"You did well for the organization today, Deus Ex. Two new subjects captured, not many Agents could accomplish such a thing." Dues Ex stood in the Commander's office, his black Exoskeleton shining in the officers' lamplight.

"Childs play, Sir." Deus replied in a deep, electronic voice.

The Commander took a drink from his glass of brandy, giving a grunt and pursing his lips at the taste before holding out the glass to Deus. "You should have some, you've deserved it." The armored entity shakes his head in response.

"I don't drink." He says flatly.
The man pulls back his glass and stares for a moment as if sizing up a mortal enemy before a fight.

"You should try. It might make you feel more…human." The commander says.
Deus stands, staring at him. His face was unseeable under his shiny, black visor. It made the man nervous, his seasoned and trained anxiety telling him the stone-still entity in front of him was invisibly coiled in preparation to attack.

"You have permission to speak freely, Deus Ex." He adds hoping to spur something out of the darkness of the glossy visor.

"I feel fine as I am, Sir." Is all that comes out. The Commander grunts in defeat.

"Well, sit. I don't like being loomed over." He points to a pair of chairs behind Deus.
Deus looks back, gracefully and silently sitting in the leather armchair. He knew what was going on here, the Commander was trying to analyze him, find any personal fault, any weakness that could be exploited in the future. No matter how good with weapons a member of the SCP was, every agent, every member of administration was highly intelligent and would dissect anything they couldn't simply fit under a microscope.
