Special Containment Procedures: A three kilometre perimeter is to be maintained around SCP-XXXX. Civilians who encounter SCP-XXXX are to be told the region has extreme ground instability. All guards and researchers are to be rotated every 30 days out of SCP-XXXX and amnesticized to prevent risk of temporal paradoxes. Researchers are prohibited from entering SCP-XXXX-2 instances pertaining to future events. Lethal force has been permitted on those attempting to do so.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a small town consisting of a road1, and 16-45 buildings2. All structures within SCP-XXXX are connected to SCP-XXXX-1.

SCP-XXXX-1 is a 2 kilometer portion of asphalt road which signs refer to as "science street". SCP-XXXX-1 has a mild cognetohazardous property, causing individuals who view it to express an elevated interest in science, history, and discovery. SCP-XXXX-1 is indestructible to all tested methods.

SCP-XXXX-2 are structures lining SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-2 are comprised of exhibits to various fields of science and human societies. Externally the exhibits take the form of a historically accurate living space in the case of societies, and the home of someone widely accepted as "the face of the field" in the case of scientific fields. internally SCP-XXXX-2 instances have an identical layout, the area around the entrance pertaining to the beginning of the subject and the exit pertaining to the end of the subject.

A SCP-XXXX-a event is triggered the day prior to a scientific discovery or social change that would be considered an important historical event, however there are rare exeptions (see incident XXXX-a-27) Each SCP-XXXX-a event consists of 4 stages.

  1. 0:00-6:00. Flyers and banners will manifest on all SCP-XXXX-2 instances. These have a mildly cognitohazardous properties, inducing a compulsion to discuss the impending SCP-XXXX-a event.
  2. 6:00-8:00 Decoration around SCP-XXXX begins to appear to match the theme of the SCP-XXXX-a event
  3. 8:00-10:00 A series of vehicles and floats themed around SCP-XXXX-a will manifest at the north entrance of SCP-XXXX-1 and demanifest at the south entrance of SCP-XXXX-1.
  4. 10:00-18:00 Decorations created during SCP-XXXX-a begin demanifesting and SCP-XXXX-2 will begin to restructure.

SCP-XXXX-3 is a victorian age clock tower. Unlike SCP-XXXX-2 instances, SCP-XXXX-3 does not change after SCP-XXXX-a events. the clock on SCP-XXXX-3 always counts backwards to the next SCP-XXXX-a event, with the anomolous effect that anyone who views SCP-XXXX-3 will know exactly how long it will be until the next SCP-XXXX-a event. after each SCP-XXXX-a event SCP-XXXX-3 will reset to how long it is until the next SCP-XXXX-a event. following incident SCP-XXXX-a-27, SCP-XXXX-3 has on all 4 sides of its base touchscreen terminals that provide information about SCP-XXXX, all possible SCP-XXXX-2 instances, and all SCP-XXXX-a events.

Incident XXXX-a-27
On 2017/03/22, an SCP-XXXX-a event occurred themed around the foundation having a breakthrough about how SCP-XXXX works. exactly 24 hours afterwards, SCP-XXXX-3 changed to have screens on its sides. all screens on SCP-XXXX-3 were displaying the message "WE NEED TO TALK". the following is a transcript of the following interview.
