Dr Williham

Item #: SCP-X

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:

A bar or rod with a 0.5cm to 1cm hole drilled through the center over a surface is to be used to contain SCP-X. SCP-X is to be placed in the hole with its handle facing up and the rod is to be suspended at least 11cm over the ground to prevent its tip from touching the ground. A second bar is to be mounted over SCP-X such that it comes into contact with the handle and prevents movement.

Following incident X-1, the clockwise motion of SCP-X is be prevented by supergluing the handle to the upper bar. The superglue should be monitored on a daily basis for any signs of degradation. Replication of the superglue must be supervised by no less than two foundation personnel who have been briefed on the nature of SCP-X.

Object Description:

SCP-X is a screwdriver that randomly achieves flight through anomalous means. During these events, SCP-X will seek out nearby screws that are screwed into a hole and unscrew them, changing its tip to match the screw. If there are no screws in the vicinity, SCP-X will make contact with a nearby surface, anomalously manifest screws at the point of contact, and unscrew those, leaving a hole in the surface.

SCP-X was first discovered when rescue workers searching through the rubble of the collapsed [REDACTED] building in downtown [REDACTED] discovered many mutilated corpses that were covered in screw-shaped holes. Foundation agents infiltrated the rescue team, witnessed SCP-X's anomalous properties, and transported it back to Site-██, where it was contained without casualties.

Name: Dr. Williham
Date: DD/MM/YYYY
Total Items: 3 Amazon Basics Brand Door Knob with keyholes.

Input: One Amazon Basics Brand Door Knob
Setting: 1:1
Output: One door knob with an identical appearance to the input. However, testing revealed that the door the output is installed in is incapable of being opened by anyone other than Dr. Williham.

It seems like SCP-914 was aware of the fact that I wanted to put a new doorknob on my apartment's front door. - Dr. Williham

Input: One Amazon Basics Brand Door Knob
Setting: Fine
Output: One door knob with an identical appearance to the input, with the exception that the keyhole has been replaced by a button. Testing revealed that the knob's lock only unlocked when the button was pressed by Dr. Williham.

Interesting repetition. - Dr. Williham

Input: One Amazon Basics Brand Door Knob
Setting: Very Fine
Output: One door knob with an identical appearance and properties to the output of the previous test. When installed in a door, opening that door will turn the door into a portal leading to Dr. Williham's apartment. Item was disassembled and it's remains were disposed of.

It certainly would have improved the commute, but unfortunately presents a security risk in the event of a containment breach. - Dr. Williham
