orders, all security personnel, if necessary, are authorized to eliminate the subjects to protect their own integrity and that of other staff members and Class-D personnel.
Discovery: SCP-XXX was discovered after Dr. Weiss found some writings from the 19th century, where the existence of a beautiful piece of music that corrupted anyone who listened to it was referenced.
SCP-XXX-1 was found in one of the Touré's properties in █████, France. It was hidden in a secret compartment discovered due to the construction plans. Along with the music sheet, candles, salt, torture tools and remains of human skeletons (some of wich had human bite marks on them) were found.
Due to the small size of some of the remains, it is estimated that the victims would be between [DATA EXPUNGED] years old.
SCP-XXX-2 was recovered after the succesful Operation Blackout against the Brotherhood of Light main facility located in [Redacted]. The operation was carried out by a squad of Epsilon 6.
The location of SCP-XXX-3 is still unkwown as well its as possible effects on those who hear it. It is theorized that they could be the same as in Phase 1, although what could cause playing the full concerto is and probably will be a mystery forever.
