Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5776 is stationary and must have one security team indefinitely placed outside of SCP-5776 at all times to halt any attempted entry of SCP-5776.
Description: SCP-5776 is a stone lighthouse on the coast of New Jersey by MTF Epsilon-6 ("Village Idiots") on 10/4/1987 due to reports of homicide by a group of teenagers who experienced the effects of SCP-5776. SCP-5776 has a height of 30 meters with a cross-section of 20 square meters. SCP-5776 has 4 floors, excluding the lantern room at the top of the structure. The interior of SCP-5776 is furnished lightly and extinguished wax candles for a light source.
Subjects who enter SCP-5776 will start to feel anxious and paranoid after being within the walls of SCP-5776. After an hour of being in SCP-5776, subjects will start lighting all candles inside of SCP-5776 due to a feeling of unease and a sense of dread. Three hours after entry, subjects report seeing shadows known as SCP-5776-1 watching them from any dark area of SCP-5776. Subjects will then try to attack SCP-5776-1 after fifteen minutes after their first sighting. If a subject successfully attacks SCP-5776-1, the subject will have killed one other subject within SCP-5776.
Addendum 5776-01:
Two test subjects entered SCP-5776 to experiment with the effects of SCP-5776. One subject murdered its partner after five hours of exposure to SCP-5776. The test subject was returned to Site-17 and received amnestics for mental trauma.
