Item #: SCP-9836
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-9836 must be kept inside a large 10*10*10 meter corundum box surrounded with quartz crystals pounded into the box. This is required as SCP-9836 is capable of destroying anything below the level of corundum on the Moh's Hardness Scale. The quartz crystals pounded into the corundum however, keep the entity from actually making a single dent into the box which has as of yet been impossible to find out the answer to as of why this occurs.
SCP-9836's containment chamber will need to always be heated to a specific temperature of 30 degrees Celsius every morning at approximately 10:30 am Eastern Time Zone for a full 30 minutes and no more intentional temperature changes afterwards until the next 24 hours. If these needs are not met, SCP-9836 will produce a severelly high pitched noise that will destroy the eardrums of human beings under the age of 24.
Description: SCP-9836 is an absurdly large concrete Joiner's Mallet that is completely immune to all damage whatsoever. SCP-9836 is capable of speaking to whatever it pleases in a range of 4 meters by what most people would call, Telepathy. It is fluent in all languages but very much so prefers English. It is very agressive at times but can be very respectful. SCP-9836 is completely covered in the blood of thousands of previously living beings. SCP-9836 was originally found underneath the foundation of the ██████████ Tower in September ██, 19██. Workers that were repairing the foundation of the tower were interested in it and when one of them went to touch it which resulted in the entity waving around, killing all of the workers. It was reported to foundation personnel and was safely brought to Site-14.
Addendum Log: 9836-1
Dr. ██████████ is allowed access to SCP-9836 for an interview. The corundum box is lifted for him to go inside. He is instructed to write down everything that SCP-9836 tells him.
Dr. ██████████: Hello, SCP-9836. How is your morning?
SCP-9836: Horrible.
Dr. ██████████: Why is that now?
SCP-9836: I had a nightmare last night.
Dr. ██████████: About what?
SCP-9836: Being destroyed…
Dr. ██████████: But you are immortal!
SCP-9836: I know that. I just had a nightmare.
Dr. ██████████: Okay then… May I ask you any questions of your past or your thoughts and abilities?
SCP-9836: Go ahead. I am listening.
Dr. ██████████: Why have you killed countless living beings?
SCP-9836: Defense.
Dr. ██████████: Please elaborate.
SCP-9836 is silent.
Dr. ██████████: Alright… Who would you say, you are okay with interacting with in a good manner?
SCP-9836: You of course… And… Uhh… Umm…
SCP-9836 flings up and into the floor repeatedly as if it were thinking.
SCP-9836: Ah, yes! The particles!
Dr. ██████████: What do you mean?
SCP-9836: The particles. The quarks, the atoms, the protons, the neutrons, the electrons, the cells… Everything that makes up the universe.
Dr. ██████████: Umm… Okay…?
Dr. ██████████: Are you truly capable of flying?
SCP-9836: Like a bird, no. Like a turkey, yes.
Dr. ██████████: How much force do you put into a physical move?
SCP-9836: Any force I would like.
Dr. ██████████: Do you have any requests?
SCP-9836: Yes. I would love to have some entities come inside here for me to destroy… I do not know why… But I have such a big urge to destroy you… Of course, I will not do that!
Dr. ██████████: Thank you… I am sorry to tell you about this but, we cannot really have living beings join you inside this room very much… Especially human beings like me…
SCP-9836: Oh… Okay… That is all then. Thank you, good sir.
Dr. ██████████: You too, I will be back soon for another interview. Until then, goodbye, my friend.
SCP-9836: Chow… Ha… Ha ha ha…
Addendum: 9836-2
A test has been authorised by Dr. ██████████ to put a robot designed to be almost exactly like a human being.
SCP-9836 drags along the floor and to the robot.
SCP-9836 then makes a high pitched noise that alarmed a few guards monitoring the containment chamber but no negative effects occurred.
SCP-9836 then swings back and forth into the robot, damaging the outer shells and insides.
SCP-9836 keeps this up for 2 hours before stopping and dragging into a corner and staying perfectly still. The robot is completely destroyed and is no more than small pieces of sharp coiled steel and wires.
