Special Containment Procedures: Due to the inaccessibility of SCP-XXXX, as well as it's
semi-conscious nature, there is no known nor theoretical way to contain SCP-XXXX without the assistance of, and the reliance on, SCP-XXXX-3B. In response, The Foundation has issued out order 4114, which states the following:

To all Foundation Personnel in assigned to SCP-XXXX,

Due to the incapability of SCP-XXXX's containment or control, the following procedures must take action until another option is available.

1. SCP-XXXX-3B is to be kept in custody of The Foundation at site #███

2.Any and all attempts to keep The Foundation in the best interest of SCP-XXXX-3B are to be made, with the exception of the following:

a. Money exceeding the amount of One Million USD per year.

b. Release from the custody of The Foundation

c. Off site "vacations" or temporary chaperoned release from site #███ exceeding a time-frame of 2 months. Upon it's vacations the following must be done:After said "Vacation" a full report of all activities, locations visited, and Photographs with IDs of all people who had made immediate contact of SCP-XXXX-3B is to be given straight to the O5 council members with both an encrypted digital copy on a USB drive, and printed copy.
After close examination, and analysis, the USB drive is to be immediately transported to storage site #███ and downloaded onto the specialized computer.
The USB is to then be destroyed via Incineration.
The hard copy is to be brought to storage site #███ and stored in vault #███.
A six month waiting period is to then be put into place before SCP-XXXX-3B can have another "Vacation"
SCP-XXXX-3B is to wear a wire and tracker, AT ALL TIMES.

d. SCP-XXXX-3B's consumption of alcohol.

EDIT AFTER INCIDENT #5564 on ██/██/██ AN AMENDMENT WAS MADE TO ORDER 4114 BY THE 05 COUNSEL

To all Foundation Personnel Assigned to SCP-XXXX

Due to Incident #5564, the O5 Counsil have revisited and revised Order 4114, and the following changes and adjustments are to be taken into effect immediately.

1.In Section 2, Sub-Section "a", the annual allowance is to be lowered to 500,000 USD with a maximum ownership of 10 million USD, due to lack of use.

2.In Section 2, Sub-Section "c", SCP-XXX-3B may take daily trips to the nearest Bar while accompanied by 3 Field agents, and with the listed Wire and Tracker mentioned in Order 4114.

3.Section 2, Sub-Section "d" is to be vetoed and replaced with the Following:

"d-2. SCP-XXXX-3B is permitted to consume alcohol to the quantity that it sees is nessesary. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS ANY FOUNDATION MEMBER UNDER LEVEL 5 PERMITTED TO DENY SCP-XXXX-3B ALCOHOL."

4. While drives are permitted to SCP-XXXX-3B, any Vehicles Purchased by SCP-XXXX-3B, are to have a tracker placed upon them immediately. Also, SCP-XXXX-3B is NOT PERMITTED to drive past a 50 mile radius of site #███

5. SCP-XXXX-3B-1 is permitted to be a companion to SCP-XXXX-3B so long as SCP-XXXX-3B is to comply with The Foundation AND SCP-XXXX-3B-1 does not become problematic to SCP Personnel or The Foundation's property, processes, or Assets. A reinforced, muzzle made from calcium nano tube wires, is to be worn by SCP-XXXX-3B-1 while off site, or while being a potential danger to The Foundation or it's Processes, Assets, Personnel and/or Duties.

