SCP-XXXX in it's containment safe, before addendum-B1
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a standard sealed container at Site 19 and is not to be viewed by any foundation personnel under any circumstances, as decreed by O5 command after addendum-4. If anyone is sighted reading or having read SCP-XXXX, they are to be terminated on sight. (Refer to Document A3)
Description: SCP-XXXX is a journal 30 cm wide and 70 cm long, belonging to Dr. Xu, a clearance level █ scientist from Site 66. SCP-XXXX has been analyzed through recordings and has been discovered to contain 200 pages in total, however only 120 pages contain words. Through experiments 1 to 4, only 50 pages have been read. Because of the affects of reading SCP-XXXX, further experiments have been forbidden by O5 command.
20 minutes after reading SCP-XXXX, the subject will begin to spasm on the ground, losing consciousness. They are also observed to be foaming at the mouth. During this time, the subject's skeletal structure begins re-arranging itself to that of the structure of Dr. Xu's. This would, most of the time, kill the subject and cease all higher brain functions (see Experiment 4).
50 minutes after reading SCP-XXXX, the subject will stop rearranging it's skeletal structure and attempt to get up, however, it is not always possible as the transformation usually mutilates the subject's muscle tissue and organs, causing internal hemorrhaging. From now on the subject will be known as SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 will remain passive until it sees another human within it's vision. SCP-XXXX-1 has not responded to any questions given to it in person or through speakers, (see Experiment 1).
When SCP-XXXX-1 sees another human within it's sights, it will begin to shriek at the subject to "Be silent". About 20 seconds after this action, SCP-XXXX-1 will attempt to kill the subject by impaling them with it's bones, which can often be found protruding from it's body.
SCP-XXXX-1 cannot currently be destroyed by physical damage. The only known way is to drown them. (See Document A1)
Addendum-A1: A body of a foundation personnel has been sighted washing up on a beach at ████, Cuba. The subject was identified as Dr. Derek Xu, from site 66. Upon his body the local police had reported seeing a notebook which "had remarkably not been damaged from the water". Before the police could inspect the notebook, MTF Fret seized control of the site and applied Class B amnesics to all personnel with knowledge of the incident. The body of Dr. Derek Xu was identified there and the book stored in a standard object containment safe until more information could be discovered about it. All objects and foundation personnel were safely transported to Site 43 without incident.
Upon arrival at Site 43, the notebook was dismissed as a non-SCP item, since no anomalous properties had been identified on it. Dr. Oren and Dr. Ali both read pages 1 through 6 of SCP-XXXX before experiencing the anomalous effects of the journal. 50 minutes afterward, the euclid and keter class containment cells were breached. MTF Fret was the first responder to breach, as they were currently stationed at the site. A Go-Pro mounted on one of the MTF member's helmet is recorded here.
Cam Carrier: Fret-4 "Rick"

Fret-1 "Raine": Did you hear about that new restaurant just outside this site? It's fucking amazing. It's better than Harvey's I'm telling you Abtine.
Fret-3 "Abtine": Naw man, Harvey's the best, though I'd like to try out that new restaurant. How bout we go after wrapping this up?
Fret-2 "Arash": You guys and your fucking restaurants. It honestly tastes like horseshit man. Remember that one place we went to? Where you get meat in between bread?
Fret-4 "Rick": You mean McDonalds?
Fret-2 "Arash": Yeah that place. God awful.
Fret-5 "Michael": You can stay here, Arash, but I'm going to go check out this place. What's it's name?
Fret-1 "Raine": I think it's called-
Containment Breach Alarm Sounds. Each member of the MTF team looks at each other in confusion.
Fret-1 "Raine": Oh shit. Oh fuck. Michael and Abtine, head to the surveillance room and give me a report on this breach! Arash and Rick, come with me to the armory we're gonna have to secure this shit. FUCK! We're supposed to be on break, then we get this shit.
Fret-4 "Rick": Sarge, calm down. Let's just get through this. We don't even know if there was a serious containment breach. It'll probably be over in a couple of minutes.
Fret-1 "Raine": Don't jinx us, Rick. Now let's contain this shit. Go go go!
Video feed shows Rick, Raine and Arash rushing down the hallway pass several containment rooms, several of which were open. They turn a hallway and make it to a security checkpoint. The security checkpoint is in a state of disrepair, completely destroyed. Open wires point outwards and blood soaks the entire place.
Fret-1 "Raine": The fuck did I say about not jinxing us.
Fret-4 "Rick": My bad. Whatever the hell causes this has gotta be Euclid or above.
The team inches through the security checkpoint, small firearms at the ready. Twisted wires and mangled bones are strewn across the place. The team comes across a body on the floor.
Fret-1 "Raine": Arash move up! Check for vitals.
Fret-2 "Arash": You don't have to tell me twice. Fuck. Please tell me your alive… Fuck fuck fuck- He's alive.
The team sighs with relief.
Fret-1 "Raine": How's his vitals?
Fret-2 "Arash": Could be better I'm telling you. He was impaled in the fucking shoulder by a sharp stick of some sorts. We need to get him to the medical bay if he wants a chance at living.
Fret-1 "Raine": Arash can you take him to the medical bay? I believe it's floor B.
Fret-2 "Arash": You fucking kidding me? You want me to lug this guy up the elevators in the middle of a containment breach all by myself? At least give me Rick.
Fret-4 "Rick": Wait wait wait. No one's taking me anywhere. But I agree with Arash. He ain't gonna survive whatever did this if he encounters it.
