Item #: SCP-4###
Object class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Admittance to Area 133 is to be restricted to personnel with at least class 2-clearance. Following the 7/12/ ████ incident at least one Scranton Reality Anchor must be kept on site. The entrance to SCP-4### is to be covered with a heavy steel security door that requires level 4 clearance to open. Area 133 is to lockdown all external entrances and exits prior to opening SCP-4### for testing. All testing must be preformed within 2 hour 12 minutes after which point the SCP-4### is to be evacuated and resealed. Should a SCP-4###-3 instance appear within SCP-4###, Area 133 is to initiate a full security lockdown and activate the Scranton Reality Anchor until SCP-4### instance is neutralized or disappears.
At no point is the area within SCP-4### covered in SCP-4###-3 to be stepped on or allow fluids of any sort to come into contact with it.
Description: SCP-4### is a chamber made of an unknown grey material located under [REDACTED] in Alaska. The exterior grey material has thus far proved impenetrable to any forms of damage. SCP-4### is known to alter it's size and dimensions on a seemingly random basis between 20x40x60 meters and 60x100x500 meters. Regardless of size, the entrance remains the same, a 2x4x4 meter passage blocked by a marble block inscribed with Latin and ancient Greek writing confirmed to have originated from the New Testament.
The inside of SCP-4### is constructed out of a blue-grey material. The style of the construction alters with the size of the chamber. Known architectural styles include Roman, Gothic, and Victorian. Regardless of construction the style is always one of a large open chamber lined on the side with alcoves filled with statues of unknown origin (hereafter designated as SCP-4###-2. Each instance of SCP-4###-2 matches it's opposite across the hall in shape and material. Almost all instances of SCP-4###-2 are similar to humans and all seem to depict armed figures. Behind each statue, carved into the alcove appear to be messages in varying languages. Methods of carving as well as message differ between statues.
In the center of the chamber, cut into the ground, is a circle with a 15m diameter willed with varying inscriptions that change when SCP-4###. Inscriptions range from alchemical circles to large equations of what are believed to be transdimensional physics, most have yet to be deciphered. If the chamber is occupied for 2 hours 12 minutes SCP-4###-3 inevitably glow and the chamber undergoes a 'shift' into a different sized SCP-4###. Anything personnel or equipment within SCP-4### vanish as the chamber shifts. Anything lost to a shift should be considered permanently lost. Filling SCP-4###-3 with liquid will trigger a shift as well, type of liquid seems inconsequential for activation..

| SCP-4###-2-1 | SCP-4###-2 depicts European medieval knight with armor of a style dating to approx 1300 AD and bearing classic longsword. Constructed out of cast iron with red paint on torso in the shape of a cross. Chemical analysis of paint also dates it to around 1300 AD. Inscription carved in a picture of a serpent possessing sets of wings and carrying a lit torch in it's mouth. |
| SCP-4###-2-3 | 4###-2-3 is garbed in what appears to be a long robe and wide hat both made out of an unknown plant based material. Robe and hat cannot be removed and obscure figures appearance though sufficient force was able to remove samples. Carbon dating dates the material at around 48,000 years old. A single covered appendage stretches from the presumed shoulder and holds what appears to be a handful of fire. Carved through what appears to be high water pressure is a message written in a language similar to traditional Chinese that is read in a outward spiral and has yet to be fully translated. |
While the number of alcoves change with the size of SCP-4### the order in which the SCP-4###-2 are does not change. At it's smallest SCP-4### hold 14 variations of SCP-4###-2. At it's largest it holds 120 variations.
