Following Experiment 5445-A-10 and the following incident, SCP-5545 has been reclassified as Euclid.
Special Containment Procedures: The Zoo facility surrounding SCP-5545 has been purchased by the Foundation and converted into Site-██. All public roads leading to or passing by Site-██ have been redirected.
The two entrances to SCP-5545 are to be guarded by two security personnel each. Personnel require at least level 3 security clearance to enter SCP-5545. No individual may reside in SCP-5545 for more than 15 minutes, unless they have a research permit from at least a level 4 Personnel, or have been given written permission by a level 4 Personnel. No individual may enter SCP-5545 after 11:00PM or before 4:30AM, unless there is a mobile task force on site prepared for possible SCP-5545-1 instances.
Any entity destined for removal from SCP-5545 must first be prompted on whether it wishes to exit. If it does not, it can extend it’s containment within SCP-5545 for up to 7 days, at which point it will be removed forcibly and relocated to Site-██. If it does, transport to Site-██ will begin immediately. In the event that the individual entered between 11:00PM and 4:30AM, they must be removed immediately.
Any instances of SCP-5545-1 must be captured and brought to Dr.██████ on Site-114 for testing as soon as possible.
Description: SCP-5545 is a standard containment enclosure for a large carnivorous animal. When discovered at the ███████ Zoo in ██████, Canada , SCP-5545 was used to contain a family of 3 bengal tigers. The enclosure measures 175 square meters and contains man-made terrain constructed of plaster and rock in different sizes, an animal pool lined with concrete, currently filled with 565L of water and an elevated platform with a shallow groove, presumably for food.
SCP-5545’s anomalous properties begin to form when any human individual enters the enclosed area. Testing on non-humans has proven inconclusive.
Over the first 15 minutes of entry, individuals within SCP-5545 report increased anxiety and the feeling that something inside them is shaking. However, no individuals have ever reported wanting to leave the enclosure any more than they would normally. After 15 minutes within the enclosure, all anxiety disappears from the subject, and they seem incredibly comfortable with remaining in the enclosure for extended periods of time. When asked to leave, individuals will become annoyed and refuse. If forced to leave or threatened, the subject will become aggressive towards all things it thinks will attempt to remove it. If the subject is successfully removed, these effects will cease immediately.
If an individual stays within SCP-5545 for more than 20 minutes, physical changes will begin to manifest in the subject. The subject will report mild-medium discomfort as their entire physical from transforms to that of an apparently random animal, living or extinct, but never from the future (Testing on SCP-5545-1 must continue to see if these creatures are from a farther time period). After 1 hour, these changes are complete and resistance to leaving is gone. If the subject is removed at this stage, physical changes are permanent, and severe physical trauma caused by the shifting and contorsion of body parts is common. Animals reported have all been vertebrates, and have all been able to stay on land for extended periods of time.
All animals produced by SCP-5545 between 4:31AM and 10:59PM portray human levels of intelligence, and share a lifespan that has been drastically increased to human levels. After thorough testing, it was revealed that these animals also have all the memories the subject had before transformation. Subjects never display the animals typical level of aggression, and instead attempt to socialize and interact as gently as humans. Even when provoked, the animals do not attack if the subject previously would not have done so.
The enclosure will then attempt to placate the animal produced by the means of a normal zoo. Every 2.5 hours, food will be generate in the groove. It is always food preferred by the animal subjects have been transformed into. If the animal produced is SCP-5545-1, the groove will be filled with a pile of dead bats of varying species. SCP-5545-1 instances never consume the bats in any way, and study of the corpses has proven that they contain no abnormalities. If the enclosure is damaged in any way, it will begin to regenerate at 12:00AM. Regenerated material is always stronger than it was previously. Study and extraction of the plaster and other materials has become incredibly difficult over time, and is currently deemed impossible.
Animals produced by SCP-5545 between 11:00PM and 4:30AM have been designated SCP-5545-1. These animals have not currently been recorded in the fossil record, and up to this date, have all been the same. The creatures average a height around 1.9 meters and are similar in resemblance to great apes, but are much more agile and inherently predatory. The appear to lack eyes, but have three holes in their skull, and appear to rely on some form of echolocation to find prey. Their teeth are between 7 and 13 centimetres, they are incredibly aggressive, and have always attempted an immediate escape. They must be captured as soon as possible. If safe capture is not possible, termination of the entity is permitted.
31 instances have exited SCP-5545 since discovery. 3 have died of natural causes, 7 are terminated or contained SCP-5545-1 instances, and the rest are safely contained on Site-██.
Addendum #1: All experiments involving SCP-5545 are to be listed below until a proper file can be procured to store them.
Experiment 5545-A-2
Name: Dr. ████ with Dr. Kramer assisting.
Date: ██/██/20██
Procedure: D-class subject will be asked to enter SCP-5545. The chamber will be observed through the standard 6 inch acrylic glass on the south wall of the enclosure via standard audio and video recording devices. D-class subject will be asked to document how he feels over the duration of 80 Minutes.
Results: Subject D-33886 (Male, 33) is asked to enter SCP-5545 with no knowledge of its anomalous properties. Subject does as instructed, and waits 13 minutes within SCP-5545 before speaking. Subject expresses mild anxiety and fear. After 25 minutes, subject expresses the fact that he has become itchy, and that he is much warmer than usual. After 50 Minutes, subject has been forced into quadrupedalism due to changes in its front appendages, but does not report pain. Subject is also covered in brown fur and has minor changes to facial structure. After 80 minutes, subject is identical in appearance to a male Canadian mountain lion. Dr.████ then pressed a board against the enclosure glass, reading: “DO YOU WISH TO LEAVE?”, and the options “YES” and “NO” on different sides of the board below the question. D-33886 walked up to the glass and pressed its nose where the text: “YES” was located. D-33886 was compliant, and transported to Site-██ under tranquilization.
Notes: Subject never displayed aggression similar to that of a standard male mountain lion. Subject made no attempt to defend territory or resist tranquilization. Testing to determine the range of animals will continue.
Experiment 5545-A-9