Before Fret-1 could reply, a large roaring can be heard above. The ground visibly shakes in front of them. Fret-2 looks beyond the security checkpoint.
Fret-2 "Arash": Whatever the fuck is up there, I'm not going anywhere NEAR it.
Fret-1 "Raine": Are you questioning my orders? Or are you just a coward? I will have a word with you when this is ove-
Fret-4 "Rick": Stop bickering! Quiet! I think I can hear something coming…
Fret-4 aims his pistol at the space beyond the checkpoint. It is unknown what he has seen due to the poor quality of the camera.
Fret-2 "Arash": Rick, what do you see?
Fret-4 begins muttering to himself, saying phrases the task force presumably can't hear, as it is incomprehensible.
Fret-1 "Raine": Rick, do you copy? Respond! RICK!
Fret-4 drops his gun and continues to mutter. He remains frozen in that spot.
Fret-1 "Raine": THE FUCK IS THAT!? FIRE OPEN FIRE!
Fret-2 "Arash": IT'S GOT RICK DO I STILL-

<Begin Log, 3:16 PM>
Fret-3 "Abtine": Open up! This is MTF Fret! We have commands to review camera footage!
No one replies from the inside of the security room.
Fret-3 "Abtine": Open up! This is the last time I'm going to tell you-
Fret-5 "Michael": Oh forget this!
Fret-5 shoots the lock open with his pistol and preforms a standard breach into the security room. Three guards lay dead across the floor, chairs turned over.
Fret-3 "Abtine": The hell happened here? Michael, check for vitals. I'll review the footage.
Fret-5 "Michael": Roger that.
Several minutes pass as Fret-3 rolls back the camera surveillance footage. Abtine looks closely at the screen. A large face appears on the camera screen. Abtine reflexively jumps back.
Fret-3 "Abtine": Holy shit! What the fuck? It's COMING OUT OF THE SCREEN OPEN FIRE!
Several bullets are fired before the figure retreats back within the camera.
Fret-3 "Abtine": Oh fuck. The hell was that?
Fret-5 "Michael": Whatever it was, I'm out of ammunition. We can't stay here, it might come back.
Fret-3 "Abtine": Come over here Michael. Do you see that?
The duo leans closer to the camera they are inspecting. Go-Pro shows a video of a large cafeteria. A scientist later identified as Dr. Oren was seen undergoing the transformation
Fret-3 "Abtine": The fuck-? Fret-3 reporting in, we've discovered the reason for the containment breach. Come in Fret squad? Is anyone there? I repeat, is anyone there?
Fret-5 "Michael": Shit. Let's get outta here before-

Closing Statement: This note was found on the floor of the armory of Site-43. Recovery teams found no sign of the body of who wrote this. MTF Fret is presumed to be KIA. All instances of SCP-XXXX-1 were found to missing, as with SCP-XXXX itself.
Addendum-A2: After the events of addendum-A1, O5 command unanimously agreed to classify the journal as an SCP and put it's containment as a high priority. The effects of reading the journal were discovered through recovered security tapes.
On January 3rd, 20██, 13 instances of SCP-XXXX-1 were found ravaging a coal mine in Alaska, USA. The foundation was notified and immediately dispatched 3 MTF teams to contain the situation. MTF teams Drej, Montie, and Camara were equipped with heavy rifles, night vision, explosives, and flame units. The 3 teams were split among 2 helicopters, with Drej and Montie with B-1 and Camara in B-2. Each team consisted of 5 members, highly trained, but this being their first containment mission.
Each MTF member was equipped with a high quality camera on the helmets. The following is a recording of what happened during Recovery-A1 and A2 of MTF Drej, Montie and Camara.
Cam Carrier: Drej-1 "Aidan"
Location: UNKNOWN, Alaska, USA.
Foreword: Team Drej and Montie land 1 km away from where the incident was reported and proceeded to advance toward it.
<Begin Log, ██:██ PM>
Drej-1 "Aidan": Drej reporting in. All team members gucci.
Drej-3 "Eric": Gucci? That ain't exactly professional, sir.
Drej-4 "Edward": Let the man do his thing. There's a reason why he's the leader.
Drej-1 "Aidan": Alright, B-1 meet us at the site and provide aerial support. B-2 remain ready for evac in case we need it. There are at least 13 of these things. Stay on guard. Over.
Montie-1 "Steven" Over the radio : Roger that. Montie moving in. Over.
MTF Montie and Drej move closer and closer to the site. B-1 goes over the site and spots 27 unidentified humanoids.
B-1 Pilot "Amera" Over the radio : Come in Montie and Drej, I'm seeing around 25 hostiles approaching the site. I repeat, 25 unidentified hostiles approaching the site. They are heavily armed and appear to be trained. Contact! CONTACT! They're shooting at me! They-
B-1 is shot down by an explosive, presumably a rocket. B-1 spins out of control and crashes into the coal factory on the site. An explosion of notable size proceeds.
Drej-1 "Aidan": What the fuck-? B-1 report in. B-1 report in-
Several shots are heard over the radio.
Montie-1 "Steven" Over the radio : Taking heavy fire! Requesting backup! They're everywhere! We're surrounded!
Drej-1 "Aidan": Move out! Montie needs us. Go go go!
MTF Drej rushes through the snow. Gunfire can be visibly seen across the sky through streams of light.
Drej-2 "Josh": There! Hostile spotted. Permission to fire?
Drej-1 "Aidan": Yes you fucking permission to fire! GO GO GO! Fire with intent to kill!
More gunfire can be heard going overhead. MTF Drej and Montie group up together and form a tight ring in a what looks like a shell crater.