Description: SCP-XXXX Is said to be an endless, semi-sentient dimension that is pitch black in nature and is filled with Glassy, obsidian like masses that emit a deep violet aura. Absorbing all sound, the person cannot even hear their own sense of reason, making any rational thought nearly impossible. People who enter and/or are in SCP-XXXX become SCP-XXXX-1. This is due to the psychological impression that irreversibly imprinted onto SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 are those who are in SCP-XXXX but haven't become a permanent part of it. SCP-XXXX-1 still retains memories, free will (to an extent) and their bodies, but their thoughts are manipulated and influenced by SCP-XXXX.
Within SCP-XXXX there are constant flashes of deep violet that work as an aid to SCP—XXXX's hypnosis but isn't really necessary as will be explained later. Also, beyond the dim and deep strobes, there is a constant darkness within the void of SCP-XXXX, which causes sensory deprivation. This is due to the fact that the strobes go unnoticed to SCP-XXXX-1, leaving them with the deep dark void left to look at, which causes a lack of stimuli. Via this environment's natural ability to cause Faulty Source Monitoring, it is then able to manipulate the hallucinations a patient would naturally experience, turning all hallucinations into the victim's fears and traumatic memories. This phenomenon will continue indefinitely until they become SCP-XXXX-2.
The ability to experience fear does not seem to be a factor. Those who are insane, living things that usually are unable or are biologically unable to, or other SCPs that are are sentient but that are otherwise recognized as objects, and SCP's that have been thought to be resistant and/or immune to psychological effects such as mind reading, psychological manipulation, mental breakdowns, thought changes, memory development and/or manipulation (whether that be natural, synthesized, real and/or implanted) or SCP's that were thought to have a mental advantage. Also, recently it was discovered that the mind doesn't have to be alive to be manipulated, but the means of taking control is done differently.
Traditionally, a live and/or sentient subject will go into SCP-XXXX and will immediately be overtaken by an extreme feeling of paranoia, and extreme loss in; cognitive function, analytical reasoning, pattern recognition, self-awareness, control of memory recollection, control of perception, understanding whether or not they are dreaming or are experiencing reality, and control over their bodily functions (if any). SCP-XXXX will take control over all previously mentioned processes, and will randomly give control to the victim and take control away. SCP-XXXX will also give false stimuli to their senses, create false memories, bring up real ones, recreate past experiences so that the victim relives them in vivid detail with all painful aspects of said memory(s) emphasized and exaggerated.It is to be noted, the more one fights, the stronger their mind is and the more they resist, will only delay SCP-XXXX's effects and the pain and paranoia they feel will increase exponentially. Also, if one does not fight at all and immediately gives in, SCP-XXXX will still prolong SCP-XXXX-1's "Torment" even longer.
The repeated fluctuation between reality, false reality, reliving both real and unreal memories, and having control of random parts of their body and mind causes them to breakdown mentally and eventually, their minds give in to SCP-XXXX and stop fighting back. Their mind will eventually take on theses actions naturally and by choice. Fear and pain will be all they know and even when given full control of their minds, these processes keep taking place. It is at this point where their bodies start to deteriorate and only their sentience remains which at this point has become irreversibly connected to SCP-XXXX.
It is at this point where SCP-XXXX-1 will go from being victim to SCP-XXXX and internally destroying themselves, to become SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2, also known as Vessels, will have their severed sentience wander throughout the void and will act as a "battery" to "fuel" SCP-XXXX. They will be used to increase the strength and efficiency of SCP-XXXX's effects on SCP-XXXX-1 They are also used as mindless puppets to help reenact memories and situations that SCP-XXXX-1 will be forced to experience. SCP-XXXX also has the capability to access SCP-XXX-2's memories, ideas, intellect, and creativity that they had before becoming SCP-XXXX-1, to help aid in coming up with new ways of "breaking" SCP-XXX-1s.
In order to attract and bring in new SCP-XXXX-1s, SCP-XXXX takes SCP-XXXX-1s or
SCP-XXXX-2s that show potential, whether that takes the form of them having extreme knowledge and intellect, physical properties, charisma, and/or anything else that may be useful in persuading or capturing new specimens and puts them through extensive breaking. This is to ensure that they are completely destroyed mentally this way SCP-XXXX can reconstruct them into SCP-XXXX-3 or Wanderer.
SCP-XXXX-3s are similar to SCP-XXXX-2s in the way that they are connected to SCP-XXXX, but they are not paranoid zombies unable to have new thoughts. SCP-XXXX-3s retain their free will, which is why they are so rare. SCP-XXXX is cautious and cunning due to its knowledge that creating SCP-XXXX-3s are dangerous for they have similar abilities to SCP-XXXX and still have their free will completely intact and are not 100% a part of SCP-XXXX. Having a connection, but not completely attached to SCP-XXXX has risks as shown in the form of SCP-XXXX-3B and SCP-XXXX-3B-1, even though SCP-XXXX-3B is the only known case of a failed SCP-XXXX-3.
SCP-XXXX also knows that it cannot directly interact with our dimension or world and needs a "middle man" so while risky, SCP-XXXX-3s are necessary to SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-3s are completely corrupted and irreversibly brainwashed in wanting to do SCP-XXXX's bidding. They hunger for new specimens to be sent to SCP-XXXX for breaking and reconstruction. They have similar assets as SCP-XXXX as they have instant knowledge of all peoples fears, can read and manipulate minds, and can cast "shadows" or SCP-XXX-2s that come to earth under the control of the SCP-XXXX-3. They can access the rock formations from within SCP-XXXX called "Umbranium" that is made of a unknown material that seems to be indestructible, unaffected by heat or impact, and can be 9 times as sharp as obsidian. Being cut by the Umbranium causes extreme paranoia, hallucinations, and people say they experience a pain within their "soul". The same effect takes place if the stone enters the bloodstream or enters the body in any way so long as it passes the skin. Depending on the amount of the Umbranium and how close it got to the brain, the effects can last and varying lengths of time and in varying levels of intensity, with longer lasting more intense effects taking place the closer to the brain.

EDIT: WARNING Due to the positions and role that SCP-XXXX-3B plays in the foundation, SCP-XXXX-3B and SCP-XXXX-3B-1s files have been placed under Level 5 Security Clearance and no personal under such clearance are permitted to observe, read, study, analyze, have knowledge of, or handle SCP-XXXX-3B or SCP-XXXX-3B-1s files. ANY PERSONAL UNDER LEVEL 5 SECURITY CLEARANCE WHO VIOLATE THIS WARNING WILL BE TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY

+ SCP-XXXX-3B

SCP-XXX-3B is an SCP-XXXX-3B that has little influence from SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-3B looks exactly like a human male, but claims that homo-sapiens are descendant from his race, and while this has yet to be confirmed, genetic testing has shown he isn't 100% human, but is very similar. This makes his claim, and all of his explanations for the few differences, hold water but are just unconfirmed. Also, it should be noted that SCP-XXXX-3B's DNA structure is a triple helix instead of a double helix, and had two new and unidentified amino acids with them coming together on the outsides forming what appears to be a twisting triangular prism.
