Special Containment Procedures: All information regarding the anomalous nature of SCP-4567-1 is to expunged from all public records. MTF Iota-10 "Damn Feds" are to monitor government historical catalogs for any mention of SCP-4567-1 that violates the "Brutus Policy". If any violations to the "Brutus Policy" are detected online, MTF Mu-4 "Debuggers" are to delete the information and replace it with standardized counter-memetic agents. Only 8 documents describing SCP-4567 are to exist, which include this digital file, four G.O.C. anomaly reports, one classified edited document found in the ITU library, [DATE EXPUNGED], and one digital copy saved on a shared private server if any digital copies between the Foundation or the G.O.C. become corrupted. Individuals aware of SCP-4567-1's true nature other than approved Foundation or G.O.C. staff are to be detained, interrogated, amnestied, and released.
Any changes to the "Brutus Policy" require a two-thirds vote by the O5 council for it to be forwarded to G.O.C. High Command for evaluation and approval.
Description: SCP-XXX is the anomalous temporal event, where a rogue Chaos Insurgency agent by the name of "Samuel Lenin"1 traveled back through time and became a dictator of Rome known now as "Julius Caesar". SCP-4567-1 infiltrated the Foundation on an unknown date, and on 07/13/1997, successfully subdued MTF Gamma-6 and entered SCP-052.
The SCP-XXX caused a ripple across time creating new historical documents
The SCP-XXX event was soon identified, and multiple precautions were initiated to prevent a "Broken Masquerade" Scenario. The Foundation and the Global Occult Coalition quickly found that cooperation was necessary to successfully contain SCP-XXX.
Addendum-XXX-1: "The Brutus Policy": The SCP Foundation and the Global Occult Coalition recognized that due to the sudden influx of SCP-XXX-3 instances conflicting with standard historical documents, a new history must be made. The Brutus Policy is the revised history of SCP-XXX-1, created to conceal SCP-XXX-1's anomalous nature. The policy goes as follows:
- SCP-XXX never occurred.
- SCP-XXX-1 was born into a Roman family.
- SCP-XXX-1 took over Rome as a dictator due to his brilliant tactics.
- SCP-XXX-1 was killed by Roman senators.
- All instances of SCP-XXX-3 are the result of 2,000 years of history.