Drej-1 "Aidan": The hell do we do? We're surrounded!
Drej-2 "Josh": That's a fucking tank. A fucking tank! GET DOW-
The camera on Drej-1's helmet falls into the snow face down. Gunshots can be heard for 37 more minutes, in which gunfire ceases. Footsteps can be heard tromping through the snow. MTF Camara is told not to attempt a rescue mission, less they be killed or captured. The uniforms of the attackers were later identified to be foundation personnel from site-66.
Forward: Manager of site-66 was contacted by O5 command.
O5-█: Is this the site manager of site-66?
██████: It is. Is this O5-█?
O5-█: We have reason to believe that personnel from your site had opened fire on personnel during a recovery mission. You have either failed to report an insurgency or you have allowed these people to attack our personnel. You are hereby demoted from Site Manager. Report to the medical bay for your amnesics.
██████: *██████ laughs* You think that what you say matters? You know nothing. You cannot go against the will of the gods. Come get me. I DARE YOU.
[Connection to site-66 was terminated by ██████]
Cam Carrier: Camara-3 "Isaac"
Location: UNKNOWN, Alaska, USA.
Foreword: MTF Camara disobeys direct orders and attempts a rescue mission on MTF Drej and Montie. B-2 follows behind the squad.
<Begin Log, ██:██ PM>
Camara-1 "Curtis": James, you don't have to do this. We will probably be de-ranked for doing this.
B-2 Pilot "James" Over the radio : Naw man. I'm not a pussy. Let's go rescue some fools.
Camara-1 "Curtis": Alright squad move out. Isaac, you cover the flank. Silencers men-
Camara-2 "Vin": And women.
Camara-1 "Curtis": -and women. We want this to be quiet. Now move out.
Camara-3 moves through the snow and enters the factory through the back. The factory is still smoking from the helicopter crash 49 minutes ago. Camara-3 meets up with the rest of MTF Camara within the factory.
Camara-1 "Curtis": Alright. We searched the entire area. There isn't a sign of a battle ever happening here, except a small crater. No bodies either.
Camara-3 "Isaac": Nothing on my side.
Camara-3 "Isaac": This is a manual elevator right here. Two people will have to stay up here to run the elevator while the other three enter below. There's not going back. We have no idea what's down there. If you don't want to go, back out now.
Contact with MTF Camara ceases at this point. This is likely the result of a device that intercepts messages.
Forward: 31 hours after contact with MTF Camara was lost, Camara-3, Drej-1, and B-2 Pilot appeared at site-78.
Location: Alaska, USA
Camara-3 "Isaac": Is anyone there? We need medical assistance! Help!
Guard-142: Identify yourselves.
B-2 Pilot "James": We made it through hell and back, yet you need us to identify?!? We're MTF Camara! Let us in before we freeze to death. Aidan needs medical assistance. He's hurt.
Guard-142: Wait for further instructions.
B-2 Pilot "James": DID YOU NOT HEAR A THING I SAID!? HE'S DYING!
Guard-142: Drop your weapons. A squad will come out to escort you in.
B-2 Pilot "James": DOES IT LOOK LIKE WE HAVE WEAPONS!?!??!! WE CAN BARELY WALK!
Alpha Squad escorted the team within Site-78. They were held there and interrogated for information.
Interrogation-A1: When Camara-3 was searched, SCP-XXXX was found in his backpack. It was confiscated and placed in a standard safe at the site. Camara-3, B-2 Pilot and Drej-1 were interrogated individually. Pieces of their interrogations were pieced together in Document-B1.
Interviewed: Drej-1 "Aidan", Camara-3 "Isaac", B-2 Pilot "James"
Interviewer: Dr. ████
Foreword: They were interrogated one at a time by Dr. ████ in a standard humanoid interrogation room. O5-█ was present, viewing the interrogation through a one way glass.
<Begin Log>
Dr.████: Camara-3
Camara-3 "Isaac": The name's Isaac. Call me Isaac
Dr.████: Alright then Isaac. We had video and audio feed until you and Camara squad entered that mining ravine. Could you take us step by step through what had happened afterwards?
Camara-3 "Isaac": I… I'd rather not talk about it.
B-2 Pilot "James": Camara-4 and 5 both decided to stay and operate the elevator. The rest of us hopped in the thing and began to descend. Now lemme tell you something doctor. If you were in that dark ravine, you would've pissed your pants. We saw hundreds of those things. Hundreds! As we descended, gunfire erupted from below, nearly shredding the wooden elevator. Good thing that-
Camara-3 "Isaac": Good thing that Vin had a grappling hook. She shot it into the side of the room just as the entire FUCKING platform imploded onto itself. She grabbed me and James. Curtis didn't make it. After that, we landed on the floor, only that it was covered in flesh. All of it. Flesh. It was soft and spongy and sucking in our damn boots. Then hundreds of those things descended on us. Bullets did absolutely nothing against them. If anything it just made them more dangerous. Every bone that we shattered and splintered would only make them faster and more deadly. One of the things rammed themselves against Vin, impaling her on the spot. Oh god.
B-2 Pilot "James": We made our way through a maintenance hall within the ravine. We tried to shoot them, but it didn't do anything… We lost Vin almost immediately. They flanked in to cut us off but Isaac's quick thinking saved us. His flame unit scared off the creatures long enough for us to get inside of the maintenance tunnel. Good thing the door still worked I tell you. We shut that thing closed and barricaded it with my rifle. I was out of ammo anyways.
Dr.████: There was a maintenance tunnel… in a ravine?
