Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4437's cell is in the heavy containment zone sector 1 in Site-88. SCP-4437 is to be held in a room by 15x15x15 meter room, constructed with grey concrete solid steel frames with titanium mainframe padded with noise-blocking foam able to silence 150 decibels. SCP-4437's containment cell is to never have a window viewing SCP-4437, instead, SCP-4437's cell has 1 camera per corner covering 90 °s. SCP-4437's cell is to be checked for damage, or leakage of any sort. If damage or leakage is present, SCP-4437 is to be moved to a secondary cell. All personnel except D-Class are not to speak with SCP-4437 at any time or reason. In the event of a breach, lockdown is to be taken, all non-combative personnel are to enter the nearest breach shelter. In the event of a mass-breach, SCP-4437 is to be a secondary priority unless SCP-4437 is the largest threat to foundation staff. 2-3 guards are to be stationed at SCP-4437's cell. D-Class personnel are to be immediately terminated without warning if un-cooperative.

Description: SCP-4437 Is a humanoid entity of no gender, it stands 6.12 feet high and 2.4 feet wide. SCP-4437 has pitch black skin. SCP-4437 has no facial features, nor hair. SCP-4437 wears a leather suit of unknown origin, there is no apparent brand on the suit. SCP-4437 was located in █████████, ██████, Canada on ██/██/1999, SCP-4437 was found in a forest, wandering around. See addendum-124-A. The main anomaly of SCP-4437 is its ability to manipulate objects out of mid-air, however, SCP-4437 is only capable of this if a person(s) say it within a 10.9-meter radius. SCP-4437 is capable of speech. See interview-4437-1 SCP-4437 speaks in a British accent and seems to know the definition of any words spoken to it. SCP-4437 appears to have significant persuasion, such as SCP-035. SCP-4437 will commonly start the conversation off as, "Hello, fellow human!". Any person talking to SCP-4437 will be referred to as SCP-4437-1, if the incident ends safely, the person then becomes their original identity. See test log-18. SCP-4437 will persuade anyone it's talking to, to answer a question, most commonly, "What is your favorite weapon?". During the event of SCP-4437-1 answering the question, SCP-4437-1 is to be [REDACTED] at all costs, and all non-combative personnel are to enter the nearest shelter. See addendum-211. After SCP-4437-1 answers SCP-4437, the exact object will appear within a [DATA EXPUNGED] around SCP-4437, SCP-4437 will pick up the object and ██████ SCP-4437-1, SCP-4437 will then go on a rampage ██████ing anyone it sees, SCP-4437 seems to be passive against animals unless provoked. SCP-4437 has a strong connection with other SCP's, and when on rampages, will commonly breach those SCP's. Once SCP-4437 has gone on a rampage, almost nothing can stop it, attempts at removing the murder weapon out of SCP-4437's hand have failed. See addendum-232.SCP-4437 seems to absorb any objects made of wood, glass, certain types of metal, bullets (Any type), or cloth thrown at it. SCP-4437 is also not affected by explosions of any type. SCP-4437 can break out of any confinement while on a rampage, similar to SCP-096. See addendum-085. Only one way has been discovered to stop SCP-4437, a metal pipe with an iron sphere on the end heated to [REDACTED] ([REDACTED]) is to touch anywhere above SCP-4437's hips, once done, SCP-4437 will melt into a black, sludge-like substance, this substance is highly poisonous, it can kill an adult male in under █ minutes, there is no antidote for the poison, so touching the substance leads to a long, painful death. Subjects who have touched SCP-4437's sludge have loss of vision and touch in the first █.█ minutes, at █ minutes, the pain receptors in the nervous system shut down, but subjects still feel the pain from the venom. At █ minutes, major organs such as the liver and kidneys fail, and at █ minutes, all organs of the body fail, leading to a quick death. Only 5 instances of this have happened since SCP-4437's first "Mini termination". See addendum-001-1. SCP-4437 was recovered in a forest located in ████████, ████, Canada. See addendum-4437 Recovery log 1. The forest is designated as SCP-4437-A. The forest had manipulated several anomalous properties, such as distant screams, no natural light, animals in this area SCP-4437 refers to "████████" act very aggressive towards trespassers, the most frequent anomalous effect is the change of [DATA EXPUNGED], once in the forest, 86% of the time, the sound changes to a silent area, with trespassers and animals being the only noise, and the forest changes from [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] to [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]. The forest covers 5x8 square miles and is highly guarded, any civilians within 0.2 miles of SCP-4437-A are to be shot by snipers. Only eight explorations of the forests have been carried out, all of them have failed miserably. See test log- A-H. Area-21 has been constructed to contain instances of SCP-4437-A, so far there are 5 instances. See addendum-342

Addendum 124-A: Field Agent █████ ████ discovers is walking along an abandoned dirt path when they see a black figure standing in the forest beside it, Field Agent █████ ███ reports the incident to command, command orders Field Agent █████ ███ to enter the forest. Field Agent █████ ███ reports an immediate change in color and ambiance, command is convinced that the forest is anomalous, Field Agent █████ ███ is then attacked 2-3 minutes after reporting the change, it is not known what attacked Field Agent █████ ███, but many foundation personnel say it was SCP-4437. 2-5 seconds after Field Agent █████ ███ was attacked, the camera feed shut off. Command was convinced that the forest had hostile entities in it.

