Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXX is to be contained in a low light reinforced storage locker. SCP-XXX's anomalous effect should only be used in a strict testing environment on approved and consenting personnel. All instances of SCP-XXX-1 are to be documented.

Description: SCP-XXX is a 1980 series Bronica SQ camera. Whenever SCP-XXX takes a picture of a living creature, the produced photo instead depicts the deceased creature's corpse. These photos (from now on labeled as an SCP-XXX-1 instance) have been used to predict the creature's eventual death. Since the deaths depicted in SCP-XXX-1 instances have been circumvented before (See XXX/01 Log) SCP-XXX's classification has been updated from "Safe" to "Thaumiel".

Log XXX/1-5: The following log is the complete list of the documented SCP-XXX-1 instances.

Subject: D-980.
Photo: D-980 with his neck snapped inside of SCP-173's containment cell
Result: D-980 was scheduled to clean SCP-173 containment cell. For testing purposes, D-980 was reassigned and the depicted death has yet to occur.

Subject: D-1012.
Photo: D-1012 can be seen prone in the middle of her cell.
Result: Surveillance was increased in D-1012's cell. Three days after D-1012's exposure to SCP-XXX, D-1012 died from sudden cardiac arrest. The autopsy showed she died due to natural causes.

Subject: D-1032.
Photo: D-1032 hung over a barbwire fence outside of Site-29 with multiple bullet holes in his back. Multiple orange blurred spots can be seen at the bottom of the fence.
Result: D-1032 was moved to a high-security cell. D-1032 was later killed in a minor security breach by Site guards after he and seven other D-Class attempted to climb the fence outside of Site-29.
Notes: So does SCP-XXX blur out the corpses of people other than the subject? Any other blurred images should be documented. - Researcher Hause

Subject: A chimpanzee.
Photo: A pile of gray ash in a metallic container.
Result: The chimpanzee was closely monitored. As of the creation of the document, the chimpanzee has yet to be terminated.

Subject: D-1240
Photo: D-1240 being stabbed by another D-Class in Site-29's cafeteria. The face of the attacker is blurred out, along with the onlookers.
Result: D-1240 was put under watch by Foundation guards. D-1240 died one week after the photo was taken by D-3880 over a rations dispute.
Notes: So it seems that SCP-XXX blurs out all the faces in its photos expect for the subject. I wonder why. - Researcher Hause