B-2 Pilot "James": You see, we wondered that too. Except it wasn't at the top of our to do list, since we were still getting chased by those things… My scrappy rifle wasn't gonna hold them back for long. We made a break for it, and before we knew it, we were running through a hallway, all of the flesh slowly fading away as we moved through the building. Mind you, we were still underground. Who the hell's idea was to build an entire complex underground, and disguise it as a coal mine? We tried at that point to contact the Foundation, but we couldn't get a signal through, probably because we were about a mile or two underground.
Camara-3 "Isaac": Strange thing though. The place looked really familiar to us. There was a cafeteria, a lounge, and several living spaces. The one thing about this place though was that it was deathly silent. We heard nothing but our own footsteps. Imagine our surprise when we run into more foundation personnel.
B-2 Pilot "James": We ran into three other MTF members, all just standing there staring blankly towards each other in a triangle. Strange no? We tried to talk to them, but they wouldn't respond. In fact, they didn't even blink now that I think of it.
Camara-3 "Isaac": When they wouldn't respond, James went up to greet the dudes. He touched on on the shoulder- Then they started shrieking at us. They did NOT sound human whatsoever. Their heads snapped back and they started fucking transforming on us, breaking all their bones and shit. At this moment, I wonder where in my life did I fuck up.
B-2 Pilot "James": Holy shit was I scared. The nearest one pulled out a handgun and shot me right in the fucking leg. Good thing Isaac was there to catch me as I fell. The MTF members… No. The monsters all drew their weapons and yelled for us to "Be Silent". They need to chill out.
Drej-1 "Aidan": Yep. I came in and shot them all. Sounds like me right? I destroyed their asses man, those amalgamations didn't stand a chance.
Dr.████: You called them amalgamations? What makes you say that?
Drej-1 "Aidan": They sure was hell weren't fucking human I'll tell you that much. The bodies were theirs, but not the minds.
B-2 Pilot "James": You won't believe what happened next. This man, I think from Drej team? He flew in through the vents and shot the creatures dead on the spot! These guys dropped dead instantly, not sure why the ones we had to deal with were so fucking resistant.
Camara-3 "Isaac": I hauled James onto his feet and we followed Aidan through the hallways to where he claimed to be a safe haven. He led us to a massive containment room. That's right. A containment room. And that's when he said-
Drej-1 "Aidan": And that's when I said "Welcome to Site-66".
<End Log>
Closing Statement: O5-█ called for a short recess to confer with staff about the interrogations.
Interrogation-A2: After a short recess, O5-█ ordered for the questioning to resume. Calls were sent out to all personnel from Site-66. None were answered.
Interviewed: Drej-1 "Aidan", Camara-3 "Isaac", B-2 Pilot "James"
Interviewer: Dr. ████
Foreword: Dr. ████ re-entered the containment room and sat down with all of the MTF members in the same room, asking questions proposed by the O5 council.
<Begin Log>
Dr. ████: I have several questions for you. Please answer them directly and avoid comments. This is from O5 command do you understand? Tell the truth.
Camara-3 "Isaac", B-2 Pilot "James", Drej-1 "Aidan": Understood.
Dr. ████: How did you confirm that the complex was indeed site-66, Mr. Thompson?
Drej-1 "Aidan": Call me Aidan. The answer to your question is because there were big ass words on the wall that read "Site-66".
Dr. ████: Oh. It is my duty to inform you that Site-66 is not IN Alaska. It was an underground complex stationed near Cuba. Second question: what had happened during the conflict at the factory? Our camera feed cut out shortly after the fighting began.
Drej-1 "Aidan": We got fucked hard. A tank rolled up… A tank! It blasted the hell outta team Montie, then rolled up towards us. Eric threw his flame unit into the tank's gears, causing the entire thing to explode. Saved my life that soldier did. We were completely surrounded, so our only way out was to fight our way into the factory. We managed that with minimal casualties. I don't know who taught those men to aim, but they sure as hell can't hit the broad side of a barn. We grappled down into the ravine and got surrounded by those creatures. You know the sickening imitations of that all look the same? I was the only one in my team to make it to the maintenance hall. I made it to a massive containment cell, where several foundation personnel allowed me to enter. I didn't know what the hell was going on by then. All I knew was that-
Dr. ████: That's enough, Aidan. Third question is directed at Mr. Yung.
Camara-3 "Isaac": Call me Isaac.
B-2 Pilot "James": And don't you dare call me by my last name.
Dr. ████: I'll make note of that. Now, Isaac, tell me. What had happened to the two team members that you left behind at the elevator?
Camara-3 "Isaac": I- I'd rather not talk about it.
Dr. ████: I'm afraid you don't have a choice. May I remind you that this is from the O5 council? It is very serious.
Camara-3 "Isaac": No. I can't.
Dr. ████: I'll give you one last chance, Isaac.
B-2 Pilot "James": It's alright. I'll explain. After we made it to the containment cell, we were greeted by several other Foundation personnel at Site-66. They told us that through the "incident", almost all of the people working at Site-66 was possessed by one SCP object or another. They wouldn't explain what the "incident" was when we asked so we assumed that this was a site breach?
Dr. ████: Site-66 was a site built to specifically contain possessive objects yes.
B-2 Pilot "James": Well, the survivors of that were holed up in this chamber. They'd go scavenge for food every once in a while, but a lot of those who went out never returned. There was about twenty to thirty people left once we arrived. They said they started with about seventy. We stuck around for a bit, but clearly there was something wrong with these people. They'd just wonder off into the halls for no reason, although everyone else claimed they were searching for food. Another thing was the fact that this was a containment chamber, and there WAS no food to begin with. When I asked them about Dr. Xu, they'd all just ignore me. Creeped me out, that's for sure.
