Item #: SCP-???
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: As SCP-??? is impossible to contain completely, the Foundation will instead use its assets to trace down the source
Foundation Agents will sweep through all major towns and cities on the East Coast of the United States for any trace of SCP-???. Should SCP-??? be detected, all portions are to be confiscated and relocated to Site-98 for testing and destruction. If possible, the distribution site of SCP-??? is to be located and destroyed. Before destruction, the distribution site is to be searched for any clues as to where SCP-??? is manufactured.
In the event that a victim of SCP-??? is detected, and they have treatable symptoms, they are to be contained and relocated to the nearest site for immediate medical treatment. If the subject has reached or surpassed this point, they are to be placed in a biological containment chamber for their eventual expiration.
Should the manufacturing location of SCP-??? ever be found, MTF Beta-7 will be assembled and sent to raid the facility as SCP-??? poses a major biological threat. Any and all items constructing, containing, or using SCP-??? are to be destroyed using extreme heat.
Description: SCP-??? is a brand of toothpaste found specifically on the East Coast of the United States in many major cities and towns. Every container of SCP-??? is exactly the same. They are all the size of a normal toothpaste container, jet black, and read:
Benny's Friendly Bacterial Paste!
Fighting fire with a stronger fire since 1934
Each bottle of SCP-??? looks normal, but the real anomaly is on the inside. When used on any organic material, SCP-??? releases an intense strain of Necrotizing Fasciitis that is not normally encountered by normal means. The infection starts at the point of contact between SCP-??? and the organism and spreads rapidly to other parts of the body. The entire cycle of the infection takes between 7 and 8 hours; always resulting in the death of the subject.
- 1 hour after application, rashes will begin to appear all over the body of the subject.
- 2 hours after application, the subject will show an intense fever and begins to show minor blood loss.
- After 4 hours, the infection becomes resistant to all antibiotics as wounds increase in size and severity. The subject begins to lose hair, teeth, and other portions of body fat and skin.
- Finally, after 7 hours of exposure, the subject expires.
