Special Containment Protocol: SCP-XXXX is to be locked in a steel box filled with acid in site 27's storage room. If SCP-XXXX is used without approval by Dr. █████ the user of SCP-XXXX is to be terminated. Any site 27 personnel showing signs of enhancements by SCP-XXXX are to be terminated and SCP-XXXX is to be put into more intense containment.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears as a 11 inch Shadow Ops Combat Knife. There appears to be no physical differences from the normal model other than the inscription upon the handle “Courtesy of Fitzgerald”.
SCP-XXXX when used to stab a person will either heal an injury if one is present, if there is no injury present, the area of the body stabbed by SCP-XXXX will be "enhanced" either by cybernetics or extreme muscle growth in the area. Installation of the cybernetic enhancements is extremely painful. Muscle grown by SCP-XXXX can turn into tumors and eventually kill the person. People with cybernetic enhancements caused by SCP-XXXX are much more likely to disobey orders and are more likely to cause physical violence.
When SCP-XXXX is used to heal an injury the injury will be healed but the process of healing is painful. SCP-XXXX can only heal specific injuries, but healing of injuries has side effects. Use of SCP-XXXX will cause the person healed to be more violent and reckless towards the foundation. People effected by SCP-XXXX will be much more likely to cause a containment breach and will be inclined to kill others who work for the foundation.
Addendum-XXXX-A-01: Initial containment
Initial containment: On 19/5/15 site 27’s MTF encountered SCP-XXXX on a recovery mission for SCP-5725. Both SCP-XXXX and SCP-5725 were encountered in a “Fitzgerald Facilities” warehouse. SCP-XXXX was found on-top of a dead body with extreme tumor growth. Ten MTF members died during this mission.1 The MTF returned to site 27 with SCP-XXXX and SCP-5725 █ hours after leaving.
Addendum-XXXX-B-01: Termination attempt 01
Termination attempt 01: On 16/8/17 SCP-XXXX was inserted into a tub of acid for █ hours. The acid had little effect on SCP-XXXX but there was damage. Acid being able to damage SCP-XXXX has made an affect on containment, SCP-XXXX is to be inside a tub of acid constantly.
Addendum-XXXX-B-02: Termination attempt 02
Termination attempt 02: On 25/9/17 SCP-XXXX put inside of a hydraulic press after being inside a tub of acid for █ hours. After the press touched SCP-XXXX instead of crushing the knife, the knife resisted the pressure and instead broke the machine. It has been decided that Dr. █████ will talk to SCP-5725 about SCP-XXXX to get extra information on the knife.
Addendum-XXXX-B-03: Termination of SCP-XXXX
Termination of SCP-XXXX: On 28/9/17 SCP-XXXX was placed in between to granite slabs and crushed. This operation was overseen by Dr. █████ and SCP-5725. After crushing of SCP-XXXX into small shards each piece was put into a different acid filled container and left for ██ days. Upon returning to the crates there was nothing left of
SCP-XXXX and the termination was a success.