Dr. ████: What'd they eat then, if not food?
B-2 Pilot "James": Isaac was hungry, so he asked for food. They brought him a body. A BODY. It looked as if they'd killed one of their own and stored it up as food. These people were not right in the mind.
Drej-1 "Aidan": When I saw the "food" that they gave him, I instantly knew that these people were also affected by the "incident" they described. And I got the fuck outta there. I hauled James onto my should and grabbed Isaac by the hand. We ran out as fast as we could. They were too fast however. They all moved like a single body and blocked off the exits. They demanded that we stay and honor their god. They said something about sacrifice. No joke I was scared shitless.
B-2 Pilot "James": At that moment I'd had enough of that. I popped reached into my backpack and grabbed a flaregun. I popped one flare after the other, loading a new one in as I shot out another. They backed away from the flames like it would light them on fire. I guess it would actually.
Drej-1 "Aidan": Isaac and I bashed the exit open and headed across the hallway. They surged behind us and demanded for us to stay. We fucking ran outta that place man. We somehow managed to get ourselves to the generator room, closing the door behind us. Isaac did a thing with his tech, not sure how, but he discovered that through the wall of the generator there was water. A lot of water. If we could swim through that water, we could escape when we hit the surface. All we needed now were explosives and breathing tanks.
B-2 Pilot "James": Aidan and Isaac both went out to search for equipment while I stayed to stand guard. I couldn't really stand, but that was besides the point. After several minutes, someone came through the doorway. It wasn't either of them. It was Vin.
Dr. ████: Camara-2? I thought you said she had died in the attack at the ravine.
B-2 Pilot "James": That's where you're right doctor. She did die back there. I thought she was still alive however. I thought that all the way until she pulled out a rifle and shot at me.
Dr. ████: Excuse me?
B-2 Pilot "James": She was possessed doctor. Possessed.
Drej-1 "Aidan": You see, I made it back just in time. I shot her on sight. Good thing she was a lousy shot. She missed.
B-2 Pilot "James": No. She'd hit exactly what she was aiming for. Her heavy sniper rifle had penetrated the wall and soon water began leaking out of that hole.
Dr. ████: But the water pressure at that depth would've…
B-2 Pilot "James": Exactly. The whole thing burst.
Dr. ████: How'd you make it back?
B-2 Pilot "James": We were getting into our suits just as Isaac came running back with a lot of those mutated things that the textbook creates you know? He also came back with the book itself. The wall burst into millions of pieces, flooding the entire compartment and probably the whole thing with it.
Drej-1 "Aidan": I shared my oxygen mask with Isaac as we jumped into the ocean. I thought they would follow us, being indestructible and all, but no, they ran from the water. And when the water hit them, you know what happened doctor?
Dr. ████: What?
Drej-1 "Aidan": They died.
Dr. ████: Is that your story?
Drej-1 "Aidan": Yes, that is all.
Dr. ████: Alright. I'll take your information to the O5 council-
At this point in the interrogation, Camara-3 lunges at Dr. ████ and successfully kills him via breaking of the neck before security could arrive. Drej-1 and B-2 Pilot both attack Camara-3, but are unsuccessful at their attempt. Security enters the room and executes Camara-3. Drej-1 dies from wounds 3 minutes after the fight and B-2 Pilot is executed 2 weeks later for disobeying direct orders to not engage during Recovery-A2.
Addendum-A3: Site-66 was approached by MTF Turtoi on January ██, 20██. Site-66 was found clear of any living things and appeared to be completely flooded after Addendum-A2. No instances of SCP-XXXX-1 were found, either dead or alive. None of the fleshy substance described in Document-B1 were found within the site. Site-66 was explored by MTF Turtoi with scuba gear and successfully confirmed that all entities within the site were neutralized. With Site-66 neutralized, O5 council agreed for SCP-XXXX to begin experimenting.
EXPERIMENT-A1
Test Subject(s): D-2915, D-5355, D-1853
Foreword: D-2915 was instructed to read out the contents of SCP-XXXX to D-5355 to test if the affects of D-2915 are from the words contained within the journal. This was overseen by Dr. Shaltz.
<Begin Log>
Dr. Shaltz: D-2915 please step up to the table and open the booklet. Understood?
D-2915: Gasps. The book opened by itself! What the-
Dr. Shaltz: Are you scared of a book my good man? Go ahead and read out the contents of the book to D-5355.
At this moment communication to the test chamber was cut out so the words were not heard by Foundation personnel. Approximately 20 minutes after D-2915 begins reading, he suddenly collapses on the floor, clutching his abdomen. He goes unconscious shortly afterward. D-5355 is escorted out of the room with SCP-XXXX contained within a bag. D-5355 experiences none of the symptoms of reading SCP-XXXX even after 30 minutes of hearing the words. However, within the containment cell, D-2915 transforms into SCP-XXXX-1 and testing resumes.
Dr. Shaltz: D-2915 are you there?
No response from D-2915.
Dr. Shaltz: D-2915 if you fail to respond you will be terminated.
No response from D-2915.
Dr. Shaltz: Send in D-1853.
D-1853 enters the containment chamber. SCP-XXXX-1 spots him immediately, despite not having any eyes remaining from the transformation. D-1853 shrieks before attempting to leave the containment cell. Access was denied. SCP-XXXX-1 rushes D-1853 at a notable speed and spears him through the pelvis with a bone hanging out of it's elbow. D-1853 presumably goes unconscious from pain, although he is still alive. SCP-XXXX-1 does not attack D-1853 anymore however, instead shuffling around the room and coming to a stop in front of the observation window.