Procedure: Dr.████████ and his wife will be asked to enter SCP-5545 after given clearance. The enclosure will be observed through the standard 6 inch acrylic glass on the south wall of the enclosure via standard audio and video recording devices. Subjects will be asked to document how they feel over the duration of 80 Minutes.
Results: Dr.████████ and his wife enter SCP-5545. After entry at 1:20PM, the couple began to converse. After 25 minutes, Dr.████████ and his wife have been reduced to approximately 10% of initial body mass and skin pigmentation has become more grey. No pain is reported by subjects. After 54 minutes, subjects have grown feathers on multiple appendages, and report feeling much lighter, as well as growing beaks. After 80 minutes, The couple has transformed into 2 chickadees, a male and female. When prompted with the exit board, the couple both respond no. After 48 hours, they were prompted again. They responded yes and were transported to Site-██.
Notes: Dr.████████ and his significant other never attempted escape, despite the enclosure lacking a roof. Both subjects also transformed into the same animal. Despite the implications of this, Dr.█████ has told us not to conduct tests on multiple individuals until we have a firm grasp on the properties of SCP-5545.
Experiment 5545-A-10

Procedure: D-class subject D-41707 (Male, 34) will be asked to enter SCP-5545. The enclosure will be observed through the standard 6 inch acrylic glass on the south wall of the enclosure via standard audio and video recording devices. Subject will be asked to document how they feel over the duration of 80 Minutes.
Results: D-Class Personnel D-41707 enters SCP-5545 at 11:37PM. Over the course of 15 minutes, subject has collapsed and is sobbing around the pool and reports mild pain across their whole body. After 30 minutes, subject reports near-total blindness, and begins to click while speaking in a manner similar to modern bats, making them difficult to understand. In addition, subject experiences elongation of front limbs and growth of sharp teeth. After 80 minutes, subject completed transformation into the first instance of SCP-5545-1 and immediately attempted to escape. It exited through the open ceiling of the enclosure, and dashed towards Dr.████ violently eviscerating and ████████████ until dead. It killed three members of MTF Beta-██ after they were called in before fleeing into a nearby forest. It was found by task force MTF Alpha-29 on ██/██/20██ and transported to Site-114 for testing.
Notes: After the death of Dr.████ and the members of MTF Beta-██, SCP-5545 has been reclassified and guards have been added to the main exits/entrances of the building. Tests are not to be conducted at night unless there is a mobile task force on site. Dr. Kramer has been sent to another facility after this incident.
Experiment 5545-A-14

