Description: SCP-XXXX is a modern, black, Prometheus Labs¹ modem that creates 'lag'² in a 5 by 5 by 5 meter area. SCP-XXXX is known to create a multitude of anomalous symptoms SCP-XXXX itself is anomalous, but not its connection.³

SCP-XXXX was discovered in Michael ██████ and Joseph ████'s dorm on 7/4/████ when Michael ██████ was arrested for kidnapping Joseph ████, his roomate. Michael ██████, who previously was scheduled to become a researcher at the foundation due to his high knowledge in theoretical and particle physics, as well as chemistry even though only being in college until the director of site 348, known as Sonderance, permitted Michael to research and oversee testing with SCP-XXXX to prove his worth to the foundation by freeing Joseph himself before 9/7/████.⁴

Foreword: Talk of the incident that caused SCP-XXXX to be discovered and how Michael and Joseph acquired SCP-XXXX

Dr. Gorand: So could you tell me how you obtained SCP-XXXX

Michael: So, one day I was out walking to Joseph's and I's dorm from a store to get some snacks
Dr. Gorand: Then what happened?

Michael: Well, I was walking in the ally which was a shortcut to our dorm and there was some homeless looking dude and as I was walking past he offered me the modem and said to me "were all connected". when I got back to the dorm Joseph and I were super stoked about the free wifi. Everything was fine for the first few weeks but In like the second term of the year things started to get strange
Dr. Gorand: Strange how?

Michael: well, things started to disappear and move when we were pretty sure we put them somewhere else, but once I dropped some coffee near the modem and then it like… reacted by throwing the mug at me then and once I walked through a chair. that teleported seconds later

Michael: So I asked joseph to throw the box away. Know what happened next? Joseph took the damned thing outside and then it fucking teleported! teleported! then he takes his gun and tries to shoot it then h… he disappeared

On 2/13/████ Michael was heading towards SCP-XXXX's chamber, once there he attacked a guard, disarmed him, entered SCP-XXXX's chamber, Michael then pulled out his weapon and attacked SCP-XXXX causing him to be sent to the menu