SCP-XXXX-1 launches at the window and breaks containment. Several Foundation personnel were killed, none of notable clearance. Dr. Shaltz survived the breach and resumed testing on a later date. SCP-XXXX-1 rushed towards where SCP-XXXX was being held with D-5355. It was shot with over 6000 rounds and exploded several times over. Flames held it back for a second, but did no notable damage to it. SCP-XXXX-1 was finally destroyed when it was lured into a liquid containment cell and drowned.
Because of the fact that SCP-XXXX-1 could not be contained through methods as of now, further tests on SCP-XXXX will take place in a chamber under a large body of water. SCP-XXXX was contained at Site-██ during further experiments.
Closing Statement: D-5355 transcribed the information that D-2915 read out to him. It was recorded in File-XXXX. D-5355 was given Class B amnesics and returned to D-Class containment.
EXPERIMENT-A2
Test Subject(s): D-2192, D-7293
NOTE: This is the standard test for SCP-XXXX.
Foreword: D-2192 was introduced into the containment cell and was instructed to read the book to D-7293. When D-2192 begins the first phase of reading SCP-XXXX, D-7293 would be escorted out of the room to transcribe the information down onto File-XXXX. After D-2192 becomes SCP-XXXX-1, the containment cell would be flooded with water. The process would be repeated whenever SCP-XXXX was to be tested again.
<Begin Log>
D-2192 entered the containment chamber and was instructed to read SCP-XXXX to D-7293 while he sat in a cage. D-2192 goes into unconsciousness shortly afterward. D-7293 is escorted out of the room to transcribe what he had heard. D-2192 transforms into SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 breaks out of the cage it is in almost immediately and effortlessly. Containment failed. The entire chamber was flooded.
Closing Statement: Containment of SCP-XXXX-1 has proven difficult, but not unmanageable. However, with SCP-XXXX contained, O5 command has not designated enough resources to the research of SCP-XXXX to further continue these experiments. Experiments have been suspended until request for more funds has been granted.
Note: Do not read this journal without permission from O5 command. Unauthorized personnel will be targeted for termination. An audio recording was found within the book, hiding in a cutout.
Derek Xu
First day on the job for good old Derek no? I mean I was forced to come to this site, but who gives a shit? I paid well for the things I do, I might as well be happy about it. But I wish they would give us more vacation days…
Note: The director is an asshole. Who does he think he is? Just because he's the fucking director doesn't mean he can just have a go at me whenever he wants!
Note: Great. My desk is at the lowest floor, Aquatic Sector. If there's a containment breach, I'll be the first one to die. No. Don't jinx yourself Derek.
Note: Just met my co-worker. She's a nice person I would say. What was her name? Jello? No that can't be right. Jesse. There we go.
Shopping List (Get from Non-Standard Space Time Sector):
- Half a loaf of SCP-6313
- Some duck tape (yes duck tape not duct)
- Hot glue
- A fragment of the Emerald Bison
- A cup of coffee for Jesse
Note: The director's suddenly nice to me. Apparently 5 days is all it takes for him to change his mind?
Note: The director just changed the dress code. Now we gotta wear a different color each day…?
Note: Finished my first month here! I can't wait to contact my family again. I can already feel the riches coming in.
Note: 12513612 Don't forget your password Derek!

Another thing, our communications went down. Jordan and his team is trying to fix it. The director has ordered that no one leave until it has been fixed, due to the fact that O5 command hasn't given permission for scientists to leave.
Note: I miss my family. But I'm sure the network will be fixed soon.
Note: A large number of security guards left my sector today. They were going to deal with the D-Class "uprising" at the Written Sector. The director's afraid of D-Class, the uprising would probably just be a D-Class looking at him in the wrong way.
Note: A lot of scientists have been moved out of the sector. Reason unknown. I speculate it has to do with the fact that the front gate is malfunctioning. I guess they need all the hands they can get.

Thing's To Do In Spare Time (Co-Author Jesse):
- Call each other funny names
- Stare at the ceiling and think of what the ceiling doesn't look like
- Talk trash about the director (Extra fun)
- Yell at [DATA EXPUNGED]
- Complain of there being no air conditioning
- Touch the duck tape
Note: They fixed the network, but the front gate is now broken. God, can they get anything right? O5 command have sent a team to fix it. ETA: 5 days.
Note: Food just seemed to disappear yesterday. Our stocks are surprisingly empty. Still enough to sustain the site for another half year.
Note: The director is fucking crazy why'd he order the execution of th-

Addendum-A3: After testing with SCP-XXXX was halted, SCP-XXXX was contained at site-██. This was until Addendum-A3, in which Site-██ suffered a major blackout with it's main power source and secondary power source being cut off by unknown means. Several hours later when MTF-Spectre restored power to the site, none of the keter class SCP's had broken containment, but SCP-XXXX was found to be missing, it's safe being drilled into. Retrieval of this SCP and discovery of who had stolen it are to be put as a high priority, as the people who achieved it could have easily released all keter class SCPs contained at the site.
Addendum-A4: MTF-Turtois, who were on duty at Site-66 stopped reporting in at █:██ PM, ████ █, 20██. MTF-Spectre were sent to investigate. Dr. Shaltz requested to go with the MTF squad, as he claimed to want to inspect the site. Request was denied. The following was recorded on the helmet cam of Spectre-2.
Cam Carrier: Spectre-2 "Ace"
Location: UNKNOWN, Alaska, USA.