Procedure: D-Class subject D-63044 (Female, 27) will be asked to enter SCP-5545. The enclosure will be observed through the standard 6 inch acrylic glass on the south wall of the enclosure via standard audio and video recording devices. Subject will be asked to document how they feel over the duration of 80 Minutes.
Results: Subject D-63044 enters SCP-5545 at 9:14 AM. After 30 minutes, the body mass of the subject has over tripled, the length of their arms has greatly reduced and subject has begun to develop a protrusion above the rectum. Subject reports no pain, and claims to be gaining new nerves and instincts in previously absent appendages. After 61 minutes, subject has developed a skull structure similar to most ancient theropod dinosaurs, has increased in body mass farther and has taken on a clearly reptilian and avian-like appearance. After 80 minutes, subject has become an adult Tyrannosaurus Rex, female. When prompted with the exit board on if it wanted to leave, it seemed to attempt a point, but instead fell, and destroyed a portion of the enclosure’s south wall. It was ruled an accident, as it displayed no aggression or predatory behavior normal for a carnivore of its size. Subject was tranquilized and subsequently transported to Site-██.
Notes: This is the first time SCP-5545 has transformed a subject into an animal more than 4 million years from our current time period. Testing on the range of transformation will continue as soon as possible.
Experiment 5545-A-29
Name: Dr. ██████ with Dr.███ assisting.
Date: ██/██/20██
Procedure: D-Class subject D-29999 (Female, 44) will be asked to enter SCP-5545. The enclosure will be observed through the standard 6 inch acrylic glass on the south wall of the enclosure via standard audio and video recording devices. Subject will be asked to document how they feel over the duration of 80 Minutes.
Results: Subject enters the enclosure at 8:08PM. After 25 minutes, subject has increased in body mass, and their neck has become thicker. Slight discomfort and a painless growth near the stomach is reported by the subject. After 40 minutes, subject’s arms have turned into bare chicken wings, and it has doubled in body mass. Subject reports medium discomfort and a larger growth. After 80 minutes, subject has become identical in appearance to SCP-3199 and immediately begins its reproductive process. Advance team MTF Omega-23 was called in, and forced to terminate D-29999 before Site-██ was taken over. Offspring produced by D-29999 did not project the intelligence and lack of aggression of its mother, and they mutilated and ████████ one member of MTF Omega-23 before elimination.
Notes: It appears that not only can SCP-5545 transform human beings into extinct animals, but any discovered vertebrate. It is unknown if this was a malfunction or a standard operation of SCP-5545. Due to the destruction to staff and Site-██ caused by this experiment, testing priority will be shifted to mental tests of previously transformed individuals.
Experiment 5545-B-3

Procedure: D-Class subject D-10566 (Male, 21, Transformed into Capybara) will be questioned on events that have and haven’t happened in its human life. It will also be asked to identify family members and friends. It will indicate answers by either nodding or shaking its head. Subject will then be introduced to past family members physically. All responses will be documented.
Results: Subject is able to determine events that have happened to it with 100% accuracy. Family members and friends are also identified 100% of the time. After introducing the family of the subject, the subject showed levels of excitement and happiness incapable of other members of its species. When the foundation is asked if subject can be brought home, foundation denies and subject becomes unwilling to cooperate for the remainder of the experiment
Notes: It’s exactly as we thought. Memories are completely retained and orders remain to be understood. Testing will continue.
Experiment 5545-B-10

Procedure: D-Class subject D-5788 (Female, 29, Transformed into an instance of SCP-5545-1) will be questioned on events that have and haven’t happened in its human life. From behind 5-inch bulletproof glass. It will also be asked to identify family members and friends. It will indicate answers by either nodding or shaking its head. Subject will then be introduced to past family members through 5-inch bulletproof glass.
Results: Subject is able to determine events and past family members with a 0-2% accuracy and is incredibly aggressive toward experimentation staff. When introduced to them, Subject leapt at the glass, cracking it. Subject was tranquilized and brought off-site before a possible containment breach.
Notes: SCP-5545-1 instances display absolutely no resemblance to whatever being they were previously. It is undetermined why these creatures don’t follow the normal effects of SCP-5545. Testing involving SCP-5545 or SCP-5545-1 will be stopped temporarily as more staff is brought in for more conclusive research.
