Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4387 is to be kept in an 8-digit code locked safe on Site-63, and can only be accessed by approval of the Site Director, or a member of the 05. In the event of a containment breach, SCP-4387 is to be handed to Dr. ██████ for safe keeping, if they are not available, SCP-4387 is to be handed to the highest ranking official available. In the event of a mass containment breach, if it is decided that is the greatest option, SCP-4387 is to be shredded and then incinerated by any means necessary.
Description: SCP-4387 is a leather-bound book of unknown origin, titled "Cause and Effect". It was recovered on 19/8/20██ from the apartment of Joshua Brown, a 19 year old University student at the University of Cambridge. He called 999 after writing "The death of Ian Sanders" into the book, which then happened 5 days later at 19:04. Further testing has revealed that almost anything written in the book will happen within 5-6 days.
**Addendum: ** An extermination attempt of SCP-682 was approved by 05-█. Researcher James Thornton was instructed to write "The extermination of SCP-682" Roughly 5 days later, SCP-682 could be heard shouting in pain from its containment cell, as it could be seen as if it was being torn apart from the inside, this happened for 92 minutes until it suddenly stopped, and SCP-682 proceeded to breach containment and kill said Researcher James Thompson, SCP-682 then lay down and appeared to sleep until re-containment was achieved. (Note, 7 D-Class and 3 Foundation Personnel were killed in the incident.) Further attempts to exterminate immortal SCPs have received no reaction from SCP-4387.
