Item #: SCP-???
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-??? is currently contained within Site-88's Anomalous Vehicle Containment Bay. Due to it autonomous movement, all of it's tires are to be covered with wheel clamps to prevent possible containment breaches.
During tests, two personnel from the Medical Department are to be on standby to collect the output subjects from the SCP and conduct examinations. After all exams are conducted and DNA samples taken, subjects are to be put in Level 0 Personnel housing and kept under close monitoring.
Description: SCP-??? is an abandoned 1998 Thomas Saf-T-Liner city bus originally found in ███████, Michigan following the disappearance of several persons from off the street.
At the point of discovery, SCP-??? had 2 flat rear left tires and a total of 5 broken windows. Since the Foundation's recovery, all damages have been repaired and 6 tests have been conducted.
On the inside and out, SCP-??? looks like a normal city bus. Tests have concluded that it's abnormalities only occur between the hours of 0800 and 1700 which have been found to be prime operating hours for buses in the city. This shall henceforth be called its "Activation Time". During SCP-???'s activation time, the bus starts up and begins to drive a random route. (Interrogations have concluded the bus had a different route each day.)
Previous CCTV recordings have shown that at night, the SCP appears like a normal city bus, yet only appears at 1 stop a day. Each stop never having more than one person. Shortly after boarding, the subject will realize they have taken the wrong bus, the SCP will begin it's changing process.
It is unsure how SCP-??? gained it's damages before containment, but is being monitored for any other abnormalities.
Testing Log ???-a:
Item used: Two (2) Class-D Personnel. One male, one female.
Conclusion: Both personnel were transformed into adolescents. One 14 year old male and one 17 year old female.
Notes: N/A
Testing Log ???-b:
Item Used: One (1) adult German Shepherd.
Conclusion: The subject was reverted to an infant form. After testing, was given to Dr. Viera
Notes: It's awfully useless, but it can be very useful in other circumstances as well.
Discovery: This entity was obtained in ███████, Michigan following the disappearance of many individuals and the sudden appearance of orphaned minors between the ages of 11-19.
So far the total amount of those missing stands at 26; the amount of minors recovered from the SCP stands in like.
Agents placed in local law enforcement took notice of the amount of missing persons and rogue child reports that were piling up. In most reports, the child recovered was said to appear dazed, as if in shock, sometimes wearing clothes too big for them. When interrogated, the children often remarked that the last thing they remember was getting onto ‘the bus’. Interrogations indicate that the bus matches no known automobile owned by the city, nor state. When asked where the bus was headed, they refused to answer. And when asked the location of the bus, they refused to answer.
Eventually reports of an abandoned city bus caught the attention of local law enforcement. When investigated, the responding officer, Officer █████, disappeared into the bus, where the doors promptly closed. His partner, a Foundation Agent, immediately began attempting to free the officer, but to know avail. In an interview, he stated “Nothing would budge”
After 10 minutes of silence, the doors reopened and out stepped a teenage male of about 15 years in an oversized law enforcement uniform, similar to the one worn by Officer █████. The Agent immediately contacted the Foundation following this event, and a missing persons report was filed for Officer █████.
Addendum 1: Incident ???-1
During a test, one SCP-???'s wheel clamps had mysteriously taken damage and broken off. This was not noticed originally. After the test subject boarded and was locked inside, SCP-??? began to drive off despite its wheel clamps. Members of the Security Department used another vehicle to block the SCP's way and it was towed back to its containment location. Containment procedures to be updated.
Notes: I don't know what to make of this. Is it possible that the SCP is somewhat sentient? If so, then we might have a problem on our hands. -Dr. Viera