Foreword: MTF-Spectre was to approach Site-66 and investigate into what had happened to MTF-Turtois. Spectre-2's camera turns on as they approach the front gate of Site-66.
<Begin Log, ██:██ PM>
Spectre-2 "Ace": Requesting access to front door. Is anyone in there? Requesting access to main door.
No response from MTF-Turtois.
Spectre-1 "Jackal": Just as expected. Alright, use the keycard. It should grant us access through the gate. Once we're in, look out for hostiles in the area. I knew Jon. He wouldn't have gone down without a fight, and neither would the rest of MTF-Turtois.
Spectre-2 and 3: Yes sir.
Spectre-2 waves the keycard through the scanner. The gate door slowly begins to open. MTF-Spectre move through the gate, clearing the area. They sweep about 600 meters before coming to a stop at the elevator.
Spectre-2 "Ace": Alright. The map says that this leads into the main part of the facility. Do we have permission to continue?
Spectre-1 "Jackal": We have permission to attempt to capture all SCP's within this place, but if it comes to it, we do have authorization to terminate them.
Spectre-3 "Dalorian": Understood.
MTF-Spectre enter the elevator and descend to the main floor of Site-66. They exit and follow Spectre-2's map to Sector-5A. They come to a stop at a locked door.
Spectre-2 "Ace": This is it. The director's office. Wonder where he's gone now.
Spectre-1 "Jackal": Don't wonder too much. Let's get this door open. Will the keycard work?
Spectre-2 swipes the keycard across the scanner, but it doesn't react.
Spectre-3 "Dalorian": Looks like this door is jammed shut or something. See that residue on the right side of the frame?
MTF-Spectre move closer to inspect the liquid oozing from the frame. The liquid appears dark in color, but it is unconfirmed as there was not an ideal light in the vicinity.
Spectre-1 "Jackal": Ok get clear. I'm going to blast open that door.
Spectre-1 opens fire at the door frames and shoots around 200 rounds before the door falls apart. MTF-Spectre rush into the room and clear the area. The room is a blank area with no shelving, beds or anything notable other than a desk in the center with a single computer placed on it. Spectre-2 moves to unlock the computer.
Spectre-1 "Jackal": Ace, start working on that computer's lock.
Spectre-2 "Ace": Uh sir, there's a slight problem with that. It's already unlocked. Someone was here before us.
Spectre-1 "Jackal": Shit. Dalorian, set up a perimeter in the hallway. Ace, send a copy of that computer back to command. There's another team inside this building, and they are after classified Foundation information. Call in backup. Shit's about to hit the fan.

Cam Carrier: Spectre-2 "Ace"
Location: UNKNOWN, Alaska, USA.
Foreword: MTF-Spectre received orders to continue clearing out Site-66. They are ordered to head towards Dr. Xu's terminal.
<Begin Log, █:██ PM>
Spectre-2 "Ace": This way. Take a left and we should be about in the Non-Standard Space Time Sector.
Spectre-1 "Jackal": Please Ace, spare me the names. Which sector is this? Numbers please.
Spectre-2 "Ace": It's Sector-5B.
Spectre-3 "Dalorian": Sir? There's a trail of … something here. I can't tell what it is, but it sure as hell isn't blood.
Spectre-1 "Jackal": What the hell is that? It shouldn't matter right now. We've got a mission to do. Keep your eyes sharp and your guns armed. Let's move!
MTF-Spectre sprint into Sector-5B. They come to an abrupt stop in front of a heavy containment door.
Spectre-1 "Jackal": Quiet. You hear that?
Unknown-1 (Male): This way your highness. We'll be clear in a moment.
Unknown-2 (Female): This doesn't make any sense! What does he want us to find here?
Unknown-1 (Male): We'll find out soon enough.
The heavy containment door slowly begins to open. MTF-Spectre setup in defensive positions around the room immediately. Three masked figures and a woman move out of the containment room. All of them but the woman are heavily armed. In the woman's arms, a book is barely visible.
Site Command: MTF-Spectre, your orders are to engage in combat and recapture that book by any means possible. We believe that it is SCP-XXXX.
Unknown-2 (Female): Wait. He's telling me something.
Unknown-2 instantly freezes mid-step.
Unknown-2 (Female): What's the MTF?
Spectre-1 "Jackal": Hold it right there! Drop your weapons or we'll be forced to open fir-
Gunfire erupts around the room. Spectre-2 fires a couple shots before crouching down behind a desk.
Spectre-2 "Ace": Dalorian you still there? Dalorian?
Spectre-3 "Dalorian: pffffffffffffffffddddddddddddddddddsssssssssssss
Spectre-2 "Ace": Dalorian?
A large explosion sounds behind Spectre-2. Metal flings in all directions. The lights around the room go out.
Spectre-2 "Ace": Fuck this.
Spectre-2 stands up and begins opening fire into the darkness. Several shots are returned. One of them catches Spectre-2 in the shoulder. Spectre-2 turns away and begins running, clutching his shoulder.
Spectre-2 "Ace": Command, report in.
Site Command: Copy. Sending nearest exit to your map. We have several members awaiting extraction.
Spectre-2 "Ace": Thank god.
Spectre-2 exits the building through Gate B and moves to open the final door.
Unknown-1: I can't let you leave.
Spectre-2 spins around. His camera goes out as he turns around. All connection with MTF-Spectre is lost.
Note: Spectre-2's camera audio comes back online after 3 hours of inactivity.