Foreword: The interview immediately ended, and Dr.██████ was escorted to the nearest breach shelter, however, SCP-4437 had breached, ending the lives of 12 personnel, Dr.██████ was demoted from ██████ ██████████ to a █████████ after the incident, since then, Dr.██████ has not been allowed to test, or speak to SCP-4437. <End Log, Interview-4437-1 11/21/01 15:23>

Subject: D-9878
Procedure: D-9878 is to approach SCP-4437, D-9878 is to start a conversation with SCP-4437, D-9878 is instructed to answer SCP-4437's question, "What is your favorite weapon?" D-9878 replies with, "A sharpened, metal pole." A sharpened, metal pole appears 0.12 meters to the right of SCP-4437, D-9878 was earlier told to pick up the pole before SCP-4437 does.
Results: D-9878 is ███████████, although D-9878 successfully grabbed the pole before SCP-4437 did, SCP-4437 violently grabbed him a took the pole from him. However, staff were surprised SCP-4437 didn't go on a rampage, later on, staff were trained to pick up the weapon in the event of one spawning.
Analysis: SCP-4437-1 will be killed no matter what. SCP-4437 does not rampage if SCP-4437-1 picks the weapon up.

Addendum 211: Dr.█████, a Chaos Spy, enters SCP-4437's chamber, Dr.█████ then says the word "[DATA EXPUNGED]" to SCP-4437, SCP-4437 then breaks the window, and ███████████ Dr.█████, a stationed MTF Unit witnessed the scene, and requested a sector lockdown, all non-combative personnel within sector 1 of the heavy containment zone are escorted to a breach shelter. SCP-4437 then murders 24 people, SCP-4437 then breaches 3 Keter SCP's within the facility, Mobile Task Force
Eta-10 was sent in for the containment of several Euclid class object and 4 Keter class. Since then, personnel are forbidden from entering SCP-4437's cell without O5 authorization.

Addendum 233: SCP-4437 has been stationed in a cell similar to its normal cell, an arm that extends 5 meters is set horizontally on the wall next to SCP-4437, D-2811 is instructed to say "Baseball bat" to SCP-4437, a baseball bat appears 0.45 meters to SCP-4437's left-right, SCP-4437 picks it up and the mechanical arm takes hold on the bat in 0.21 seconds, at insane speed, however, SCP-4437's grasp is too strong for the arm, the arm breaks off and SCP-4437-1 is murdered, however the lack of people nearby led to SCP-4437 going docile after SCP-4437-1 is killed.

Addendum 085: SCP-4437 is fired upon by a 52 caliber machine gun, SCP-4437 is not affected, nor enraged. SCP-4437 is placed in a blast-proof room with a 1 kiloton bomb in the desert of Nevada, United States, the bomb goes off but no damage is taken from SCP-4437. SCP-4437 is trapped in a room with D-3288, D-3288 is instructed to say "Hammer" D-3288 does so, SCP-4437 breaks out of containment and kills several D-Class stationed near the room. No further accidents occur.

Addendum 001-1: SCP-4437 is exposed to the metal pipe with an iron heated sphere at the end, SCP-4437 melts into a black sludge, D-3277 is instructed to touch the black sludge, D-3277 reports feeling drowsy, the common effects take place after 2.5 minutes (See description)

Addendum-4437 Recovery Log: Mobile Task Force Alpha-9 is sent to SCP-4437-A's location, Alpha-9 spent a full 28 minutes in the forest, they encountered several creatures, all of which have been terminated, during minute 22, Unit 21 spots a black humanoid figure lurking through the trees, he notifies the other units to keep a lookout, at minute 24, Alpha-9 confronts SCP-4437, SCP-4437 is submerged in an adult male sized water tank, SCP-4437 is still able to breath, it is not known how. Alpha-9 successfully captured SCP-4437 without any casualties, although Unit 17 was attacked by a creature, they only suffered minor injuries to the leg. Alpha-9 had to use night vision goggles to see properly, the light level was at 0.001 lux.

Addendum 342: 5 Instances from SCP-4437-A have been found/captured.

SCP-4437-A-A: A wolf standing 2 feet tall of all legs, has a maximum speed of 60 mph. Extremely aggressive towards any living thing. Unusual eye color, reddish-green with a touch of orange. Probably the sanest of the 5 we've captured.

SCP-4437-A-B: A bear-like creature with 2 bull horns coming from its abdomen. Aggressive unless kept in a 34°C (93.2°F) room with an air pressure of 75 inHG. Stands 3.1 feet tall.

SCP-4437-A-C: A parrot standing 1.2 feet and has a wingspan of 2.4 feet. possesses cognitohazardous effects. Can possess any other bird within a 50-meter radius. SCP-4437-A-C is not hostile but appears to enjoy annoying the hell out of people.

SCP-4437-A-D: A spider of unimaginable size. 7.2 feet tall, and 8.3 feet wide, SCP-4437-A-D is hostile and has enough venom to kill an adult male in under 45 seconds, there is an antidote, and is widely available in Area-21.

SCP-4437-A-E: What SCP-4437 refers to as "Hell in a shell", appears to be a shell 0.8 feet wide and 0.4 feet tall, when opened, a shell within 25 Miles will grow legs, and gain sentience, SCP-4437-A-E will then go and bit peoples feet, humans cannot feel the bite, and if left unnoticed for a period of time, SCP-4437-A-E can bite all the skin off a humans foot in just under 35 minutes. Many say this SCP is very random for something of such depth.
