Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard secure humanoid containment cell. The cell must be guarded by at least two armed guards equipped with tasers. Only personnel with level 4 clearance level are allowed to enter SCP-XXXX's containment cell and must take 1 of the armed guards with them into the cell, those who enter are required to wear special suits preventing SCP-XXXX from touching them. The entrance to the containment cell consists of two doors with a small room in between, these doors may only be opened when permitted personnel recquires to go through and must be closed immediately when the personnel member has walked through the door.

In the case of a containment breach, it is of utmost importance that SCP-XXXX does not leave the site and that all sources of information about the foundation, including personnel who know important foundation information, are evacuated from the site as soon as possible.

Description: SCP-XXXX has a human-like figure, its entire body seems to be composed of a material similar to that of a human brain. Its skin also appears very brain-like, showing many folds. Its head has a brain-like shape and it has two glowing eyes and a vertical crease in the middle that it can utilize as some kind of mouth. SCP-XXXX is able to make sounds with its mouth and appears capable of speaking in English and Spanish

If SCP-XXXX touches any object that contains information, it will absorb this information, leaving the object it touches clean from information and adding this information to its own memory. If it touches a piece of paper with a story on it, the paper will become empty and SCP-XXXX is able to recite the story completely. If SCP-XXXX touches a human, the human will forget everything they know, including how to control their own body, resulting in death; SCP-XXXX will then know everything the victim knew including memories that even the victim could not recall anymore.

Recovery: SCP-XXXX was found by the foundation in the Mexican state Chihuahua, just outside the town of ███. After reports from the town of ███ that people had died mysteriously and many books and papers that previously contained words were now blank. The foundation found it necessary to research this and dispatched a team to capture a potential anomalous being. After the team found SCP-XXXX wandering just outside the town they were able to quickly capture it, SCP-XXXX didn’t manage to touch anyone in the process.

Interviewer: [Dr. G]

Foreword: [Interview right after recovery of SCP-XXXX.]

<Begin Log>

Dr. G: Are you willing to speak to us? Who and what are you?

SCP: I don't know who I am…

Dr. G: What can you tell me about yourself?

SCP: Only that I seek to know.

Dr. G: What do you want to know?

SCP: As much as I can find.

Dr. G: Is that why you killed those people? You wanted to know what they knew?

SCP: I killed them? Killed… killing…?

Dr. G: Are you going to answer my question?

SCP: Yes. I didn't know I would end their lives… their lives are mine now, I know everything they knew… that they felt. What killed them… I see it in the screen before your eyes. It fills me with fear.

Dr. G: That's your reflection.

SCP: Please. It terrifies me, is that me? I feel the fear each on of them felt when they saw that.

Dr. G: Are you afraid of yourself?

SCP: That can't be me… is that what I look like? I've never seen myself before. Now I don't want to see myself again, please take it away.

Dr. G: I'm sorry, but we have more questions.

SCP: I need to think… I don't want more questions… come back later.
Dr. G: Well uhm… as you wish

SCP: Thank you