Unknown-1: This is the princess speaking. I know you are listening, foundation. I don't want to fight with you. I apologize for the lives lost in this conflict. However, I do look forward for our cooperation. Meet me at As Sulimaniyah, Riyadh 12231. Be there by three days from now, or our cooperation will be forfeit. do not bring any armed men to meet me. I want someone who can make decisions. An O5 if possible, but I know that will never happen. Until then, I'll be keeping "Spectre-2" captive.

Addendum-B1: O5-█ and 5 MTF teams [Members listed in Document-M1 to M5] travel to meet the "princess" in Saudia Arabia, at King Fahad's tower. A sole women in a white suit is waiting in the entrance of the building. She greets O5-█. The following conversation is stored in Interview-XXXX-1. Warning: only members Level 4 clearance and above may access this file.
Interview-XXXX-1
Foreword: Unknown-1, now referred to as "Princess" meets O5-█. Unknown-1 appears to be unarmed and completely vulnerable. However, she is carrying a small pack with an unknown object inside.
<Begin Log, █:██ PM>
Unknown-1 "Princess": Hello. This is quiet the party you have brought here. Is this a whole 5 MTF squads? You must be important. A director? No no… Even they wouldn't have a squad this big. You must be an O5.
O5-█: Correct. Now, tell me what you know.
Unknown-1 "Princess": It's not what I know. It's what the book knows.
O5-█: What book?
Unknown-1 "Princess": This one.
Unknown-1 reveals SCP-XXXX, which she held in her hand up until this point. She opens SCP-XXXX and begins reading through it. Security was notified. MTF were prepared to evacuate O5-█, but he refused.
O5-█: You do know the effects of reading that right? You'll die.
Unknown-1 "Princess": No. I won't. It doesn't affect me I'm afraid. Yet the book speaks to me you know? It tells me things that I couldn't have known before. I know something that may concern you, the Foundation. Do you know what the Deep is?
O5-█: It was the [REDACTED] and could only be contained with [REDACTED]. If knowledge of it were to ever spread, it would [REDACTED] and create a SK-Class calamity. That's why we do not contain it and all personnel who know of it have taken amnesics.
Unknown-1 "Princess": Clearly, they all have forgotten. But not you. You were the last anchor that it had to this world, but now, others have discovered it and it has grown so powerful that nothing could contain it, much less destroy it.
O5-█: Then… what do you propose we do about it?
Unknown-1 "Princess": We have the same goal, my good man. We must move swiftly or the world may soon end. Gather your resources. My father told me that the Deep has taken control of Site-██. We must move quickly. This thing desires freedom of all the SCP's that you contain.
O5-█: Your father told you?
Unknown-1 "Princess": Derek Xu.
<End Log>
Addendum-B2: Foundation paged personnel currently residing in Site-██. When no one responded to the paging, An emergency council meeting was called. It was unanimously agreed that the single largest MTF squad would be detached to investigate and or lay siege to Site-██. It is top priority to prevent the Deep from ███████ ███ ██████████. Dr. Shaltz requested to go with the MTF squad to test out his termination test for the Deep. Access Granted. Members of MTF-NorthStar was dispatched to Site-██.
Cam Carrier: Dr. Shaltz
Location: ██████,█████████ was ████████ during ████ ██████ find ███, secure ██████
Forward: MTF teams entered through Gate A, B and C. Goal is to carry out termination attempt, code named █████-████.
<Begin Log, ██:██ PM>
Squad escorting Dr. Shaltz goes through Gate C. To prevent ███ ████ from escaping to the known world, all exits were closed off until further notice. Their squad will now be referred to as Squad C. Squad C makes their way through Site-██'s Entrance Zone. Squad C, B and A all report seeing foundation personnel wondering through the halls, as if they were going through their normal activities.
MTF-12: Should we fire? What do we do?
Command: Are they hostile?
MTF-12: Unknown. They seem to be ignoring us at this time.
Command: Roger. Ignore them for now unless they make hostile actions towards you. Report in any changes to their behavior.
MTF-12: Understood.
Squad C moves through Entrance Zone without any conflict. Squad C enters SAFE Level Containment in the following ██ minutes.
Command: Get us access to the servers of this place. It should be in the intercom room in Keter Level Containment.
MTF-11: Great. Put the thing that we need in the most dangerous place in the entire facility.
Dr. Shaltz: Wasn't my idea. Speaking of ideas, mind if I take a handgun or something? I'm feeling rather naked.
MTF-11: Negative. You are a package, not an armed personnel.
Dr. Shaltz: Cmon man, let a man defend himself!
██ minutes later, Squad C made it's way to Euclid Level Containment, going down a pair of elevators. Squad B, the group escorting the "Princess" makes their way to SCP-███'s cell at the bottom floor of the facility.
Dr. Shaltz: Can you ask command if SCP-███ is still within it's cell?
MTF-12: Command, report in.
Command: Roger that.
MTF-12: Confirmation that SCP-███ is still within it's cell?
Command: Unknown at this moment. Get to that intercom room.
MTF-12: Roger that.

Command: Report in. Anyone from Squad C report in?
Dr. Shaltz: Ragged breathing Roger that. I just saw SCP-████ with my own eyes. That was amazing.
Command: Were you exposed to the memetic effects?
Dr. Shaltz: I-I don't think so.
Command: Do you know where the rest of your squad is?

Dr. Shaltz: Static
Command: Shit.
MTF-53: Reporting in. SCP-███ is not in it's containment. I repeat, SCP-███ is not in it's containment.
Command: Make your way to Keter Level Containment, Squad B. Get us a link to those servers. Can confirm that SCP-████ is loose within this facility.
